Dr Brooke was prompt, considerate and compassionate with our furry family member. She obviously has a passion for animals.

I know COVID has caused negative issues for many businesses but we had a scheduled appointment for our elderly dog who is very anxious. We arrived well before our appointment time, checked in and waited in the parking lot due to COVID protocol. We waited 20 minutes past our appointment time and left in frustration while other cars were coming and going, picking up their pets and getting attention. I received a call from the office after we left asking where we were and I told them we had to leave. Our dog was in distress from the ride and the long wait so we went home. Now, I've tried to call back twice to reschedule and I'm put on hold (long waits again), then I was told they'll call me back because they're so busy. I've been bringing my dogs here for over 20 years and it seems they either overbook or are just incredibly slow. I've always been frustrated with them pushing dental services and unnecessary shots and tests that my dogs don't really need and their prices are extremely high. If my last surviving dog wasn't 10 years old and in declining health I would definitely shop around for another veterinarian office. Note: We've decided to move to a different Veterinarian practice. We've been loyal customers at Sedgefield for well over 20 years but we can't endure the poor service anymore.

The whole staff here is great! They were able to handle my reactive dog when others couldn't, and they were all very friendly.

Very, very kind and helpful to me in helping me put my 9 year old Saint Bernard to sleep. I couldn't have gotten a kinder vet to help me with this.

They were super nice and considerate to my nervousness from other experiences with other vet clinics.

Obviously i would rate it a five star but for the reason I was there made me do a 4 star. (I had to put my dogs down). The ladies were really sweet!

Sedgefield Animal Hospital is a very thorough and professionally run veterinary hospital and dental facility. They have the best doctors and friendly and caring staff. All my four dogs and cats are well taken care of at Sedgefield. I highly recommend Sedgefield Animal Hospital for all your pets needs.

Love the friendly, helpful staff. They always put the pets needs and comforts above anything else. I also appreciate the calls checking in on my pets health afterwards. I would highly recommend using their services.

Drove from Mount Airy to get there, over an hour. Arrived early because they told me I had paper work to fill out, which I didn't. Made me wait until a couple minutes after my appointment time, when I finally said I had to pee badly. About 20 minutes later an assistant came out to tell me pretty much the same thing as my vet back in Mount Airy. And that we needed to go for a CT scand

I’m going to start by saying I received some pretty terrible news about my 10 yr old pup. I took him to my normal vet twice about the same issue. Now I know as everyone else does when somethings not right about your baby. (Pup) but still my baby boy. He had a eye issue and it didn’t look right. First, I was given a steroid and told he wasn’t in pain. Too be fair, it did seem to help some. But after awhile it started looking bad once again. I took him back. They checked him out and said his eye did look worse but nothing much to worry about. Well fast forward 3 months. He wasn’t eating or drinking and laying around. His eye looked awful and it definitely started to not look right. I decided to take him here. They were just excellent. I took him first to the Winston Salem location. They took him, checked him out and brought him out. I had my credit card in hand and they said we want to send you to our ophthalmologist specialist in Greensboro. They didn’t take a payment from me. I don’t know why, but at that moment I was grateful. I drove my pup to Greensboro and they took him back quickly and came back out to explain his treatment. She came out and explained 2 different options for treatment. Both a serious surgery. She was friendly and kind and at a time like that much appreciated. The options seemed reasonable. Most of all, I loved that they actually did their job and found our what was Going on with my boy. We’re scheduled for surgery, but I have no doubt he is in good hands and that takes a lot of stress off of all us. So give them a try. It’s a bit more expensive obviously than a typical vet, but you are getting specialist that will get to the bottom of things.

The staff is very friendly and supportive! I am a first time cat owner with tons of crazy questions but they always listen and help. I love my fur baby and they help me take great care of her

If you love your pet, take them to Sedgefield Animal Hospital. The associates take the time to listen. The doctors have cared for our dogs like they are their own. They also have food and pet supplies for sale that is less in cost than that found on Amazon. It's a great place with amazing people inside.

We have been very pleased with Sedgefield Animal Hospital. Dr. Moon is competent and very good with our little dog, who sometimes doesn't get along with people when she first meets them ... no problem with Dr. Moon, technicians, and those at front desk. As some have mentioned, sometimes the services are costly. BUT I want good care/ quality care by people our dog wants to go to. And costs do not seem to be out of line with other veternary practices I've used.
