Gone here a few times with my pets! Always helpful and reassuring my concerns! Decently priced compared to other places. Always feel like I got my moneys worth! The Dr. is awesome at explaining what's going on and the staff all the way around is so nice and very knowledgeable! You can call this place within their hours and always get help as far as updates or questions about your pet. Not open on weekends but neither is the place I work at. Understandble that these incredible people could use a break as well. I've been to many different vets and this place by far is the best for me and my pets and will continue to go to them for my pets needs. Highly recommend!!!

Not happy for two reasons: 1st they are always upselling to more expensive treatments and evaluations which are almost always unnecessary. they do this just for the sake of getting more money, and it turns a $75 bill into a $125 bill. Perhaps this is the normal, but I don't like being fleeced. 2nd, during the pandemic they have had a mask policy, which is a good thing. And even at the door there is a sign which states all must mask up before entering. However some staff do not follow their own policy. And when I asked one employee who was checking me out to please wear their mask, I was smirked at and ignored. I believe it to be totally irresponsible and disrespectful to put your own customers lives at risk for the sake of selfishness and comfort. For these reasons I leave this review and I have changed vets.

Great overall personality with animals. Gets down in the floor with dogs if they are anxious and never feel rushed at any appointments. Talks frank and to the point in what is going on while giving recommendations along with his past experiences.

Always helpful. Helped my granddog, Ashley Foreman immediately.

The staff was welcoming and super nice. Dr Tev was so extremely informative and well educated above and beyond … He also let my son and myself look at the slides to educate us on what he saw and what it was. Will definitely recommend this vet to anyone else who is looking for there perfect vet ????????????????

My dog has been going here since he was at the shelter (2019) so I never changed vets. He went in today for a check up and I can not explain how sweet Dr. Tev was to my baby and I ! The staff is always friendly and helpful. They definitely put my mind at ease with a bump I found on my dog. Thank you Dr. Tev, Amanda, Cathy and all the staff for being so caring with Omega ! P.S. This is the most knowledgeable, thorough and caring vet I've ever been to. They helped us find a fix for our angry, high-maintenance cat. He's now pretty sweet, which I never thought was possible. They are all so helpful and provide the best care for our pets. So thankful we found them!

We don’t reccomend this Vet. Theres an overall lack of compassion and empathy from Barros and his vet tech “Nathan” I believe. We also recieved the wrong medication which we fortunately caught as a seperate concern. When paid for XRays for our pet they never offered to review them. We had to ask for our pets weight numerous times which was surpirsing as weifht loss had been an issue. Were very dissapointed with Barros and Oakridge Animal Hospital. Prior to him purchasing it they were a very good family vet for a long time in the area. We ultimately switched vets and our pets whom we care very much about are getting the care they deserve and were so happy we switched. They took a full week to send over the Xrays which also speaks to the disorganization and lack of care or concern. If your pets are otherwise healthy or just need shots/basic ear infection medication etc you’re probably fine.. But the whole reason to have a good vet is when things go wrong. We do not recommend them at all.

My dog is very difficult to handle and is extremely scared of everyone, but Tev and his staff do an excellent job with him. I highly recommend this business to anyone looking for a veterinarian in the area.

These are truly wonderful people. I want to learn their names. I can't even think of the main doctor's name.Under my skin I am a egocentric narcissist. It is what it is. This Oak Ridge Animal Hospital is very well staffed.

Very caring people. It is clear that they have a love for animals. I did not get to go inside, due to COVID restrictions but they met me at the door, took my grandpuppy inside and provided the care she needed. The Vet came to the car and explained what they found and what the course of treatment would be. Every bit as costly as a doctors visit, but every bit as good. The young lady that took Linda from me was wonderful. I was in and out in less than an hour. If you love your animal and you're looking for place that will provide the high level of care your pet deserves, you won't be disappointed here.

They made a difficult situation a little easier for our family when we had to suddenly find a vet to help us after our relocation to the area. They fit us in when several area offices could not and did everything in their power to help our suddenly ill pup. The entire staff was caring and compassionate during our visits and ultimately the loss of our beloved fur baby.

Yesterday was my very first time coming to Oak Ridge Animal Hospital and I was very pleased. My cat had an acute problem that came up and I was worried sick, they worked my into their schedule no trouble at all. I was unable to go in due to COVID, which is 100% understandable and I respect their commitment to keeping everyone safe, but I also appreciated how comfortable and kind everyone was so I did not worry about sending my kitty inside alone. Their prices are very agreeable as well considering I’ve been to other places in the past that had charged 3 or 4 times more. I will definitely continue bringing my cat here for all future needs. My pets have had very difficult to diagnose disease states. Dr Barros knew immediately when to refer them to a specialty practice that had the necessary equipment and expertise to make a definitive diagnosis. He was very collaborative with me and answered the many questions I had. He made all these challenging situations easy to understand.

They are all great here. Very professional and VERY caring. They love my pets as much as I do. I've been to a lot of vets and their prices are more than fair!

I've been taking my rescue dog here since i adopted her over 4 years ago. Dr Barros and his staff are great. My girl can be nervous about going to the vet, as i'm sure other dogs can be,, but they always do a great job of treating her well. Dr Barros has always been honest about what he believes her treatment should be and will do what he can to find ways to cut costs. The bottom line is, we love out pets and want to make sure they are being treated well. You will definitely find that here.

It's something when you take your dog to Vet's are nothing but a money racket.
