As in each of the several times I have brought my pets to Quail Corners Animal Hospital since moving to Raleigh 18 months ago, I am significantly impressed with the quality of service, demeanor, kindness and thoroughness of staff, and of course the expertise of and communication by the doctor(s). Dr. Piver saw my dog and cat yesterday, and was most helpful in addressing my concerns (and patient with my questions), as has been the case with each of the vets who've seen my pets for routine visits and an emergency. I also greatly appreciate the senior discount and suggestions for cost-saving options, and have confidently referred several pet owners to this practice.

Can’t believe they charge $100 for a rabies vaccine. I have never paid more than $30-40 at any other vet or clinic. Really tacky to be upcharging a rabies vaccine, they should be promoting that everyone gets a rabies shot by making them affordable for all pet owners, not charging an arm and a leg for a legal necessity. Absolutely won’t be back after that or recommending. Can’t imagine what else they’re price gouging.

This was my first time at Quail Corners. I really appreciated they took COVID precautions seriously. They were kind, courteous and very professional. I appreciated having plenty of time with the doctor to answer any questions I had. Highly recommend!

Don't think the nurse there know how to deal with dog. She almost choke my dog the way she put the leash and pull on her. Won't go back for sure.

At best, we had a neutral experience here. Not great, not terrible. We had suspicions our puppy ate something that he wasn't supposed to and was sick. I called to see how it works since we have never been there before. They said it as a 4 hour wait time, but we had to be in the parking lot to be counted, which is fine. We drove over immediately and called again, they said it was an hour wait time... which was infuriating to see the difference within 10 mins and the way the lady on the phone refused to acknowledge that stark difference in wait time. They made it seem like they would not provide any care without a Parvo test, after speaking with other pet parents after the incident (asking them where to go instead of this place) they said they were never required to have their puppies tested to be seen, but they know they push that here. Of course its an expensive test and they scare you into thinking the dog may have it. Which we will do anything that is needed. I understand its a very serious disease, but if we have a suspicion of what is causing a sickness in the dog as specific as we did, I don't understand why they were pushing it on us. That along with the mysterious wait times (I feel they exaggerate the times to push people to NOT come there), did not leave me with a particularly positive experience at this provider.

Brought my dog in for a surgery on his ear. Left him overnight and when I returned they stitched his ear and sent me on my way with necessary medication. Few weeks later I returned to have the stitches removed. He was in and out very quickly which I thought was odd because he did have a lot of stitches for a small ear surgery. A few weeks passed after that and I noticed my dog starting to shake his head on the side that he had surgery on. I took him in and specifically asked them to look in a particular spot where I saw a black spot in his ear, and even said that I think he may have stitches in his ear still. They reassured me that everything was fine but to give him some ear wash every other day. After that he was still shaking his head a lot in the direction of the same ear. Upon looking into his ear I found 3 stitches that had not been removed, and pulled them out myself. This is nothing but pure laziness and unwillingness to complete a simple task of removing stitches. The fact that I specifically pointed out a spot and said "I think thats a stitch in his ear" and you can't take the proper time to examine, and just tell me everything is fine. DO BETTER!!

I have visited Quail Corners for three different issues with my dog, most recently for a surgery. I already had a very positive and high opinion of them which has only deepened after this surgery. His vets, Dr. Posey and Dr. Chaffer and support staff have truly gone out of their way in ways that I did not expect to ensure his comfort and better health. Every single person I have interacted with at Quail Corners (a bunch, at this point) have been so steadfast in their kindness, compassion and patience with my dog and with me as well. Pet health issues can be really scary and I think that these folks are the gold standard of veterinary practices in the Triangle.

I can not say enough amazing things about this practice! Dr. Piver is kind, responsive, knowledgeable, and such a true advocate for pets and their owners. The staff as well! From the front desk support team, to the techs and all behind the scenes, a place you always encounter professionals who love what they do and it shows. We have two Cane Corsos, and Dr.Piver comes in and immediately drops to the ground for kisses and slobbers, always taking time to answer all of my neurotic dog mom questions and concerns. Would highly recommend Quail Corners!

I’ve never had a bad experience with QuailCorners. Dr.Baer is amazing and really helps me know what I need to take care of my dogs. Everyone of the staff techs and front desk are always super friendly, helpful and responsive & are really careful and sweet with my elderly dogs. I couldn’t ask for a better place to be able to take my babies. Thank you!

Update: Emergency 3. Still amazing. Very caring and professional. Glad to have such a wonderful staff caring for my little buddy in stressful times! (Although wish we didn’t have to come in so frequently) ????????‍♀️ Update: Surgery number two for my buddy can’t say enough about the doctors and staff! They saved my buddy! They were attentive to all his needs. They were patient with me and my questions and phone calls. They really do care for your pets ???? Had to bring Bentley in for an emergency. Everyone was so caring and attentive to his needs. I can definitely feel the love for the animals here. Goes without saying you'd hope but not all vets have been this way for me!

Great experience can’t wait to make them my primary vet. They got my dog fixed up for the next year in one visit and even clipped her nails for free after I forgot. They were wonderful and I’ll definitely be back. Friendliest staff ????????

They are the worst vet they killed my dog. She over medicated him with THYROID meds. Piver didn't even call to check on my boy. He died all I get is an email. Don't use them ripoff Still no call or condelance from Piver. Today Aug 4 2021 it's 2 months since my boys passing I PUT IN A CALL HOPING SOMEONE WOULD FIND IT IN THERE HEART TO HELP ME UNDERSTAND. THE GIRL WAS RUDE AND INSENSITIVE FOR A VETS OFFICE. I THINK IT'S DISGUSTING THE WAY I HAVE BEEN TREATED. AND MY BOY IS GONE I HAVE NO IDEA WHY??AND NO ONE WILL HELP ME!!!!! I never got a call or card?? The worst vet no compassion. You see my boy died and I have NO IDEA WHY. AND NO ONE AT QUAIL WILL TALK TO ME. ALWAYS TOO BUSY TO TALK. I AM SO UPSET. . assholeloo

I loved the numbered parking spaces and I love the efficient system they have in place that was so easy to follow! It took the stress out of the situation of getting care for your sick family member. The doctors and staff were so informative. Also, it wasn’t as high as a bill as I thought! And my baby is feeling better. So it was worth every penny.

Dr. Baer did an excellent job at treating my dog that was going through seizures. She had kept us up to date and set expectations in advance. Did a great job of explaining things at a level the average person can understand.
