Lucky Pups Pet Wash Chesapeake, North Carolina

I got my girl groomed here and they did fantastic! She’s a poodle mix and I was worried but the lady at the front explained how the first visit would go and what to expect. When I picked her up everyone was so nice and she looked so cute! She had bows and a bandana and everything. I would highly recommend them and Buffy can’t wait to go back!

Great place 1st time definitely my new pup grooming place :-)

I loved taking my dog there when we first discovered this place. That was about 5 yrs. ago. The price was pretty much the same, every time you toke your dog, long as you were getting the same thing done. Now here we are today getting the same dog do. But its doubled. Why ??? And the last 2 times my dog has been there for more than 5 hours. And looks like he's been rushed. Oh and how does your dog have advantage on them,,weeks before you take them there and they tell you they had to wash them with flea shampoo. And they charge you for it. Oh and if they act up a little they charge you for that to. The list goes on. So I just don't know. Wish someone knew of another place that's not trying to be pet smart. Thats why I was taking my dog there in the first place. Can't afford Pet Smart. Soon I might as well go to Pet Smart.

Wasn't too happy about this place.

Our first visit here for a nail trim, grind and gland check for my beagle, who is typically anxious, but she didn't cry at all. They were quick and very efficient. Very impressed and we will return.

We have taken our golden retriever Moses, and our golden doodle Biscuit here now for about a year and each time they do an incredible job! Very happy with them!

Always a smiling face & a great job. Getting a Dingo clean is tough... but not for Lucky Pups. Another great job. Thanks!

Got an appointment for the next day after petsmart canceled my appointment 30 minutes before. Honestly, I am so glad my dogs went to Lucky Pups because the grooming was well done and they even got a cute bandana! Not to mention, my girls smelled FANTASTIC! I recommend this place 100% and I will definitely going back!

Uneven cut, still looked unkept and had small mats in long hair, which means at least not brushed and made it very clear to please muzzle her if needed. Should have waited to go to one of her regular spots.

Strange making an appt but was attentive

Absolutely horrible experience. Very unprofessional and not efficient at all. More expensive than the original place we have always taken our dog. This was just closer to our house. We were completely taken advantage of. Services were not done that we paid for.

Jordan was Brodie's stylist. My border collie needed the works and he got it!!((DEEP SHEDDING & ALL)) Brodie loves The Lucky Pups... People please don't forget to tip the person who styles your dog...trust me they don't have that job for the wet dog smell or the occasional bite they endure...

Will never go back to this place

We have been having our dogs groomed here for a few years ago and can’t imagine going elsewhere! The groomers here are so sweet and really take care of our girls. They actually get excited when we get to lucky pups LOL! The prices are great and they groom the girls really quickly.

Very good for washing your pets or having them washed for you. Prices are good to but I suggest bringing yourself some ear plugs because it can get noisy sometimes.

Although it was a bit pricey, I was 100% happy with my puppy's look. The groomer sent me updates along with pictures and I absolutely loved that!!

I understand covid rules and respect your adherence to them. Could you make your hrs by appt only since that's currently your policy? I drove all the way here and called 3 times while standing outside and no one answered or came to help me.

First time visit today, exceeded expectations 100%! The staff was very friendly and professional. The service was exceptional. And, personally I thought for the quality of service I received the cost was a bit low. So thank you to the staff and owner for offering such a tremendous value. Only critique and very minor is the amount of hair at the front where you sit and wait. My guess, most people don’t wait and just come back and pick up their pet. So, again very minor detail but wanted to give a full review. I will definitely be back!

I took my 2 babies there today for the first time. They did an awesome job , they were gentle and sweet with my babies. My girl is pregnant so of coarse I worried but the young look lady that did her was so professional and sweet my girl seemed to really like her she even gave her a face massage. She loved it.

Lucky Pups is amazing. We have a big dog and she can be a little bit difficult at bath time but they are so great at working with her! They even sent her home with a super cute bandana after her grooming session.

Bailey loves to go get a bath.
