Dr. Brooks and his staff are amazing! He has been my vet for 25 years and has cared for multiple pets over the years...I couldn't imagine going anywhere else!

I really like the staff there they treat us like family and absolutely adore our loki And dr Kim has been really good and thorough I've been recommending other people to go there

We had a sick cat. He was brought in for a URI. The doctor gave him weak antibiotics, and his symptoms got worse. We told him what was going on and brought him in he said he gave him enough antibiotics and to wait it out regardless of the symptoms. The cat is dead in a matter of two days after we brought him in the second time. The day he died we brought him to another vet for another opinion. The vet said it was weak antibiotics and they gave a more aggressive approach but by that time it was to late. Lots of money spent for nothing if we get another pet we will find a more competent place than Chesapeake animal hospital.

Very good vet /service for my pet . Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable.next time please make sure for first time clients to have their dog muzzled.

Everyone is so supportive and caring. All of the doctors are fantastic. Dr. Brooks leads by example and he is a wonderful example——your pet will surely be in good hands! We trust him with our cat because we know he is trying his best to help him feel better to improve his quality of life????

Dr. Brooke was extremely helpful during my first visit and the rest of the front desk staff was so friendly. I felt welcomed and felt a sense of trust with this vet right away.

Mazie enjoys her trips to the vet to visit Dr. Neering and her team. She isn’t stressed which means she receives her shots and it is like a normal day. The receipts always remind me what is due. When I ask questions concerning things like her allergies I leave with solid suggestions that work. Thank you so much for all you do.

The people here were totally amazing unfortunately it was too late to save my cat and the poor thing passed. The staff was so amazing they gave me a little coffin for my sweet little baby so I could bury her and they were very sympathetic yet very professional. I am personally at that point where I don't know if I want another pet it is very difficult to deal with when you are so attached and they die but if I do get another pet Chesapeake Animal Hospital is where I will take it they are truly wonderful people. And I thank them so much by the way they didn't charge me at all even though I've offered to pay again I cannot say enough about how wonderful these people are and I would highly recommend them to anybody

They truly care about our little babies. They're the best we've ever found. And our pets deserve the best!

Everyone goes out of their way to be helpful. Staff at the front desk know how to make you feel welcome. The Doctors and techs are thoughtful, thorough, and kind.

Great visit very caring of my dog

I have been using Chesapeake Animal Hospital for at least 20 years. The vets have always appeared to truly care about my pets. I have been advised of when to have particular procedures done which would be more cost-effective for me. They really try to make my cats' visits as stress-free as possible. And their staff is just as caring.

Absolutely love Dr. Brooks and his staff. Everyone is so friendly and they really seem to care about my pets! Highly recommend!! Usually my doberman is timid around men and he walks right up to all the staff waiting to be loved on.

The entire staff was absolutely incredible! From the moment we checked in, the staff at the front desk were so pleasant. Dr. Brooks is fantastic and listened to my concerns, did a great exam on my dog and is overall a wonderful doctor to visit. He also provided pamphlets on some of the things he recommended instead of just trying to “sell” me on things. He genuinely cares about the well-being of the animals and I greatly appreciate that!

After moving back to the area it was no question I would be returning to Dr Neering and Dr Kim for my pets. At each visit all my concerns are discussed and workups are done if needed. The reception staff is especially friendly too!

They took great care with my aging Chiweenie who had a bad cough. Turned out to be an enlarged aorta, that was pressing against her trachea. She's on meds twice daily, the pills are a real effort to get down and she's so smart I've about run out of tricks to get them in her. She only falls for it once, then I have to come up with something new. I've got to remember to ask about liquid meds, if available. It would be less stressful on us both. The doctor took the time to show me the exrays and explain the situation. Hoping for the best. Not ready for anything else. My dogs are family!

The front staff are always courteous, professional and answer the phone in a professional manner. Dr. Neering is always concerned about the pet and if she doesn't know enough about the diagnosis of a pet she will research it. She always returns calls as soon as time permits. This is a great veterinarian hospital.

Both the technicians and veterinarians are very professional and courteous to myself and to my dog.

I read the other reviews and wish my story involved a dog who loves to go to the vet and is well behaved. We love our lab mix Venus but she shows folks outside the home her worst side. Despite this the staff still treated her with care as much as she would allow. I a feel so grateful and hope we can Venus to a better place. Thank you for your patience and forgiveness.
