I called Tuesday morning to see if they could see my dog sooner than I had my appointment for because she was in terrible pain and was told I would have to call somewhere else because they didn't have availability. I am canceling my scheduled appointment and will not be back.

Always thorough, comforting care at Mebane Veterinary Hospital - my cats arrive anxious after the drive but leave relaxed and happy, having received their needed treatment from friendly staff and gentle doctors. Dr Brady has a wonderful way with animals and is very attentive to their needs and any indicator of changes to their normal presentation, with decades of experience treating everything from farm dogs and barn cats to the most pampered indoor pets. Too often I wish she worked on people as well!

I was traveling to care for an elderly relative in Mebane and forgot to bring my dog’s antibiotics. Their office was kind enough to contact my vet and provide me with meds for my dog to last through my visit. I am so thankful for their kindness!

My family and I have been going here for 12 years at least and never had any bad service. The veterinarians and nurses are all so sweet, compassionate, and professional. Our vet is Dr. Ann Brady DVM. She's always so incredible. She even came to our house to put down one of our boys (he was 13 years 11 months and 3 weeks old and very sick but he lived a full beautiful life). She explained every step of the process and answered every question with a calm, quiet compassion. She comforted us and our boy as he left this world. Also good to note the staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. They even know how to calm a first time pet parent ???? I very highly recommend this place! They love your fur babies like you do!

I had to go through something all pet owners dread, saying goodbye to my beautiful Kitty Sierra! They were understanding, loving and very caring through this horrible time and made the process as painless as possible for me and my sweety Sierra. Thank you so much for being an amazing Vet! We have used mebane veterinary for five years, last Saturday carried my dog for severe leg problem, they would not see her without appointment, found out later she had a torn acl. Never go to this place if you care about your pet.

Every time I have a puppy emergency, they fit me in and take amazing care of my pups. I always expect a huge bill but the prices are extremely reasonable, you don't feel like you are being overcharged or charged for unnecessary tests. I really like this place. The staff is phenomenal.

Have been going to Mebane Veterinary Hospital since 2009 and the people there are super, knows what they're doing & appointments are usually on time (unless there's an rare unexpected emergency). This is understandable (just as at a doctor's office) & has happened only once with me. While Dr Brady has been there since I started going & I presume the owner (this was before the nice remodel), there's been a few other doctors to come and go. However, have had great experiences with all of the doctors & staff, no issues whatsoever. They truly care for the animals & the atmosphere is in the air as soon as walking through the door. Best price around too, this clinic is one exception to the rule of 'you get what you pay for'. The prices are the most reasonable of any veterinarian in the area (to include all of Alamance County). I highly recommend Mebane Veterinary Hospital to anyone with a pet to receive the best care. They send text messages to remind of upcoming needs, for me, this is good to have.

I took my dog here ONE time. I had called prior for 2 specific vaccines my dog needed and got the prices. I budget to the dollar and was on hard times financially. During the appointment, the doctor took my dog away from me to "perform more tests". I didn't think anything of it, not like I was given the choice to say "no" anyways. When they returned my dog to me and it was time to check out, they charged me for the services that I did not ask for. I did not have the money available to pay for said services. I asked if there was a payment plan to pay for said services. They coldly told me that all services must be paid in full before leaving. I am very disappointed with how they treated my dog, and how they treated my financial situation. DO NOT TAKE YOUR FUR BABIES HERE! They don't care about your loved ones, they only care about making money!

We have been going to this vet for years. Our pets have been well cared for. I appreciate their calm demeanor and how they handle issues as they arise.

My dog had to have her ear removed due to a bad infection. She doesn't normally like strangers, but she seemed to like Dr. Brady and the staff of Mebane Vet Hospital. Dr. Brady also did a wonderful job removing my dog's ear. I will definitely be bringing all of my dogs to Dr. Brady for all of their veterinary needs in the future!

Dr Brady is a caring and compassionate vet and has a lot of experience in the field. She is great with the owners and the animals. However, she did misdiagnose a lump in the scruff of my dogs neck during an initial evaluation. After having done a fine needle biopsy she determined the lump was not cancerous and advised to consider having the lump removed if it continued to get bigger. Well it continued to get bigger, so I scheduled to have the lump removed. Prior to surgery Dr Brady came to the conclusion that the lump was indeed a mast cell tumor and that it had started to spread to areas around the initial lump At this point my options were palliative care or treatment at a vet oncologist. My dog was 13 years old so I chose to just provide palliative care. My dog lived another 2 months or so after the cancer diagnosis. I would love to give this facility a 5 star rating because Dr Brady and the staff were very caring and professional....but the misdiagnosis did happen and my dog did pass a couple of months later. There is no way of knowing if the misdiagnosis led to my eventually having to put him down as I'm not sure whether, at the point of the initial biopsy, the cancer was isolated or had already spread. In any event I think Dr Brady is a competent vet and would definitely recommend her. That being said there was still an initial misdiagnosis of a biopsy, which was very unfortunate for all parties involved.
