We had to have Joe our family cat put to sleep today. Dr>Stutesman was very open, honest and professional. He allowed me all the time I needed to spend with Joe as we said our goodbyes. It was a very difficult day but thank you to Village Animal for helping to make Joe comfortable.

Village is just awesome, they were able to see my cat quickly and actually listened to me! They took my cats symptoms seriously and double checked test results to find out he has worms that mooresville animal hospital denied either of my cats having! He's getting treated properly now for a really reasonable price, many thanks from me and my kitties. Very kind staff, my cat was handled very gently and thoughtfully, and great at explaining our options. Best vet visit i've had in years

With having a high maintenance breed like a bulldog, I have had the opportunity to experience the full range of the office's services, from routine vaccination and grooming to surgery and recovery. Dr. Stutesman and the entire staff had made each interaction exceptional, even when the circumstances have been grim. My family has always felt welcome and my pets (I have cats also) have received amazing care. I recommend them with the highest praise.

My cat is extremely shy and afraid and almost impossible to get into a cage. I had to cancel my appointment and was told to bring her in whenever I could get her caged. I went in today and received prompt and professional service, with no appointment. Thank you to Dr. Jones and all staff!

During this terrible pandemic. My lil Lucy girl was at the end of her amazing journey. I wanted to have a in home euthanasia. But due to my location it was not possible. Village animal hospital was my lil girls primary vet. I wanted her to pass at our house but that was not a option anymore. Village animal hospital provided the BEST CARE POSSIBLE IN MY LIL LUCY GIRLS FINAL MOMENTS. amazing people and amazing care. Im am in their debt for the rest of my life. I cant recommend this amazing vet office enough.

Love staff and doc! We have been patients at this location for seven years. We had a 17 yr old poodle that they were wonderful with us and him. End of life they really supported us thr it. We waited a while then got a new baby in. He had multiple health issues which they had the expertise to help him with. At nine months old he walked with pain. X-rays showed degenerative hip bone. Doc removed ball and degenerative bone. Sunny ( our dog) came home, recovered from surgery and runs around like normal. He hikes the leg up while running occasionally, but no pain! COVID procedures great..you drive up, call in, they mask and you mask and they come to your car.

This is the best vet in Mooresville. Its 39 degrees and windy and Dr Stutsman is outside talking to the hoomans about their furbabies. He just talked to us after he walked him to our car.

Village animal hospital is absolutely wonderful. We’ve been going to them for five years now and have always felt welcomed and know that our fur babies are well taken care of. When we lost our Aussie, Dr Stutesman personally gave us his cell phone number to call anytime, he checked in on us on several occasions. It meant so much to us knowing how much the staff cared.

We have an older dog that has just been diagnosed diabetes, so we started looking for a new vet and came across Village Animal hospital. Today was our 1st appointment and we were impressed. From the moment we walked in we felt welcome. The whole staff is friendly and generally sweet. I loved that they had a welcome sign with our dogs name on it welcoming him. We have to leave our dog there for the day and I left feeling very comfortable leaving him there, I know they will take great care of him, we are happy we found this place. Thank you!

We recently had to have our beloved dog Peaches put to rest. She was a huge part of our lives for over 12 years. Dr. Stutesman and the staff at Village Animal Hospital were so very kind and helped us through this painful time. I will always recommend this office to everyone!

Thank you to the caring staff at Village Animal Hospital for the wonderful care they provided for our senior dogs during our evacuation from the coast due to Florence. Our week stay in Mooresville was a lot less stressful knowing they were in good hands. They kindly accepted our pets and discounted our stay for 3 dogs.

Really appreciate how thorough Dr. Chance Stutesman was with our labradoodle Wrigley. Definetly took the time to check him out and make sure he was healthy and cared for. Appreciate his care and friendliness.

We had to put my loving dog cassie to sleep Friday. She had Cancer all over. I just want to thank the vet and staff for being so loving and kind to cassie as well as myself and family. This was the hardest thing we ever had to do and they were so kind and compassionate to us . We highly recommend this veterinarian hospital to everyone. We will be back someday..

We first met Dr. Stutesman when bringing our dog in for an emergency visit, after which we learned he would need surgery. Dr. Stutesman was incredibly patient and attentive with us and our many questions throughout the process, which he always explained thoroughly. We have recently seen Dr. Newman as well with a newly adopted dog, and I also recommend her highly. She was very enthusiastic and our dog, who was still typically apprehensive towards strangers, loved her. Our first visit to Village Animal Hospital was with Dr. Moretz, and as wonderful as he was, I am glad to say that both Dr. Stutesman and Dr. Newman have not been a step down in the slightest.

Great local vet. They also offer specialized surgical care that I couldn't find at any other local vets.

In March we chose Village Animal Hospital for our new puppy's care. We were 5 star pleased and have been until today. Today our 9 month old, 84 pound German Shepherd was there for a tech visit to get his K9 Bordetella booster and get his nails trimmed. He was taken to a room with a cat being treated on the opposite table in the same room. Many German Shepherds are aggressive towards cats. Thankfully ours is not, but the staff (who hadn't handled our dog before) did not know his temperament. If I were the cat owner I would be very upset at this scenario. Previously the tech staff gave him peanut butter on a stick and he licked it while they trimmed his nails. This time they felt he should be muzzled and held down on the floor by 3 people to trim them. Not a good experience at all. One of the techs even said "I didn't sign up for this today!" Very unprofessional. Our dog is not aggressive at all but their treatment certainly encourages aggressive responses which we cannot allow. The staff gave us the feeling that they wanted to get it over with instead of providing a good experience. We never felt this way when Dr Moritz was there. His staff always said thank you and sent the dog away with a treat. We are now in the process of looking for a new vet in the area.

This hospital is clean, fast and very caring to our pets. I would highly recommend this hospital

I have relied on this hospital for YEARS and now Dr Moretz is Leaving and Dr.Lusk. Today they did not mix the CLAVAMOX at all and they always do even the TECH told me she should had mixed it and they made me pay for it again even though …

Caring staff that gives you time to get all questions answered. Our dog is happy to go see her vet and techs. Front desk staff are always friendly and helpful.

We are very thankful for all of the staff at Village Animal Hospital! Everyone welcomes Solo with open hearts and open arms. They have taken such good care of her, we will forever be grateful for the love and care that our sweet Solo gets at each and every visit.

Great doctors, great staff! We switched to Village Animal Hospital after meeting Dr. Warren at a health fair. They treat your pet like their own, and we very up front regarding needs, concerns, and costs. I highly recommend them for all of you vet needs! They even sent us a personalized welcome postcard, something you won't even get from your regular doctor!

Dr. Moretz and his staff has cared for our pets for 12 years. They have treated us like family, and we appreciate all they have done to keep our two dogs healthy their whole lives. Recently, we made the tough decision to lay our nearly 15 year old dog Merlin to rest, and we couldn't be more thankful for the guidance and the gentleness they extended to our family and to Merl. Very beautiful hospital, highly trained staff and great veterinarians!

We consider our standard poodles to be our "kids," and look for healthcare providers accordingly. After relocating from Arizona to the Mooresville area a year ago we struggled to find a vet that could replace our much-appreciated AZ vet. After trying 2 others we finally landed on Village Animal Hospital and are delighted! The entire staff is friendly, caring, and obvious animal lovers. Whenever visiting we feel welcome and that our kids are getting excellent care. Highly recommend these folks - it's not just a business - they really love animals!
