I stood around waiting for help no one offered assistance even though they were all talking to each other I decided to look for a puppy else where

These puppies come from a puppy mill!!! Just look up some of the breeder information, especially BJ and guys. I have been in this store many times just to check where these dogs come from and every single one comes from a mill. Do not shop to support the horrid conditions of puppy mills. They keep them in tiny filthy cages and breed them until they die. Puppy mill dogs often have many health problems and die prematurely. These puppies also cost at least 1800+. You can 100% find a local breeder where you will find healthier and cheaper dogs. Shopping here only supports puppy mills.

My husband and I visited this pet store often since we just moved a month ago on a search for a puppy. They always have puppies every week and a variety of them. We just recently adopted our new Australian shepherd and Keeshond mix 10 week yr old. Their pet visits and first shots all included into the price of the puppies. They also do holds to hold onto the puppy till you are ready to take them home for $100 a day, each day hold amount gets subtracted from the total that your puppy costs. Ivey and Sarah were super helpful to us with the process of getting our new baby. We love our puppy, she's healthy smart and very active.

Expensive! However I have a new family member that will give us years of Joy, Love & Happiness. Perfect breed I was looking for! I'm a fan of rescues, however , I did rescue this baby! As I think of it, it's not expensive compared to the breed I wanted.

They were horrible. When me and my daughter walked in, the two large size white women looked at us like we were some kind of criminals. they did not say hello or nothing welcoming. Then when we asked to see a dog, one responded that we could not visit with a dog unless we are buying it. But we observed a white man was visiting with a dog, and he did not purchase the dog he was visiting with. Straight up discrimination!!! We are black. And if not because of our race for some other reason. I will never buy a pet from this lousy store again and I have brought two puppies from them in the past. Those two employees were horrible and need to learn to treat all people fairly. It's your lost. We left and went to the Pet Store in Lynnhaven Mall and was greeted and welcomed and were able to visit with any dog we were interested in.

These people are so unprofessional. I drove 1 1/2 hours for a puppy i was promised and 10 minutes before I arrived at the store they let another customer buy the puppy I was promised. I was reassured that it would be held until i made the 1 1/2 hour drive to get the puppy. I was crushed. The dog was for my daughter. We arrived to the shop and the lady literally just gave the puppy away minutes before I made it there. Than tried to offer me this frail timid puppy, when the puppy i had drove down for was in the window just as playful and as loving as in the pic. I was devastated and my daughter didn't even know what to do. She was willing to get the timid puppy because we took all that time to drive down. I was not going to allow that or spend $2500 on a puppy i did not want. Unprofessional and bad for business. Would never recommend this place and the puppies dont even look all that great. Like something you can buy off the side of the road. Not worth the money. I'm glad to take my business else ware

Got my puppy there, turned out to be good. But I doubt this place could be a puppy mil. I think if you want to see puppies, it’s fine. If you want to adopt one, go directly to breeder for a better price and better quality puppy :)

We came in for my daughter's birthday. They had a rabbit separated out because it had 'diarrhea' but assured us the other two were fine. We went with a lionhead rabbit that turned out to be ill as well. He died two days later. Rather than refund us our money, the associates became nasty, reciting that state law says they can only exchange. I wrote the owner with hope that they would make it right. They haven't responded. Do not buy from this place.

Love all of the natural food options for dogs! You can also get CBD bites for dogs here and raw frozen dog food.

Well it was awesome to finally get to find a pet store that had puppies available that u could look at and play with if u asked. But their prices were absolutely outrageous and there's just no way I could afford $2800 for a puppy. I'm sure they are all well worth that price or more but it just was out of my league

I cant wait to pick out our new pup on Thursday. He's the cutest. I know people might bash this place but In my honest opinion it was a great experience buying a dog here they know what they are doing over there. Update: picked him up today named him sir Tobias long bottom III and he is the best exactly what my family was missing we love him.

This is the absolute worst place to buy a pet. I bought a miniature pinscher in this store that had to stay in the hospital over night 3 days after purchase. Turns out the puppy still had a condition that was documented as resolved by this pet store before purchase. This visit resulted in finding out that my puppy had a condition that would most likely take years off of my puppies life. I also had to take the puppy to NC state at my own expense for medical care. The shop didn’t want to refund my money, cover medical expenses, and also took the registration of my puppy away.

I WOULD GIVE NO STARS IF I COULD. Honestly this kind of treatment should be illegal, the puppies being confined to a tiny box that they can barely move around in. The food did NOT look fresh from what I saw and the puppies were not playful.. very lethargic (to me that is a red flag) Other reviews of puppies having health conditions that are later uncovered is so upsetting to hear. I will DEFINITELY be taking my business elsewhere and highly recommend others do the same. It’s best to not give money to any sort of business that may potentially be selling sick dogs!

I never know how to feel about animals being sold in the mall. The animals looked healthy and were playful. I would have taken all the little doggies if I could have.

Cute puppies but I would rather adopt instead of buying.

I would give NO stars if I could. We recently bought a Keeshond puppy from them, eager to find an addition to our family only to find out the puppy we bought and paid an arm and a leg for came from one of the top 100 WORST puppy mills “BJ’s and Guys”. NEVER buy a dog from them. The conditions this pet store keeps the dogs in is cruel, they only have wire to sleep on and no where to use the bathroom. This pet store only wants your money and they do not care about the well being of their puppies. Please steer very far away from this pet store and never look back. The operation of dogs and small puppies being sold in pet stores should be illegal as it is in NYS. They do not care about the puppy’s they care about your money!! Do not buy from pet stores. Please rescue or adopt from a shelter. This place should be closed down for GOOD.

They do not have pets for adoption. Their pets are strictly for sale, and prices begin at $1800.00. False advertisement!

Pretty cold atmosphere. Customers walking around the pet center, only one associate and she was more interested being on her cell phone than asking anyone if they needed assistance.

This is a horrible place. Pets are kept in cramped uncomfortable conditions (wire cages). Pets are older than the supposed age marked on the container. This place needs to be shut down.

This pet store is in Greenbrier Mall. The few dogs they had in store looked to be on death's door. The so called lab was definitely a lab mix. The Betta fish were also in poor condition to include some dead and floating in the containers. The store associates were anything but friendly and more concerned with their cell phones than helping potential customers. Animal control and or peta should definitely check this place for violations.

This place is very nice and covid friendly so most people have masks on inside the storefront and some people didn't but that was okay. There was a cute cockatoo bird I forgot his name but it was a pretty bird and he very much like the mirror. The owners are very friendly and can help you find what you need.

The staff isn't the most friendly and they're selection is very scarce. You would expect a lot more being in a mall setting but it really leaves a lot to be desired. If you're looking for a gerbil cage or bird food they've got you covered.

Terrible smell in the store. The animals are laying on wire flooring, they don't even have mats to lay on. The puppies look so depressed and the staff isn't very friendly either.
