Healing Paws is one of the best veterinary hospitals! Everyone was so polite and professional. Dr. Brewer and Dr. Scott were extremely knowledgeable about both my Calico cat and our new puppy Hawkeye. We are lucky to have their establishment in our Hillsborough community.

We were super pleased with the care our Syrian hamster, Cashew, received. It can be tough to find a vet that is experienced with small animals (we live in Alamance County). Cashew only needed a simple service, but he can be a bit squirmy and shy. We were very happy when the vet tech said he was on his best behavior. Apparently, these folks were able to put him at ease :) We will definitely be using Healing Paws going forward for Cashew and any other future pets. Thanks so much for caring for our hammy!

We have taken our dog(s) to Healing Paws for the last several years. On recent visits Dr. Hodinka has taken care of us. He is thoughtful, thorough, and a good communicator. He is also careful not to push additional tests if they are unlikely to lead to a change in care.

They helped us with the end of life of our beloved 13 year old English mastiff Princess. They exercised compassion and their knowledge was very comforting to my family at a very difficult time. When we decided to get another mastiff puppy. We choose to bring Daisy there as well. Our experience there made it a no brainer.

This was my first visit to Healing paws. I was very impressed with the attention they gave me and my dog. They made me feel comfortable and went above and beyond to answer all of my questions. I really appreciate the individual attention.

So caring and kind to both me and my pup. Dr. Scott was very thorough and took so much time easing my concerns after my 3yr old labradoodle had a seizure. They had me come to the office immediately with him and did the work up. I can’t thank them enough!

Our senior dog has multiple issues due to aging. Dr McLean is thorough in her examinations and addressed all of our concerns. She offered options for care and allowed us to decide if/when we want suggested treatment without judgement. We believe that our pet has been able to age gracefully thanks to Dr McLean.

Dr. Mari McLean is the most compassionate and understanding veterinarian I have ever met in all my 50+ plus years of having animal companions. She has that very rare gift of professional expertise combined with an insightful wisdom about what your animals truly needs. I cannot recommend her highly enough! I would never take my animals anywhere else other than Healing Paws!

I love this veterinary practice from the front desk staff to the vet techs and assistants and the veterinarians. I've got quite a few pets of my own and I also foster dogs so I've had the pleasure of bringiing my animals here quite often. The physical space is clean and bright, the team members are all pleasant, engaging, and focused on helping both your pet and you. Many times they've gone above and beyond to ensure my pets have been seen as quickly as possible. The science supporting their care is spot on, up-to-date and you just can't beat the compassion and competence of the entire team! I highly recommend them!

In all the years I’ve owned pets and all the vets I’ve visited , this is top notch! So incredibly professional from the moment you walk in the door ,such a kind and caring staff. My dog Vinny recently had surgery there, I was so overwhelmed with it and they made it so easy on me , their caring surgical team were so kind with all my questions and phone calls. I thank you from the bottom of my heart the care you gave to my boy,I would definitely recommend Healing Paws to anyone ????????????

I have been exceedingly happy with the care they have given my animals over the past few years. They are busy, because they get recommended so highly, but they always find a way to see your pet when there is an urgent need.

My cat (Ethel) can be a bit of a monster at the vet, but Dr. Hodinka and staff knew exactly how to handle her to make the experience way less traumatic for everyone. I've never seen her calmer at a vet's office before, thanks to them coming up with a plan to make this as comfortable of a visit as possible for her. Definitely our best vet experience!

Healing Paws is a great vet, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the doctors and techs that work there are knowledgeable and kind and great with my dog. My doggie is a little scared of people generally but he always does great with everyone who handles him there and doesn't even seem afraid of them at all- they're great with dogs!

I’ve been bringing my cats here for years . I absolutely love the staff and the way the Doctors treat my cats . They care very much about giving the best and if You are on a budget they will work with you to give every bit of care they possibly can . My cat was sick and I told them I was only able to work with 200$ and my cats doctor literally did everything humanly possible to give him what he needed. I cannot recommend them enough!

I have a very fear aggressive German Shepherd who is a big handful to manage - he must be muzzled and anethsitized to have anyone touch him for his annual exam and especailly for ear cleanings and nail clipping...he's a 90lb rescue who was badly abused when he was a young dog. He can be highly aggressive being touched by anyone he doesn't know or trust. Dr Welch worked with him beautifully and spent almost 2 hrs with us. I couldn't ask for a more caring and comptetent Vet. Highly recommend this practice! Thank You Healing Paws!

We had a wonderful acupuncture visit with our oldest girl greyhound and Dr McLean and Diamond.

We have been here since day 1 for annual check ups. They are amazing with ability to work in for day time emergencies. They were able to see us immediately for a snake bite. The entire staff from front end to tech to vets are so compassionate.

I can't say enough good about this vet clinic. My vet is Dr. Brewer and she is the most thoughtful, patient and caring vet I have ever had. All the staff is friendly and kind and you really feel like you're part of a family when you come here. I never worry when I bring my pets here because I know they will be taken care and loved. I can't recommend this clinic enough!

This is the best pet hospital in the state. I am glad they are my pups vet. They are always friendly and kind though my pups hate going. My dog broke her dewclaw the other night. They had her in the next morning and she was good to go in 20 minutes.

Despite a sudden downpour, Dr. Carter stood outside under an umbrella near our car (Covid protocol) and patiently explained all about our new puppy's first vet visit. She answered all our questions and even asked if we had others as water dripped on her. The next day, we had a call from the office offering to answer even more questions if we had them. Classy beginning.

We have never been happier with our veterinary care. Mari McLean and her team of vets/assistants CARE -- and you and your pets will know it. They are personal, gentle, clear, and follow up quickly. We have been through some very hard times recently with our pets, and this group of caring professionals has made all the difference. I would give them a zillion stars if I could!
