I think it's safe to assume most of the "positive" reviews are from family and close friends. For a Vet, the doctor clearly wants to do as little as possible. Calling animals "it" and making remarks on how "it should be better trained," or "disciplined." Simply because the dog squirmed as WE, the owners, held her down for the medication. On top of making allegations that the dog was going to bite? When she most definitely was not going to bite anyone. Sounds like someone chose the wrong profession. As a "kid" who walked in there with my brother to get some treatment on our dog, we were much more respectful then the old timer in charge. Other than that the wait was not too bad and the lady in the front was nice. Im not surprised it was so easy to place a booking... with a reputation like that I can see why you have a lot of availability.

They were very helpful and accommodating during our time of emergency, and that took a lot of stress off of our family and new puppy. The staff was super friendly, especially Crystal who spent lots of time answering my questions. Loved their hours of operation and will make this our new go to pet clinic for our new addition to our family!!

This vet is outstanding! Stephanie and Chrystal at the front desk were so good with my dog Charlie and really seem to care. Dr Haggerty is really great too!

There were some miscommunications as I was told to come in early and drop off my cat but when I got there no one was there and the operator on the hotline said she had no way to reach anyone. It turned out okay as they called back once they were open and were able to treat my cat. A little bit of a wait but overall satisfied with their service.

Very compassionate and professional. I really appreciated detailed explanations of my pet's needs and also received a detailed estimate of the costs for what he would need in the future, so no surprises.

According to the reviews very few people like Stephanie. She is intentionally rude and lied about me requesting services so she could charge me extra. She has to be kin to the doctor because he seems genuinely bad about her behavior without having to say a word. Get it together Stephanie. Next person might relieve you of all that tude!

I'm new to the area and brought my cat in for an emergency. The staff made sure my cat was seen immediately and the vet was very compassionate and experienced. He answered all my questions and took very good care of my cat. This is going to become our regular vet!

Stephanie is very rude. Shows no concern or passion for your pet! Not a good choice at all for your pet !!!

Deep River is a very good veterinary clinic. It is close to my old residence, and is never over booked. The prices are fair and the Vet is knowledgeable. My three star review is because of the front desk staff. Without naming those employees, I often found them lacking customer service, attentiveness, and timeliness. I recently called three times to request my dogs documents be faxed over to my new vet clinic, a standard request when changing veterinary clinics. All three times I was given the response that they will complete it now, or soon. After a week, my dogs appointment came up and the new clinic said they had still not recieved the paperwork. My new clinic had to call on the phone to at least verify current shot records before administering immunizations. To slow down your business is one thing, but to slow down another one is not okay. This is why there is a three star review.

Amazing place. At first it doesn't look like much due to a gravel parking lot and older building. This is actually preferable to me because it means lower prices since we don't have to pay for fancy buildings etc. The veterinarian here is wonderful he is friendly and compassionate and truly cares for animals big or small. He listens to all questions and never acts like im stupid even when I probably am lol. Will definitely be taking my puppy here all his life. The staff are wonderful and friendly and are expertly trained you can trust them completely with your fur baby.

This place is very outdated looking on the inside with over grown weeds on the outside. I was a quoted price and when my husband called he was quoted a different price then when I picked my dog up it was a higher price. The front desk did meet me halfway since I was quoted different prices. Also my dog smelled like urine when I picked him up and I had taken him a bath before I dropped him off and he only stayed for 3 days. I don't think I will bring him back.
