Second time I’ve been here, with two different dogs. When they did the exam on my second dog, they charged me for a service which i did not ask for like behavioral exam. I simply wanted a parvo and dewormer. Which is 40 bucks tops. But in the end i got charged 125. My first dog was a little less than 40. I felt i got robbed and Finessed. Probably wont come back. Don’t recommend either. What if i diidnt have all the money?? Very smart ????

Love these vets. We have a much older cat. And they are gentle with him. And his visits are so not stressful

Wonderful staff. Everyone seems to love what they do and it shows!! Just after moving here and had an emergency with one of our dogs before we could pick out a new vet. These guys welcomed us in and treat our dogs with love and care. Thanks guys!

I travel from Greensboro NC to come here. They are the best and love them even more because they help Vintage Racers for Rescues. They both go above and beyond to help all furbabies!!!

Hi I brought my sons rabbit in to see the exotic vet at Danville Family Vet. His rabbit was feeling bad and this is the only exotic vet I could find available. Now I know why she was available. I can’t imagine anyone would go back here after the experience we had. In August of this year we had our pet rabbit Red see Kerri Cooper Bailey. I would NEVER recommend her to anyone! Our rabbit had starting feeling bad that morning and we wanted to take him in to be evaluated. After the exotic vet looked at him we were told he was probably not going to make it. She told us she could try a $1200 procedure to get the air out of his stomach but it was only a 20% success rate and it could possibly kill him. We were not taking that chance. She then said we could have him operated on in Raleigh that night for $4000. I then told her let me go outside and speak to my husband about it and her response was if your not going to have this surgery done right this minute then I need to put him down before you leave. All along telling me this in front of my son who is upset and crying! The way she went about this was very unprofessional. She has no empathy to say all this in front of a child. As dramatic as she was she should have went to school for drama and should go back to school and learn some manners! I finally decided I’m going to pay the bill which after x-rays was $374 and get a second opinion. I knew I had to do something to make him feel more relaxed so I started googling. I came across an online vet that recommended infant gas drops and belly massage. We took our rabbit home, made him comfortable, gave him gas drops and a massage and took turns watching him all night. About 6:00 the next morning our rabbit was running all over the bedroom, eating and pooping. This was almost three months ago and he has never felt better! My husband has reached out and called the owner several times and every time he has been told he would get a return call. Almost three months later and nothing! I would like to make it clear I am only complaining about Kerri Cooper Bailey the exotic vet. I have had no experience with the regular vets at this location. I have read some reviews so please do not tell me you can’t find where we came in! The rabbit is Red, we were seen in August. Feel free to comment back and I would be glad to speak with someone there. We have been waiting on a return call.

I know everyone has different opinions as to everything but I just didn't feel I had a good experience sorry. Just didn't appear to be be very concerned about my sister's pet kitten. That's why I have and still will continue to carry my little fur family to Kay at cherrystone vet in tightsqueeze even though it's further away the atmosphere is more friendly and family oriented in my opinion.

I was only in the room with the doctor for FIVE minutes and they charged $70 for the exam, don’t get attracted to the way the place looks, very EXPENSIVE.

My daughter was visiting from the DC area and we had planned a small family trip and needed somewhere trustworthy to board my grand-pup. My daughter is very picky regarding where (Frank), their French bulldog spend time while they are away. She seemed to be pleased with the service she received and I must say I was somewhat impressed as-well. So yes I would recommend this place.

The best quality of this veterinary clinic was the appointment availability. The vet misdiagnosed a lung infection in my cat, told me you cannot see worms, then recommended a tooth cleaning. I expected more for the cost.

I can’t say enough praise about this practice! I was in town visiting family with my dog in 2019 when I noticed my dog had picked up fleas, despite being on routine flea and tick medication that normally worked where we live. Horrified and unsure what to do, I found them on Google and gave them a call for recommendations. They were able to supply my dog with a dose of new medication despite her not being a patient of theirs, and it worked wonderfully (I ended up switching her to the new medication permanently). They were so sweet and helpful, which was very reassuring for this worried dog momma.

I LOVE that they are a "fear free" practice. My 6 year old boxer/lab, who had developed an abscess, had only been to the vet one other time so I was a little unsure how she'd do. She did wonderfully. Everyone put us both at ease. And even though we were new patients they worked us in first thing in the morning. I'm so glad we found them.

I was looking for a vet and after reviewing their website, that I was impressed with, I decided to take my Gizmo to Danville Family Vet. Super friendly staff, I was explained recommendations for our first visit and was given up front pricing for this visit, as well as a future visit that was discussed. They helped me with getting my chip registered and were so helpful about giving information and answering questions. You will not be disappointed with the service and the staff, ask for Amy, she's awesome.

I go here specifically for the avian vet. She's very knowledgeable and has helped me a lot with my injured bird and keeping him alive and well after a traumatic beak injury.

I took 2 formerly feral kitties in for shots, microchipping, etc. Of course, the kitties were terrified, but the staff was so patient, kind, and gentle, they melted the kitties' fear away. I was just deeply impressed as I've rarely seen such compassion in Veterinarians and I've seen quite a few. I just wish they were just a tad more affordable.
