I've been taking my dog Lexi here to get her nails trimmed for quite some time, and these guys are the best. Normally, Lexi is very shy and nervous around people, but every time we pull up to the curb here I can see her ears perk up. I don't know what they do in the back to make her so happy, but it really means a lot to me that I know I can trust them. I decided to leave my review today because I had one of her nail trim appointments scheduled for 10 AM. I showed up around 9:50 to check in, and at approximately 9:58 I was on my way home. I very highly recommend this vet to anyone interested.

I got duped into buying their pet care coverage at $46/mos and then it didn’t cover a standard 12 month blood test for heart worm because I haven’t had my dog spayed. It would be paid in full except I’m a bad pet owner who is waiting for her first heat to ensure she’s completely done growing first. Also according to them my dog didn’t gain an ounce between 6&8 months but now gained 15 lbs from 8-12 months? Nobody checked her chart or made any comment about her weight gain. I’m not sure they read the scale right last time. I don’t trust them anymore

I had Mortens (my dog) annual scheduled 7 days before travel abroad. I was prepared with paperwork for the air trip but was not aware about additional documentation needed for entering on other county. There came our vet from VCA Cornerstone Animal Hospital to help. She actually call me before my visit to inform me about that and also ensure me that she will prepare all the documentation I will need. And She save our trip! I am very great full for her initiative. I am also very happy with her care for Morten. The office employees are always very friendly and willing to go a step further to make sure that our needs are addressed. Thank you for your great service Helena

Dr. Jones is awesome! Staff is friendly and professional. Curb side drop off and pickup most common at this point.

I didn’t get to meet Dr. Doyle due to Covid, but she seemed nice on the phone. Meredith the tech who came to the car is awesome! So friendly and fun. Plus, she loved my rescue kitty I just adopted, as did the entire staff.

My old vet retired and when my cat suddenly became ill, VCA was able to get her in first thing the next morning due to me calling as they were closing the night before. The entire staff was awesome. From the moment I walked in the door I was met by Connie who was so sweet and she even chatted with me while I waited for the vet to run test on my cat. The vet tech was so good with my cat and I'm sorry I can't remember her name to give her a shout out too. Dr. Doyle was also amazing! She took a lot of time explaining everything that they would be doing do to my cat. The next day , Dr. Doyle called me and again took the time to explain the test results and answer my questions. Later in the day I had more questions and I called the office and asked if Dr. Doyle could call me back when she had a moment. Not only did she call me back and answer my questions, but her positive tone calmed my nerves. I would highly recommend VCA Cornerstone for your pets.

The first few times we visited this vet hospital we were very happy. However, after my dog had been diagnosed with cancer elsewhere we took her for surgery at ncstate. Months later we took her to VCA Cornerstone because she was incontinent and appeared to be in pain. They told us they couldn't find anything and suggested we give her pills for a UTI. They then called later saying not to give her the pills because the results came back negative. My dog was clearly in a lot of pain still so I took her to get a second opinion the very next day. After 2 seconds of checking my dog they informed me the cancer had come back full swing and put me on a pain regiment for her. That was strike 1 for VCA for me. Strike 2 came when months after that experience, I needed to bring this same dog in to have her gland expressed since she can no longer do it herself. When I got there I had asked if I could ask the doctor a brief question and was told sure, and that they would grab her for me. The vet tech came and I asked her as well and she said the same. After I got my dog back I waited and asked again at the front if I could speak to the doctor. I wanted to know if there were any medications for incontinence since someone had told me to ask about them. I didn't need a diagnosis, we already know what the issue is (obviously). The desk attendant went back and after about 10 minutes came up and said that now the doctor was about to step into another appointment with a client and that if I'd like to wait I could but I would have to pay for an exam. What the hell for!? I said no and left. It's clear they are very money driven and apparently not always detail oriented. Very frustrated with my experience.

I had been to this location yesterday and had an horrible experience. Please be aware of all the miss communications. I was referred by a friend for grooming here. I called in to make an appointment for my dog and was told that he is not up-to-date on 2 vaccinations and they need to vaccinate him before grooming which they can do it while he is in for grooming. I went ahead confirmed for both vaccination and grooming. The morning of the appointment they asked me to sign-in a checkin form which along with vaccination mentioned about some wellness check. I confirmed at the desk if that was required and got confirmed that was not required. That said we strike out the wellness check on the checkin form and signed. After the grooming they have charged me for vaccination + wellness check + grooming. I called them back to check on it, all I hear was a push back on me, completely not acceptable. I would have been more than happy to pay if they would have communicated to me clearly of what is expected. Looks like there is lot of gap between the people and the process. Please be aware and ask all the questions upfront.

