I’m really upset with my experience at this Petco when I brought my dog to be groomed on 12/14/21. When I picked up my yorkie after a couple of hours, people talked to me as if everything was normal & checked me out telling me that she had behaved well and they had enjoyed her. I brought my dog home and realized she had a deep cut on her stomach that nobody had told me anything about. I couldn’t believe that I left my dog in their care and no one told me any information about an accident that had occurred where my dog was injured. I understand that accidents happen but the lack of honesty is what is the most bothersome about the entire experience. Update: Managers at the store responded quickly to my call & said that their protocol is for pet parents to be notified that their dog was injured & so they profusely apologized for what had taken place. She let me make an appointment for my dog at the vet of my choice & they covered the entire cost. My dog had to get three staples though, that’s how deep the wound was which is so horrible! They handled it well afterwards and I really appreciate both Kelly & Morgan who I spoke to, but I figured I would write this review because I would want to know this kind of thing happened to a pet at this grooming location.

State does not mandate to wear masks yet they want to force me even when I clearly said I don't because of my condition. I was with Morgan the girl who helped me find the filter didn't have an issue with my condition and still helped Me. However at check out this girl with dreads did not want to check Me out over a mask when she didn't even have her nose covered. How ridiculous to think they are above the state. Freedom people!!! Congratulations you lost me as a regular.

I Was Here Doing An Instacart Order. First There Wasn’t Dog Food On The Selves. Which Is Fine I No They Have To Restock. I Asked Two Associates Could I Have Help Getting A 47 Pound Dog Food Bag Off Of The Dolly They Have To Restock. I Was Told Twice I Can Get It Myself. So I Got The Dog Food. Then I Went To Check Out. The Same Associate Luke Was The Cashier. He Had An Attitude Because It Was Three Different Orders And Also Balled Up One Of The Receipts And Put It In The Bag. Highly Disappointed In TheCustomer Service Here!

I bring my dog with me and employees are so helpful and helped me carry my bags to the car and were very respectful and professional. They are more then happy to answer any questions and help you in any way they can. I love it here

Not our 1st grooming but the 1st visit to the Glenwood location had a grooming appointment with stylus Anthony D. We were not happy with our results my baby has a uneven cut and some areas look as if they were not touched

Not just bad; completely and totally horrible! The rudest staff I've ever seen in any establishment. They treat the customers so badly it makes me wonder how bad they treat the animals. Run run from this location! I will never shop at any Petco ever again.

Smelly, but organized. The cashier asked for a phone number, we were from out of town so we said "no" - he said "No Problem - What's your name" and proceeded to sign us up for a card until I said we don't have on near us at home. Pretty sneaky....

Whenever I take my dog to get groomed they see her right away. And they are so kind and patience everytime they service her.

Great store in a good location. Staff is mostly friendly and aisles are well stocked. Online order with a store pickup is a great convenience.

Stock is low for some dog food items so expect that you may not get everything you need. Otherwise the store is clean and orderly.

I go here to get frozen mice for my snakes, and occasionally items for my hamster or guinea pigs. They're happy to check for items if you call ahead as well.

Great place and awesome people that really care about your pet. They have products that they stand behind. Is it really awesome that they additionally have a station where you can wash your dog. My dogs always love coming here, even on bath day!

This by far is the worst grooming experience ever. I dropped my dog off at noon (with an appointment I might add) to be called at 4:15 from them to tell me he was whimpering and was unsure if they could complete. Then went to pick him up at 5:30 and they said they did not cut his hair, cut his nails, or really provide any grooming services. Stated he whined when being dried off by a towel and if you own a dog you probably know that he was playing. Do not waste your money or your time with these grooming services as it is evident they have never handled a dog in their life!!

If Google allows me to give a 0 star, I will do so. This petco store was the best store in Raleigh where staffs like Kelly and Morgan treated me really well. It takes 20 minutes from my house to the store. I was always happy to drive a long way to this store to buy stuffs. However, today, July 13, I experienced an extremely poor customer service by a representative named Christian. We went to the store to swap a dead fish for my uncle and wanted to buy some fish for myself. The guy Christian did not give advice but lectured us about tank size and how to care for fish. Then, he told another representative to not sell us fish. Christian had a really rude manner when talking to us that totally made us mad. He even said "he doesn't care whether I will give more negative or positive customer services later". After an argument, the guy kicked us out of the store. After this terrible experience, I will consider future shopping for my pets somewhere else. Terrible customer service by the guy named Christian. (0 star for customer service)

Bringing your pet to the grooming salon here is like taking your pet to be tortured. What happened to the nice people that was there before? Everyone is new and the don't know what they doing. My poor Charley looks better before he when there.

Great store in a great location. We adopted the sweetest cat from here in addition to finding everything we need for my elderly dog and my pet frog. Great staff and selection. Prices are reasonable aswell.

No one at the front, no one at the register, no one at the grooming shop, and they blame me for being late and cancelled my appointment. Worst customer service ever!

I hadn't been in this store in about a year. I don't know what the horrible smell in there is, but it made me nauseous. The store appears clean, so it was strange. Other than that, the staff was witch to help and very friendly. Pretty sure I'll avoid it from now on.

I brought my dog in on 05/04/2021, and I am still waiting on a callback, about the fact that the groomer cut my dog's ear and did something to his eye. I called and was told to run saline in his eye. I didn't want to do that, because I didn't know what was wrong. I had to take my dog to the Thrive (VET), 6 days later, and found that his ears (both) had been cut, while he was getting a cut. It was not reported. When I called them, they told me that nothing was wrong. I asked her what happened to his eye. HIs eye had no debris in it. His eye was swollen and needed medication. I called to request to speak with a manager to file a formal complaint and to request my refund for the butchering hair cut and for his medical bill. it's been about 5 days, and I still haven't heard from them. They just refuse to call me back, address what happened to my lil man. They've not shown no care about what happened to my baby. So, DO NOT GO HERE! It's been 14 days and no call or response. That's way to long. His eye is better, but not better. Ridiculous!

It's really odd? The store is open to the public.... their cash register works ...but their bathrooms are broken because of covid. Unbelievable
