Great Animal Hospital, they saved my dogs life and I am forever thankful. They are professional and explain everything clearly, you can rely on them should an emergency occur. They have great wellness plans for care on a budget. I will use this vet for as long as I live in the Raleigh area and you should too. They also have contactless drop off, should you want to go that route. I know that offer doggy day care, I believe they have grooming services—everything you need for your furry friend under one roof. We are in a great area for veterinary medicine already with the NC State veterinary section of the university in our backyards but the greatness really shines at Care First as corny as that sounds, it’s true.

We love care first! I always feel like my dogs are cared for and safe and happy, whether they are there for boarding, day care, routine care or procedures. The extended hours are so helpful for working pet parents! We could not be happier with care first!

I love CareFirst! They have done a phenomenal job caring for me and my babies. I have two beautiful cats (Jace and Jalen) and CareFirst always goes the extra mile to ensure that we are comfortable and taken care of. Jace had a fever and major lethargy recently and Dr.Gittings made sure that me and my boy received the appropriate care in a timely manner. Dr Gittings even called me after hours to inform me of Jaces blood results and the next best steps. My boy is healthy and happy again! I will most certainly be bringing Jalen in for her next checkup and round of shots and tests. Jesse and Dylan are also amazing at caring for me and the babies! The prices here are also very affordable and reasonable and the staff here never try to upswell you on anything you don’t need. Give them a try and you’ll see. I am a first time puppy/dog owner. They have a very affordable puppy plan that has allowed me excellent service without busting my budget. Great friendly staff.

The best for vet services

I was searching for someplace to bring my sheepadoodle on a Sunday when he woke up limping badly. I scoured reviews and finally found Carefirst Glenwood. Dr Karoly and Linzi were amazing. They listened intently, were very gentle with my dog and didn’t order unnecessary tests. All of these were quite refreshing from past emergency vet visits. This isn’t the closest facility to me but I will always make the drive after this experience. Thank you Dr Karoly and Linzi!

I will not take my babies anywhere except to Care First Glenwood! I have an 11 year old Shih Tzu/Bichon mix and a 4 month old goldendoodle. Staff is always knowledgeable and friendly. The doctors take their time and explain everything to you, and lay out all options and pricing before moving forward. Staff members even call after the appointment to check up to see how everything is going. This is the best vet office I have been to. We have moved away to Cary, and I still drive my dogs to this office. While they may be a bit pricier than some, it is well worth it!

I have been going to Care First on Glenwood for several years now and I am never disappointed. They always take great care of my dog and I continue to bring her here despite living an hour away from Raleigh now. We most recently saw Dr. Gittings and she was amazing. When I had a follow up question a few days later she got back to me quickly and was able to give advice over the phone. Their PetDesk app is also super helpful. I can make appointments and keep up with all of my pet’s medical history. Care First updates your pets vaccination profile and sends reminders when something is due. I highly recommend this place.

My caring vets for my pets for over 20 years. Friendly, attentive techs. Vets are always very knowlegeable of all of Lenny, Stewie and Raven's every needs. Mama found a winner for her babies????????????

Elvis loves going there to board; I rarely drop him off since he gets carsick, but enjoyed 2 nights, playtime and camp due to my important con calls. He loves playtime with other dogs since he’s an only child. I trust very few businesses to keep my favorite child in the whole world. ! The Vets are wonderful too. Ours is Dr. Lisa, amazing!

My trust was broken badly by other vets this year and I was scared of taking my cats to the vet after. I took my two kitties pippen and jojo here after they caught a cold and they are amazing. Even though it wasn’t anything too serious they made us feel important and listened to everything we had to say, and even called and checked up on them. Will only be using this office from here on out!

Love this facility with the employees. Great place to get your pets seen here. They don't push extra things for your pets, they listen to you and the concerns about your own pets.

The staff is awesome. Excellent customer service. They have been taking care of my furry children for over 30 years. Dr. Gordon has a knack for getting the best and most caring vets and staff.

From the moment you call or walk in you know that you and your pet are very important. We have had this experience over and over again. Recently our dog was brutally attacked by a large bully dog. I called and they immediately said to come on in. They were there waiting for us to arrive. Every time I called the call was treated with importance. There are not enough good descriptors to tell you how well we were taken care of. Every employee is courteous, clean and has a smile on their face and listen intently to what you have to say. They are an amazing team!

Jesse was very good with fen. He is a very shy dog but warmed up to Jesse towards the end. After visiting several vet offices in the area and being disappointed this has been the best on I have experienced.

The staff is very friendly, accommodating and caring. I love the option of having a preventive health plan for my injury prone pup. We drive over a half hr to continue to have our pup cared for at this location.

We brought our foster dog here to be neutered and checked for heartworms, etc. They checked us in (and out) promptly and were great with our 75 pound pup! They were also great about sending all the records to the Rescue and to us. Since then, we’ve called them several times to ask questions. The staff at this place is amazing! They are always so kind, informative and willing to help. If we didn’t live so far from this location, we would start bringing our two dogs here. I would recommend them to anyone in the Raleigh area!

Dr. Butler was very knowledgeable and caring. She gave me some great tips on helping Dora stay fit.

Such great vets here! My Dachshund has gone to Dr. Butler for rehab and she also used her expertise and got a second opinion without me even asking from one of their surgeons on his leg that had an infected surgery site that had turned into a septic joint, she was such an advocate for my dog to getting his leg healed and finding out about the septic joint and I’ve never had a vet go so above and beyond and really save my dog, and also check in on my dog as well to see how he is doing, just the best experience! Also, have used other vets there who are great for general items like ear infection, teeth cleaning, and the vets have been so nice, caring and smart. Front desk staff and techs are also so friendly.

Absolutely recommend Care First Glenwood! I’ve been bringing my puppy here over the course of the pandemic (over a year now) and have been totally satisfied each time. They are incredibly knowledgeable and willing to answer any and all questions about my pup’s health. The staff is also super friendly and responsive with scheduling appointments and any other needs you might have. Dr. Gittings is an amazing vet, and I’ve already recommended her to a couple of friends.
