You know beforehand what to expect. The store itself was clean and service was quick.

I’m split down the middle on this Petco location. I used to shop at Petco in West Babylon many years ago and it was my favorite pet store. Then things fell apart and the store went downhill fast. It was then I switched to shop at Petsmart and other stores. Now Petco has made some improvements, it’s cleaner, staff is friendlier, animals are better cared for, and selection has gotten a little better. The biggest downfall compared to Petsmart is Petcos prices are slightly higher priced, and selection of food flavors for dogs and cats is very limited. I usually shop blue wilderness for cats and Petco sells very few can flavors and doesn’t carry the tasty toppers food packets my cats love. They also don’t carry many crunchy blue dry treats. This combined with higher prices is why I cannot shop regularly at Petco, I really wish they would spend profit on expanding their selection and supply so I can shop there more often. They do however have healthier animals and many toys and accessories selection, I also found staff friendlier and it’s not as crowded while shopping.

Just a heads up, if you put the address in Google maps you'll be taken to the entirely wrong location - staff says they always have this issue so I'm not sure why they don't warn first time customers. Other than that, the groomer (Sabrina) was great. It was our first time so she looked at what I had booked, made some recommendations, and I ended up with a less expensive groom. Excellent customer service. My french bulldog came out smelling fresh and clean. I would definitely go back.

I moved to the area last November and since then the stock they have in cat food has diminished significantly. Every time I go there hoping they would increase the quality of cat food (dry & wet) they haven’t and more and more food have been not re stocked or discontinued. Then I go down the road to PetSmart and they have everything. Why has this Petco totally failing. Also, aisles are unorganized, some product packaging is even opened and then tossed behind other items. What’s happening ??

Nice store but we do most of our shopping at the Animal Pantry since the prices are comparable and the owner saves feral cats.

Big selection and good prices

Love petco especially since they price match to their website which is a HUGE savings. Employees are always helpful and polite.

Great service: the girl who does the grooming spent time with our aussi. She filed her nails, brushed her hair and bathed her very well. My doggie felt good and look neat. The groomer knows what she does for each specific ???? dog breed and spends getting time getting to know your pet.

All good dragon needed crickets to eat pick him up food and out the door we went

Would never bring my dogs here for a grooming again. After research/experiences here, I wouldn't buy anything for my pets from a Petsmart or Petco. Would much rather go down the street to a local petstore.

Pet trainer never showed up

I set up a grooming appointment for a haircut, bath, and teeth cleaning. When I get there the woman told me they don’t give my breed (Peagle, Pekingese and beagle long fur) a haircut and that I only scheduled a bath only. I’ve been to many other groomers who have cut my dogs hair with no issues and charged much less. I had to reschedule my entire day to accommodate this appointment only to waste my time. The app is garbage and the discounts only make the grooming the same prices as any other place on Long Island. I will not be coming back in the future.

As a former employee I know health and wellness is not the priority. Profit is. I'm reminded of it every time I walk into a petco.

I would honestly give this place 0 stars ! The worst Petco every ! Like people share and pass down not to go here ! It’s beyond annoying ! ! The grooming is the worst ! Really going to file a big complaint to corporate because what is this review actually going to do ! Just avoid here at all cost ! Especially regarding your dog !!

The people that work at Petco are very very.helpful. if they're busy with another customer they either call someone else to help or they say I will be back in 5 minutes, and they are.
