Love prevails at A Purr-fect Fit. Chris and the staff's priority is the welfare of the cats who are well cared for and relaxed and beautiful. They lounge in upholstered cat towers and on cushions and couches. Adorable kittens run around the floor chasing cat toys and one another. The place is clean and orderly. I adopted a two year old female. The only difficulty was choosing among the precious animals at the Adoption Center. Thank you Chris and staff for your dedicated work that is a labor of love.

First off, I'd like to say you have a few amazing volunteers. I understand what some other reviewers are saying where they seem to be rude and disrespectful at first but after spending almost an hour there, I could tell a few of these people really care about these animals, and put a lot of effort into being knowledgeable about each individual cat, and their backstory. What I did not find very professional though was the person who deals with applications. No, I am not writing this because I am just mad I was denied (Well I wasn't, I was told I would receive a response and never did), but purely how unprofessional the person I spoke to was. I understand the need to vet all applicants thoroughly but I felt from the beginning of the application process I was met with animosity. I was the one who had to reach out a week after I submitted my application, because I did not hear back. The lady responded by saying she never called me because I did not submit the vet records for other animals in my house (I do not have any other animals) and when I told her this, it was like I was being called a liar because she kept questioning me on this and wouldn't listen it must've been a mistake on their end. Next, which was the point I realized I would not want to give this place my business anymore, was when she asked about my income to make sure I can properly take care of a kitten. I was honest and told her I have more than enough money saved up (I invest), and I also do door dash to supplement my income. She scoffed and said "call back when you get a real job" (Thank you very much but I make over $30 an hour doing this!). Anyway sorry for the long review but I went to the SPCA and adopted a beautiful kitten named Mia who is living a very happy life here with me. I would advise not adopting here until they figure out the situation with the application manager because after reading these comments I realize I am not the only one.

FIVE STARS FOR A THOUGHTFUL RESCUE!!! I volunteer here once a week and have only great things to say! The kitties are well cared for and the facility is clean and tidy. Chris, the lady in charge and the other volunteers are easy to work with and polite. Thank you for all you do!

Such an amazing rescue! The place is so cool & allows most of the cool cats too roam in the building. I adopted Zac at 4 months old in 2018 & he is the most chill & affectionate guy i know. I recently had to help with another rescue of two beautiful females & Holly was on top of everything! Love A Purr-fect Fit!!!

Had to bring a tiny kitten that was on my porch and in my front holly bushes. So tiny, so hungry. No mom around for almost 5 days. I have 2 senior cats and a new dog rescue. Was not able to take this sweet baby in at this time and I was such a wreck worrying about this little angel!! This rescue is a Godsend!! The staff was so kind and I could tell immediately that the kitten would be well cared for! The place was exceptionally clean!! The cats and kittens were relaxed and curious!! I cannot express enough how deeply grateful I am for these wonderful people running this shelter!! Thank you and God bless!!????♥️

OMGood THE nicest Animal Shelter I have ever been to. The owner was wonderful and very knowledgeable and the volunteer was great. All the kittens were roaming freely, not in cages. So chilled and relaxed. It was a homey feel, so the cats are easily acclimated when you bring them to their forever homes ????

The most amazing rescue!! We took a kitty to them that someone dumped outside our house.. When we took her in, I was in tears having to give a kitty to a shelter ( I would have loved to give her a home with us but couldn't). I left feeling confident that she was in good hands. Also the kitten room is what I imagine heaven would be like!!! Please do not hesitate to support this shelter or adopt any of the wonderful kitties looking for their forever home!

I adopted my cat, Chip from this shelter. The volunteers are very friendly and professional. The shelter manager made the adoption a pleasant experience. The application process is very thorough and I wouldn’t want anything less. The shelter manager does everything she can to ensure the cats go to a good home. The shelter is very clean and the cats are very well taken care of. I highly recommend A Purrfect Fit!

One of the most disrespectful experiences I have ever had at a business. Most of the staff was kind enough, but I've never met someone as rude to potential customers as their manager. How you can act this way towards people wanting to adopt, it shocks me that they're even able to stay open. Said two kittens were available over the phone to find that they weren't able to be adopted for a week. Stated that She's not going to hold them for 3 days with a down payment, even though they aren't able to be adopted during that period anyways. If you want people to return, you should try acting professional towards your customers. Stay away from this place.

I've volunteered here and can say from experience that the regular volunteer staff really do care for these cats and put quite a bit of effort in ensuring they receive proper care before and after they are adopted. Cats and kittens are quite a bit of work, as they require much care and attention to ensure they are both healthy and ready for adoption. If some staff may seem rude or unprofessional, then I can assure you that it's because caring for these animals is rigorous work with long hours and heavy expenses. They really fight to ensure these cats and kittens are treated well whether at a clinic or being adopted. It really is amazing.

Hello, I am part of a Purrfect Fit rescue and I wanted to respond to Jackie Fiedler's post, as everyone knows animals are our first priority and making sure they have a loving home is the number 1 concern for us. As she mentioned, we do vet checks with all of our applicants to be sure any pets they own or had previously owned were up to date with their shots. Just as a persons health is incredibly important, so are our pets! Whether you have seen one vet your pets entire life or you've been to three or seven, we would like to know it all so we can be thorough and make sure that you are putting your pets health first. When we talk about this with our applicants it may sound mean to some people but we are just making sure that the little kitties we are sending home with you are ensured a safe and healthy future, just as you would want for your pets or kids or anybody in your family. In no way are we disrespecting you by asking for your pets full vet history, we are not calling anybody a bad pet owner or irresponsible, we are just being as in depth as we can to make sure the pets we adopt out will be taken well care of. Jackie, I do apologize about your feelings towards your visit and I do wish that you get to find a furry friend somewhere, but you sadly did not give us the chance to explain our process to you before you left. As I explained above we are just putting the pets life and health before anything else which is our biggest concern.

I have had such a wonderful experience with A Purr-fect Fit. I had the pleasure of fostering kittens and adopting two of my own through them. The staff and volunteers are friendly and helpful. The owner is kind and compassionate; it is obvious how deeply she cares about every animal that comes through her doors. I can’t thank her enough for the guidance and support she has given me. Thank you, A Purr-fect Fit, for all that you do!

A Purrfect Fit is a 100% all volunteer run shelter. Animals come first. They take the care of animals and the responsibility that goes with it seriously. Adopters are screened via vet checks or references. The cats are well cared for and clearly loved.

A Purr-fect fit is a wonderful shelter with staff that take pride in what they do. Chris, the owner, cares about animal safety above all else. She wants to make sure that each cat goes home to a loving and safe environment. This is why A Purr-fect Fit has certain criteria that potential adopters must meet before they can go home with a cat. This is not to slight any of their clientele, but to ensure that each adopter will do their due diligence and care for their pet. I respect Chris' devotion to all the cats at the shelter. She is not afraid to turn down potential adopters if there is any doubt about animal safety which highlights her undying love for all of her kitties. Thank you to Chris and her staff for all that they do. You all are truly making a difference and saving so many innocent lives. ????

I would highly recommend A Purr-fect Fit to cat lovers. They run a neat and tidy rescue, and have a great team taking care of the cats. We recently fostered and then adopted a kitten from them, and were extremely happy with our experience. Their cats and kittens are very well socialized and friendly, and are a great addition to any home. Ultimately, they care deeply about the animals they care for and work hard to ensure that they find great homes for great cats.
