Owner is extremely knowledgeable. Multiple dogs on site that are very well behaved and appear to be taken care of very well. My family picked out our newest addition to our family today. She is very sweet and full of energy. The owner let us play with the pups while we made our choice and was very patient with my very energetic 5 year old son. I wanted to say thank you to Mark ! I have a almost 1 yr old lab that I wanted to get more Obedience training then what I could do on my own . Baylee stayed for two weeks and came home a new pup ! I am very pleased of the training she received and the love and attention she also received while there. I would recommend mark for any dog at any level of obedience !

Mark worked with our young "Stubborn" German Shorthair Pointer "Reagan" while boarding for a few weeks. When we came back, it was to a COMPLETELY different dog. One that listens, and obey's orders. Mark and his family kept our Golden Retriever for 5 days while we were away for Thanksgiving. In the 5 days he was there we also had Mark to train him on a leash. When we picked our baby up we met them at Tractor Supply and Mark trained us! Our dog went from pulling us all over the place to walking on a leash with commands. We are truly amazed at the progress he made in just 5 days!! We can now take him places with confidence knowing that we can control him and he can be a part of the fun!

We have had Pepper for 3 years now, and he is one of the smartest and loving dogs we have ever encountered. From the day we picked him up from One Oak he has been our dog child. Pepper can sit, jump, crawl, shake, balance anything on his nose, bow, perch on my arm with front paws, dance, kiss, and several other tricks just to name a few. Not only do you get the results you are looking for with your dog's training, you also get a very trustworthy caregiver. We could not be happier with Mark and One Oak Kennels! We brought our new rescue for the board and train 2 week program and Mark was able to teach her all the basic obedience commands (she did not know her name or any commands at drop off). She now walks beautifully on the leash and doesn't pull at all, is able to stay, and is an overall better listener! All without using a shock collar! One Oak Kennels did an amazing job training my dog. Mark gave me constant updates with her progress and made sure that she would follow my commands as well.

Our dog went for a 2 week obedience class. During this time she lived with Mark and his family in the house and not in a kennel. He trained her every day and we were able to go visit when we wanted. I feel like she came back a more well behaved and calmer 8 month old Doberman puppy. After bringing her home she is doing great and obeys but still has her spunky personality. We will definitely be returning for more advanced training after she is a year old. Mark truly cares about animals and has a passion for what he does.

I got my lab, Ralph, from Mark and have been nothing but impressed. In the little bit I worked with Ralph, he picked up on stuff very quickly. I wasn’t able to put the time in to fully train him so I got him back down to Mark. After a few short weeks Ralph will now follow commands on and off leash. I can really tell a huge difference.
