such a sweet staff, helped our cat when he unexpectedly had 5 seizures at a late hour. We were so worried about him but our amazing Vet gave us calmness that our kitty was okay. Didn’t quite catch our Dr. or nurses name but they were sweet ladies and our kitty trusted them from the start ❤️

That moment when a pet owner must decide between letting their pet suffer for endless hours and letting them go is a very tough time. Last night at 2:15 AM we made that choice for our rescue dog, Sammy, suffering horribly from diabetes seizures. In all, Sammy had seven long seizures just last night before he was allowed to be free. He had 13 good years on this planet, was loved and spoiled by us. So we had two choices: either make Sammy endure unending seizures wherein he lost all bodily control (and I hope consciousness) that started at 8AM yesterday morning but resumed after a trip to the vet later, with only HOPE that those seizures would end, or have him painlessly euthanized. It was a no-brainer. Special thanks goes out to Dr. Taylor for her compassion, her professionalism, and her spiritual nature. (I heard her say a whispered prayer over Sammy as he took his last breath. I thank her for that.) Now imagine a community where this service ISN'T offered at 3 in the morning and you HAVE to watch your beloved pet suffer all night long! EVERY community needs access to pet emergency services like this. Thanks, Dr. Taylor for everything you do. My wife and I thank you. And Sammy thanks you.

I took my dog here 2 nights ago after he was bitten by a snake. Having never experienced this before, I frantically called here and they had me bring him in. Everyone was very sweet and knowledgeable. I knew that once he was there he was going to get the help he needed. My dog is already recovering very well and I just wanted to say thank you to the staff here!

I brought in a kitten my husband and I took on at about 4 to 5 days old. The staff was amazing overall. Dr. Greenlawn (?) provided very good advice for us since we are first time kitten owners. Our next visit, we have Dr. A... she did great as well. She was very honest about our situation and gave us a clear lay out of what our options were. I highly recommend them! Helped my husband and I ease our worries especially late in the evening. Would totally go back again! They go above and beyond once again. We received our card from the vet regarding our pet. The little things like a card are amazing ❤.

I was visiting Atlantic Beach on vacation when my 13 year old Pomeranian started having some health problems. He unfortunately went downhill fast and we reached out to this pet hospital, who were extremely professional, helpful, and sweet. I don’t know what I would have done without them at this time. Highly recommend.

Last night my beloved lab puppy Gunnar had to be rushed to the doggy ER. He had an obstruction and 100% would have died an awful death without the care of this amazing team. Big shout out to Ashley the nurse for comforting me and listening to me unload about how tough the last few weeks have been. Gunnar is home and resting on the couch with me now. Thank you for saving my baby's life.

Our 13 year old Junior had a fall out of our SUV. After 3 days took him here and Dr. Bobbi saw him had a muscle pull and gave him 5 days of a anti-inflammatory. Excellent care and excellent prices!

We were visiting relatives in Morehead City and our dog Peanut became very sick very fast. The Drs and staff at Emergency Pet Hospital of Craven and Carteret took exception care of Peanut. When my husband left early Saturday morning I wasn’t sure if I would see my girly girl again. She’s only 4 and she was in acute renal failure. She obviously has a long road ahead, but the staff answered EVEY call with care and compassion. Peanut was well enough to bring home Sunday morning and she was up and slowly greeting visitors Monday morning. I can not thank all of the staff and Drs enough for saving my sweet girl. They are an emergency location and they are wonderful at what they do. You can trust them to do everything possible to care for your pet. I hope we never need them again, but if I ever have a sick pet during their business hours I wouldn’t hesitate to trust them with any of our pets.

Helped a lot when my sister's beloved dog passed. Only place in the area that was open and able to help at the time but they were friendly and informative when we really needed it

More about the money than you or your pet. Would have given a zero, but forced to give at least one star

Had my dog in here for lacerations to his muzzle. While it was extensive, the job done did not match the price charged. Suturing lacked skill and were loose and came out within a few days. And he came out looking like the joker. I ended up spending $1600 just to turn around and have all his sutures removed by a reliable vet and re-sutured for another $1000. The vet was more concerned with my dog being 3 months past on his rabies than the fact that he had lacerated his face joker style. Don't go here. It is worth it to go anywhere else!

We are grateful for the respect and understanding and professional care that Lilly received. We so wish the outcome had been different but realized we had to let her go. Thank you for being there.

They took great care of my Great Dane today! The staff was friendly and the wait wasn’t long, considering they had limited staff. Even with the covid restrictions in place (which I actually preferred!) My boy was in and out in less than 2 hours and that included wait time and a short procedure for a small mass removal on his skin. After some stressful experiences at clinics in the area, I could not be happier with the service I received at this facility and the care they provided for my pup. Definitely recommend for any emergency you may have with your pet!

Can I give zero stars??? Brought my dog for SQ hydration and a second opinion. After 3 hours of waiting in a car we had yet to see a tech or a vet. They marked my dying dog as "stable" and didn't see her in first come basis. Ended up not even seeing a vet just taking fluids and praying my dog lived until her regular vet was open, no second opinion given. Also that receptionist got rude and needed to be taken down a notch. Worst place ever.

I called trying to get help for my dog who is sick and wont eat. And this place is more worried about payment than helping the animal in need of medical attention.

I tried taking my pregnant cat that was having an emergency and they refused service. Back story: my cat had 1 kitten Thursday night, but was still pregnant. Since she was still pregnant this morning and was having contractions, but no baby was coming out with the straining pushes I took her to emergency vet for help. I was panicked and had tears in my eyes trying to get help bc I knew the fate of my cat and the rest of the litter was dire. I got sent home with my cat still straining all because I don't have the money to pay upfront. This afternoon my cat finally pushed out a kitten which had been stuck in the birth canal and it ended up stillborn. If I could've got the help needed maybe that kitten would be alive. We so have 2 healthy kittens 1 being 2 days old and the other born after the stillborn.

The receptionist is Rude and uncaring seems only out to get your money. Instead of actually caring about pet. I believe it is important to be truthful.
