Petco Kannapolis, North Carolina

We went to this pet store basically for ferret food and a fish tank for a beta glowfish. First off they had two ferrets that were trashing their environment lol. There was a large selection of saltwater fish along with tanks and plants to place in their environment. There wasn't much of a selection of ferret food, don't like Marshall ferret food. They actually had reptiles and such there were tarantula's , snakes and even some blind gheckos. The associate that helped us out with fish food and talked us into and aquarium with a heater for our beta lol she checked us out and even found us some discounts. The only reason I kept a star was all the stock still on carts all over.

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about fish

The stock is a little limited because the store is so small, but they're really nice and knowledgeable here. The discount book is in the back by the pet beds. ????

When we were in the store no one asked if they could help us. They offered everyone around us help so we left. My grandchildren were upset because they thought they weren't going to get a fish.

Meg is an absolute blessing to deal with. Glad to see this store is full of kind and caring people.

You didn't have the cat litter that I drove 30 miles to purchase. So I had to settle for a different one.

This is the worst petco I have ever been to. The staff is RUDE as can be and the store is always a mess. The girl working in fish Lisa I think her name is was nice and sweet and I could tell she was trying but wasn’t given the right tools to work with. Everyone else though is always super rude and never wants to help. They stand around talking even though the store is a mess. I went here last year and it was a completely different store and a different staff but they were so much better. Do better petco. This is just sad. Seems like you lost all your good employees. I hate to leave bad reviews but this place has just gotten worse each time I go in. Hopefully it might do something but I doubt it.

Never has product on shelf . Never can find my dog treats. They move them. Just dirty.

Great people with lots of knowledge unfortunately limited to what they can do dor their animals due to company restrictions.

I go in here to buy dog food. Had to stand and wait a while to pay while one woman was trying to take help a customer with questions about a harness. Finally about 10 minutes later 2 other employees came up front to help. Who knows where they were at. She had requested for them to come help but it took them too long.

hmmm.. manager [i believe the womans name was kelly-anne, she was extremely rude to me and had an attitude with me and the young girl running the register. young girl running register was very kind. products i got were good quality

Great place to shop. At any location. Although prices aren't to much different than Petsmart. But Grooming is better!!

I have visited this store twice and each time it was hard to find an associate member for assistance. On my last & final visit I had to ask a cashier for assistance only to be given false information & a referral to another store. Then to make matters worse, while I was speaking to the cashier she interrupts me to speak with another customer who could of received assistance from the other cashier next to her who was free to assist. I will gladly go to another pet store with friendlier and helpful staff but if Petco is a self service store please let us know as your staff doesn't like to help customers.

I went to the store in Kannapolis to get a bag of dog food. They did not have any on the shelf but there was a bag on a pallet that was the 2nd bag down. I asked Megan and Keaton the customer service service people if they would get the bag for me. They informed me that I would have to come back in the morning to get the bag of dog food. I make a point not to go out a lot due to The covid pandemic. They were unwilling to help me.

Horrible service. I'm writing this review in my car in the parking lot. It was that bad. For some reason I had to wait for the cashier to reopen the doors I early walked in moments ago.

The staff was friendly and helpful, and I can usually find what I need there. I like the variety of items and the store was clean and organized well.

I had been to two other pet stores and could not find what I was looking for, even though their websites said the item was in stock. I went to Petco and found exactly what I needed! The staff was AMAZING and I got a great price!

Good for doggie outfits but food and treats seem to be much higher priced than other pet stores.

Did not have quite as much as I'd hoped and when shelf tags don't match ring up price it is frustrating and costly.

Young and rookie cashiers should be trained better, even he was a temp. Making fun of a distressed elderly costumer isn't right. Especially in front of other costumers. This happened in August but this in my mind. Do not wish to go back anytime soon to this location.

Need better customer service. 07/31/2021Today was another bad way of displaying customer service. We always try to shop here, but we are never greeted, and every time at the register we get stale communication. If it wasn't for convenience of where I stay. I will not shop here. I mean we was standing at the register and no one said anything until people started coming behind us. One employee talking to someone by the register and another just standing there looking. You know you have a line stop talking and get the line down. Boy I hate coming here