The staff is really great. I have my doubts about the insurance. They will see your pet for free was often as you want but I think they are encouraged to prescribe medications for most visits so that the VCA gets more from the insurance option. It does cover all necessary vaccinations. So as a vet I really like them and I like the option to have vet visits covered but I may ask if they have suggestions that don't involve medication.

We have been coming here for years with many different dogs. They are the kindest vets and techs we have ever experienced. I know they change staff over the years, but everyone has been pretty great. I also board my dogs here knowing if they have any medical issues, they are taken care of well and I don't have to worry! Love VCA Cornerstone

I have never written a review for a business before, but I thought it was necessary this time. I recently visited this office in order to treat my dog's chronic ear infections. During the visit, the associates I worked with were named Taylor and Dr. Doyle. Throughout the visit my dog was nervous, and the vet tech would not let me hold my dog as she was being examined, even though this would have been the only thing to make her calm. She even pulled my dog's collar close to her when I reached to pet her. Then, knowing that the cost of the visit was a huge concern for me, the doctor continued to tell me all of the services that she was "going to do" during the visit. She did not ask, and proceeded to attempt to run various unnecessary tests. My dog has a long history of medications and treatments that we have tried in the past. When I mentioned this to the doctor, Dr. Doyle stated in a very rude tone, "well I don't even know why you're here then." Which not only made me feel hopeless for my dog, but it also offended me, because I was visiting this office for medical help for my dog. If you want people that truly care, I am not saying that you shouldn't visit this particular vet's office, I just suggest that you do not ask for Taylor and/or Dr. Doyle. They do not seem genuinely there to help with your animal, more for a quick paycheck.

Staff is thorough and very kind. Only problem is the location on High House - no left turn nearby. To get to VCA coming from Cary, you have to go a long ways down High House to find a turnaround, or turn at the ligjmht _before_ VCA, drive through the apartments, turn right on High House and drive back.

I have been to a lot of places around the US due to my job and I’d have to say it is very hard to find a place I trust with the care of my babies (boxers). I was very pleased and absolutely recommend to anyone.

Lovely, amazing staff who are very attentive and compassionate. Truly care about the animals they see and take time to explain what they're doing and why. We scheduled to have my dog, Biscuit, put down a couple years back. They were very professional and laid down a blanket for her, allowing us all the time we needed to say goodbye. We were allowed to stay in the room as they walked us through the process. Their care moved me to tears. We still bring my cat here yearly, and they're always great with her! Definitely recommend.

Staff are very nice, saw us right on time. Fat cat guilt trip (over .02 lbs.), otherwise we emerged unscathed.

Doctor was great. She took great care of our cats and was extremely reasonable on costs. My oldest cat is 17 and was diagnosed with Kidney disease. The doctor took great care to ensure that my cat was as happy as a cat can be. For the first time in a long while, my cat is finally returning to her happier self.

I went here vecause my famikt oet Ski hurt here leg, when I first went there I looked up serveral place that could take my pet as she hurt her leg falling down the stairs. When I got there the receptionist greeted me and was very friendly great customer service. There were several people in the lobby and seem to very happy there. The assistant their would come out to keep everyone posted and asure them they hadn't been forgotten. Once I was call in I meet the Dr Silvie assitant she has a great attitude and immediately focus on my Ski, Ski loved her and was sge was done Dr. Silve came in and all I can say is what an awesome Dr.. Dr Sylvie treated Dkivas ut was ger pet very loving and a tentative, wow I wish I could fine that kind of Dr. where I live so dar I have not been happy with them. After everything was done they call me ip to check on Ski to see hiw she was even Dr. Sylvie called that was something I dud not expect. After a few days went by Ski was playing soccar and yelped abd went to check on her and saw she was limping from her back left leg, so I called the Veterinarian Hospital VCA and ask for Dr. Sylvie and it was her on the line, I told what happened and ask if sge had an opening and without hesitation she saw Ski as soon as I got there. I really enjoy my visit and so did Ski. Thank you very much for going out of your way to takibg care of Ski.
