Our dog loved the staff and they made him feel so comfortable. So glad to have him established with a nice place with caring staff. It was affordable too, which is key.

Dr. Grinstead she is AMAZING with Lucas who has "bipolar" issues LOL!! I strongly recommend keeping all your receipts to cross-reference. Personally, I like to know what I'm being charged (or maybe I'm just overly concerned about my bill). There have been occasions where I have questioned certain charges which I'm told "the tech puts in the computer." I guess I'm spoiled because with my previous vet (whom I had a longstanding relationship with and by the way has retired), knew I was "retired" and on a fixed income. Depending on the amount, they would set up an automatic draft 3 installment payment plan (so I wouldn't have to pay the entire amount at one time) or if the bill wasn't too much, they would go over my bill with me and if there was something we could adjust (purchasing my medicines online, etc), they were always willing to accommodate. Trust me, if my vet hadn't retired, I would have NEVER left! But I TRULY LOVE DR GRINSTEAD!! I guess you can't have your cake and it it too..... UPDATE: I HAVE RETURNED TO MY OLD VET BECAUSE I FOUND OUT HE DID NOT RETIRE, HE HAD KNEE SURGERY!! HE IMMEDIATELY GOT LUCAL THE CORRECT MEDICATIONS HE NEEDS AND HE IS DOING SO MUCH BETTER!!

I recently moved to Durham and needed to find a new dog groomer. I waited 6 weeks for an appointment for my dogs to get groomed. I received an email confirmation for these appointments. I confirmed the appointments over the phone with the receptionist and through the app Pet Desk. I sent over vaccine records via email as requested. When I arrived for my appointments, I was told my appointments were canceled almost a month ago and my dogs would not be seen today. I was also told I couldn't have my dogs groomed there unless the had a vet check as well which was not communicated in any way in the 6 weeks I waited for the appointments. Now I am tasked with finding another groomer and most are booking out at least a month. To say this is an inconvenience is an understatement! Granted maybe if your pets are being seen there for their vet needs, you are treated better but who knows!

They where great with my puppy. I just wish they did emergency visits. Some people can't afford a emergency vet. Other then that they where great.

Been going there since 1991. They have seen all of my numerous pets. I love them. And I live way on the other side of Durham.

We want to thank the staff and doctors for their kindness during our dog Claire's euthanasia. It's a difficult time and they were so compassionate, recounting stories of Claire's 16 years coming to Eno Animal Hospital. I'm sure their excellent care over the years contributed to her longevity.

I just had my first visit with Eno this past week. I had an emergency vet visit the week prior to that so I wanted to get some follow-up testing done for 8-year-old cat. I'm a cat mom of (3) cats all with various pre-existing conditions so I'm a little picky about which vets I use since I'm in and out of the vet office so often. Not only did Eno fit me in within a week of me requesting the appointment (pretty tough to get in that quick during covid) but the treatment was phenomenal!! The vet called me 3 times during my drop-off appointment to let me know how my cat was doing and treatment/tests she recommended. She sent me home with paperwork to help me understand the diagnoses, and to my surprise did a follow-up call a week later. All the vet techs were incredibly responsive and helpful during pick-ups and drop-offs. The whole office has a very smooth and well-developed covid-19 response. Everyone down to the front desk attendants were amazing. I couldn't recommend them more!

No way they could improve, kept us informed very well. Very kind people. Thank you for taking care of all my babies. Great got to stay in car with covid going on, with under lying health conditions, this was just great.

Because we have moved a lot we have had our cats to number of different vets. This is by far and away our favorite. Hope for our cats sake we don't move again.

They're awesome!! Quick to get an appt. Everything's explained well, prices are fair, & they try to let you know the cost upfront. **** They saved my dog's life!!!! She was in kidney failure (due to treats made in China) Because of their hard work & never giving up, she is healthy & happy. **** 7-2021 appt review: We were seen right away, no waiting. The appt was quick, easy, & efficient. Dr. Peace loves seeing how amazing Dottie is doing, after caring for her when she was so sick.....from so close to death to happy, healthy, and loving life. It's great to see my vet cares about my Dottie as much as I do. Thank you!!! ????

Our Kitty Baby Tuco had gotten out of the house and was missing for a week, when he finally came home, we went to schedule an appointment with our usual vet and they were booked up for the next two weeks! I asked around and Eno Animal Hospital was suggested to us so i gave them a call, and they were able to fit our baby Tuco in the next day! Everyone was so kind and helpful, especially Rachel. We will be bringing all our fur babies here from now on!

Dr. Peace & staff at Eno Animal Hospital were exceptional caring for my boxer fur babies & their momma Xena, well worth the drive from Raleigh.

It was very satisfying. Dr. Peace was wonderful with my two pets. He was very friendly and direct, met their needs and made me feel quite confident and comfortable about their future needs and treatments. I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing great personal care for their fur babies health.

Dr. Peace was amazing and made my newly adopted boy Max feel comfortable during his exam. Max has been through a lot of changes lately, from being on the street with his litter, to two different foster homes, then settling with us in his forever home. Dr. Peace and the staff at Eno Animal Hospital went out of their way to make our first visit a welcome change in Max’s life!

(Disclaimer: My mom is the owner of our two dogs, they are family pets. She was the account holder and who the staff mostly dealt with, but I am writing the review on our family's behalf). This review is a bit late as these events happened back in May, but after some thought we decided it was important to share our experience with Eno Animal Hospital to prevent other families from having the poor experience we had. It really is disappointing, considering that I had done a lot of research and thought this would be a great place to take our dogs to when we wanted to switch to a closer vet office after our move. Unfortunately, I was wrong. For starters, reception was annoyingly disorganized. There were a few miscommunications with the appointments for our dogs Sonny and Zoey after we had to reschedule, and I kept getting reminder calls about the cancelled appointments. The actual appointment itself took nearly two hours for both dogs because staff kept forgetting things inside, and the billing process took forever. However, it is a vet’s office and sometimes those things happen, so we brushed that off. The real problems started shortly after our appointment. Our dog Sonny looked as if he was starting to get an eye infection over the weekend, so we called straight away on Monday morning to get an appointment or (at the very least) speak to someone about what to do so his eye doesn't get worse. We were told there were no available appointments until Thursday and no offer was made to just have the vet call and give some advice about what to do in the meantime. We understand they may be busy, but you would think if they cared enough about their patients they would try and squeeze us in or do literally anything to make us feel better about waiting four days before getting our dog help. (Interestingly, when we called our previous vet office, right away they extended their office hours by 20 mins so we could bring Sonny in and get him looked at. That was not expected, but obviously shows how much they care about their patients compared to this place.) After this experience, we switched back to our old vet and got another appointment for Zoey (since she is a puppy) just a couple weeks after her Eno appointment. We then found out that she had mites, which she likely had when we rescued her from the animal shelter (only a week before her appointment with Eno). While at her initial appointment at Eno, however, we were told she was perfectly healthy. But it was kind of obvious there was something going on because there was prominent hair loss on her forehead when we had taken her here. We didn't realize what the symptoms of mites were, so we did not say anything to the Eno vet at the time - but you would think they'd have noticed? So not only were we disappointed with the service here, the quality of the examinations are also clearly poor or else they would have found these mites. We were also told Sonny's eye problem could have been caused by the mites too, so who knows if he was properly examined, either. This was absolutely unacceptable. In short, please don’t be fooled by whatever reviews this place has. I genuinely don't know why other people have had better experiences, but all we know is that our puppies were not looked after properly and there is no attempt by this office to genuinely care about their patients. This place is not worth it and, in our experience, completely unreliable.
