Staff are great to work with!! Prices for adoptions are a little high. Lots of animals there that need their forever home.

Adopted a sweet two-year-old pup from BCFFA this week and couldn't have been more pleased with the experience! Everyone I interacted with was kind, compassionate, and focused on the wellbeing of each animal. I would adopt from them again in a heartbeat. So grateful for the work they do!

Got my little man about a week ago. I could not have asked for a better friend. Everyone there was so nice during the whole process and they answered any questions I had. Before I knew I want to adopt I called and spoke with someone on the phone. She was so very kind and answered all my questions. The are very calm and let you take your time in meetings/seeing all the ones for adoption. My whole experience in getting my sweet boy was amazing and I could have not picked a better place. Thank you everyone!

Good spot to view animals for adoption Clean, smells good, people are nice. They no longer have a play room you can use to see how dogs respond, but do have a fenced area to walk them in a wooded spot. People are nice. Didn't find a dog, but I'm still looking

Ive always loved volunteering & helping with all the animals. There always in need of volunteers,walk dogs in 2 different fenced in play areas help clean stales & kettles help feed Please Please if ya can help out than Volentiere for a couple hrs or hafe day but a day with all the wonderful dogs they will steel your heart so many sweet playful dogs that need all the support u can give them if can donate bag food please do,,,God bless you if ya do.

The people are so nice and Helpful, my pup got sick that I adopted and they took good care of him and got him well and I took him back home on my Birthday, best present ever! Thank you so much.

Omgosh I LOVE this place !! They helped me find my puppy daughter Sansa ????. The staff were very knowledgeable, kind and patient they answered all of my questions. You could tell they loved and cared for the animals. They took care of the animals. Kept up to date on shots. They was clean, they also let us visit our fur baby the day before and let us walk her at there pet park . :)

Love these folks. The facility is super clean, the animals look well cared for and the staff was great... After losing our 12 year old pup we decided it was time to be saved by a new pup. We found Jimmy our newest edition to the family. He is perfect for us and seems to be adjusting well. We can feel the much needed joy coming back into our lives. The staff were very Welcoming Courteous. the animals all looked Great well taken care for and the Kennels were so Clean . I had many options if a dig to pick. I originally wanted a German Shepherd . Adopted a mini medium dog to give a great life of forever love too! I'm so Happy and New name COCOA is so Blessed???? Thanks

While this is definitely a rural shelter, they are top notch in caring for their animals. And when I have gone in to look to adopt, they are never in a hurry, they will take all the time I need to show me dog after dog, answer questions, etc. Kind and compassionate staff.

Burke county friends for animals has really turned around in the past couple years. I about my dog Marlee from here 3 years ago. The staff is super friendly and willing to answer questions.
