Have been a pet owner my entire life. Have been to several vets in the area over the past 22 years. Dr. Weshefsky is one of the best Veterinarians I have ever met. Micki is by far the best tech to ever treat any of my pets. She is dedicated, knowledgeable and passionate about taking care of animals. Thank you for taking care of our very sick fur baby.

We recently moved to town and have not had a chance to establish care for our 1 year old puppy. She had a sudden turn in health this week and we wanted to have her evaluated by a local veterinarian. Animal Care Center was able to work us in the very next day between appointments. Greatly appreciate their care in getting sick animals in! Dr. Stelma saw our pup for a comprehensive exam and evaluation. He was very thorough and diligent in his workup on our poor girl and helped us hone in on potential causes of her recent illness. He clearly cares for his patients and their families. A great practitioner who excels at his work and does it with kindness, grace, and compassion is often hard to find. Thankful to have met Dr. Stelma and Sydney who were so diligent in caring for our girl today and helping her get on the mend. Glad we have found a local veterinarian to rely on now! Highly recommend this local business and the excellent care they provide for all animals.

I had read rave reviews on this animal care center so with having newly adopted a very young dog I decided to try them. They were extremely booked out but found me a recently cancelled slot. They are professional and caring. My puppy was very much at ease there and loved Dr. Leslie. She gathered what information we could provide as newly adopted parents and listed to any concerns we had and answered any of our questions. Never once were we rushed. It was a very positive experience. I would recommend Animal Care Center to anyone with a pet.

Animal care is the best veterinary hospital in craven county. The doctors to me are perfect. Especially I want to thank Dr Stelma who has been taking care of my pets for exactly 23 years and still gets down on the floor with my fur babies. In my eyes he is number 1. The staff are very friendly and help you in every way they can. Thank you animal care for being there for my babies in their times of special needs.

Dr Stelma and his team took excellent care of my doodle puppy, Loki. Loki was having diarrhea for almost a week and we were able to narrow down the source in just one visit. He will be back for his last puppy shots since we like this place so much. Prices are reasonable and we are so happy we found this place. We will be transferring our other dogs to this office.

Extremely friendly, helpful staff. Very genuine, caring and knowledgeable as well. Treated my dogs like their own. I've only been twice but will definitely continue to bring my dogs there.

Animal Care Center is Definitely Above average.... The staff is extremely professional, They All care about treating the Animals with respect and dignity!!! I have called and left messages which are promptly returned . The atmosphere is clean AND Friendly ( Even when it is SO Busy And hectic There are Always Smiles and happiness which is contagious ) We feel very comfortable bringing our 2 Dogs there as we count on the friendliness , Professionalism, And compassion .... I would definitely recommend this Veterinary Clinic to those who are young/ Modern, Middle Age And More mature.....Pets And People!!! Usually great place. Been my vet for 25 years. Lately they're understaffed with no room for acute issues. Probably best for wellness care only

We are new to the area, and needed a vet right away. This vet had an opening the next day, so we took it. They told us we would be checking-in in the parking lot. Ok, that’s great - makes sense with a pandemic. Although, when we were greeted, he didn’t have a mask on. He came to the car 3x before I politely asked for him to put on a mask, and he did. There were other personnel without mask as well. This is a state mandate. We are wearing mask for them, why would they not for us. Customers should not have to ask for their safety for vet personnel to wear PPE. At this point, I want my dog seen, but we will not be back due to the disregard of other’s health and the lack being aware of the current global crisis. The vet was nice enough, it was the professionalism of the staff during this time.
