They have a cute selection of kittens. I feel like the adoption process is too invasive, but it's reasonable considering how ppl mistreat animals.

I’ve owned animals for years so I had vet information ready when I visited this facility. I live in the next county over and I was prepared to provide proof of neuter when my puppy was old enough. When I visited on Friday, the info card on my chosen puppy stated it was available for adoption. I went back Monday and the card had been rewritten to state it wouldn’t be available for another two weeks. When I questioned staff, they said they really didn’t know how old he was or his gender. Very frustrating!

The staff seen short with you, and didn't seem to care as much as other shelters I've been to. Almost like they were burnt out of the job

I found this place to be very dishonest to the community. They are a KILL shelter but when they built on a new section to the shelter they put out news announcements stating they were a No Kill shelter. What they really did was attach the new section to the old section and move the animals from one side to the other when they want to kill them. The way I found this out is when I answered a job ad and went for the interview with the woman who runs this kill shelter. She stated in order for me to work there I had to be willing and able to euthanize the animals.

In order to adopt a dog. One has to have a fenced in yard which is not fair to the dog being adopted

Loved the Ladies there. Very much hands on, helpful in resolving & releasing my dogs that were captured without a leash. Clean, sweet to the animals & nice to the Customers.

They are an open admission shelter that accepts ALL animals. This includes stray dogs, feral cats, hamsters, birds, reptiles, and barnyard animals. Please check there first if you are looking for a forever pet. They also offer spay/neuter assistance certificates, reduced cost spay/neuters, and many other services.

Theres a Moluccan Cockatoo, so sweet. I visit frequently because i love animals and it helps my anxiety. I asked about adopting her once and they were so rude. Apparently she was owned by someone who was getting "house renovations" done and they were keeping her. She was fully feathered when i started going there. Its been a year and several months and she is still there, i visited her recently just to see a huge gaping bloody wound on her chest. You can tell, how lonely she has been. ive never seen such a bad plucking problem as her. It makes me so sad seeing what was once such a happy, sweet, healthy bird start to practically rip herself apart. Please, if you're reading this, dont take this as a warning not to visit this shelter. Please do. Please pay attention to the parrots. They have the emotional and mental development of a 5 year old.
