Very pleased with how my Dachshund turned out, first time using VIP and will continue to use them.

I have never heard of a groomer refusing to groom a pet for having epilepsy. My Dog is 10 years old, and has had Epilepsy since she was one month old. She has been under a vet's care and on medication since then. Today, they refused to take her in saying "it was not safe for the animal" for them to groom her. This is nonsense. The vet has not put any restrictions on the dog and has been to groomers 3-4 times per year, every year. They sounded so ignorant when talking to them about it. They made me feel like I was doing something wrong for trying take care of my dog. Codie is always afraid of vets and groomers. They made a big deal that she was shaking. God forbid they pet her to calm her down. Just Terrible! I spoke to the manager, who just repeated what the groomer said. I have never felt so bad for my dog.

This is the 3rd place I bring my puppy to be groomed. I’m not picky at all, I just want a job done right. VIP pet salon did just that. They didn’t keep my dog for 3 to 4 house like the other groomers did. They were done under 2 hours and my puppy looked and smelled fabulous. They also did a deep conditioner as a courtesy. The lady at the front desk is very pleasant and friendly! ????????

VIP pet grooming has proven to be the best groomer in our neighborhood and now we only take our Goldendoodle Daisy to them. Each time we brought Daisy, they did a great job of shampooing her, removing the tangles from her fur and giving her a wonderful cutting. They are consistently excellent. Just as importantly, the staff is courteous and professional. On one occasion, we were late picking her up (traffic), but they were very understanding and watched our dog until we got there. All round excellent groomers, wonderful people and reasonable rates. The only place we take our dog!

I took my Teddy to VIP. He was received so warmly by the staff. He came back to me all spiffy, shiny, and smelling great. I was worried that my puppy might be scared at his first visit to the groomer - but he loved the groomer as if she was his dog mommy!! The shop is not like other groomers- it is warm and comfortable and spotless too! Teddy and I can't wait to go back to VIP!

VIP Pet is such a lovely place to take your best furend! Sammy (puppy) and Brody (kitty) both had the full spa treatment! They smelled so lovely after their baths, their nails looked like they had manicures, and they came back happy! The studio is kept clean and tidy, the staff is super friendly, they are great at communicating, and they all wear cute masks and take hygiene seriously. We drove all the way from Brooklyn and will be returning the next time they need a bath! Worth the trip.

We brought our puppy Kat to VIP Pet for her first grooming experience. She was in desperate need of a haircut and dematting. VIP Pet did an amazing job removing the mats and they gave her a great haircut! We were very impressed with the experience and Kat loved it too. We will be going back in the future!

I called this business and spoke to a sweet woman named Cristina over the phone. She managed to make an appointment for me for the day after to have my Persian himalayan cat get a lion haircut. Normally it is very difficult to find good cat groomers in long island without having to wait 2-3 weeks for the next appointment. When I walked in to drop off my cat, I was greeted by Cristina and Ariana. They were very pleasant and professional. I met a young lady named Yasmin who was going to give my pet the lion haircut. She too was also sweet and professional. I explained what I was looking to have done and then I left. 2-3 hours later I was given a call and I returned to the business to find my cat very calm with her wonderful new haircut. This means all 3 ladies treated my pet with kindness and caring. Plus the haircut was great! I highly recommend this business to anyone who is looking to have great pet service by 3 wonderful ladies who treat one's pet with kindness and care. I treat my pet as if she were part of my family because she is and all 3 ladies understood, respected, and honored this concept. I will be going to VIP Pet Grooming from now on.

The groomers are professional, absolutely amazing and love what they do. They actually listen to their clients, provide sound advice and treat your dog/cat with loving care and respect. Had a wonderful experience with my 9 month old golden doodle. They did an amazing job, and they were able to handle her puppy anxiety and energy! She looks beautiful and they even played music to help calm her down. I highly recommend them.

WOW! What a fantastic groomer! We bought our 1.5 year old poodle mix for a groom, and she came back perfect. We have groomed her several ,times in the past, and have never had such amazing results. She listened to ideas on what we wanted her to look like and a couple of hours later we had to softest, cleanest most perfectly cut and happy dog! Would definitely recommend. Such a professional.

As a new pet owner I brought my 4 month old white lap in and since the moment we walked in they greeted us with great hospitality and showed me the vast service options and Couldn’t be more content with how they groomed her. & know they do dog day care They’re 1st on my to go list when I leave town. If you are looking for a luxury pet grooming experience, this is it. Took my poodle here and got the best grooming that my dog has ever had. Staff is friendly and proffesional. They came up with a plan for snowy's hair to grow longer and healthier. And not to mention place is super clean. Definitely my new grooming spot now

Today was my second time bringing my senior shih tzu to VIP Pet Grooming Studio and I have so many wonderful things to say. I didn't review first time in case it was too good to be true but it was a pleasant experience again! 1) SUPER clean - front and back! I was able to look throughout the building to see where my dog would be, and it was perfect! I love the play space 2) Fast and punctual - I can't stand the thought of leaving my dog in a place for hours off end in a stressful situation with a handful of other dogs. It's only 1-2 pets at a time and I get my dog back in less than 2 hours! 3) Wonderful staff - so friendly. They're wonderful with communication with texting and calling back 4) Great hair cuts - have been continually let down by other groomers when I would see the haircut. This is definitely the best hair cut he has ever gotten and listened to my crazy request of "Grinch-like" paw style! I could go on and on. They just really are so great with my pet and I had also sent my parents dog here. He's not always the friendliest and they were so great. I walked up today to Willie sitting on the lady's lap!!! A tad pricey, but you get what you pay for! It has been an absolute pleasure using them as my dogs groomer.

Price was more than expected at pick up; they charge extra $10 for clean face & paws for a poodle (never had to pay this before at 3 different salons). Was told my 10 month old poodle puppy had an ear infection. Drove home to look for a vet, since I just moved here. By the time I got home a mile away, there was blood all over his car crate like a crime scene. Called back on my way to the emergency vet to ask if they cut the quick of a nail or something; never heard back. Emergency vet cost me $180. Couldn't determine presence of ear infection, but did see several front nails that were cut severely short. That had to be extremely painful & traumatic for my puppy to endure, like torture! No reason for that abuse!

I would strongly caution you against using this business. A grooming visit on March 4, 2020 ultimately ended with us having to put our 4-month old puppy to sleep two days later as a result of their negligence or incompetence. When we brought our happy healthy puppy in for a bath and cut, we specifically discussed our concerns regarding our puppy’s hesitance to being bathed and the use of the clippers. We told the groomer that if there was any issue to stop and we would come get our puppy. Instead the groomer pushed our puppy through the process and only stopped and called us when it became very apparent that there was something physically wrong with our puppy. When we picked him up, he was clearly in distress, and we rushed him to the emergency vet. He had water in his lungs that the vet said could only have come from a dramatic physical accident at the groomer. Despite two days at the vet on a ventilator he continued to decline and we had to make the hard decision to let him go. We tried to discuss the situation with the groomer. They have taken no responsibility and in fact were abusive. They have threatened us financially and legally regarding telling our story. We will be pursuing legal recourse against this business when the courts reopen. You would be best finding another groomer.

AWFUL. Would not recommend. I was told the cost for grooming was $55. I scheduled the appointment and once I arrived, the price was almost doubled to $90. I would not trust this groomer or any quoted price. She was rude and refused to honor the price over the phone or lower it all. Insisted my 35lb dog was considered large. I can't imagine what the cost is for a 90lb dog. Save your time and go to a reputable groomer.
