I give them 5 paws! They are always there when my Eli has issues. Dr. Nancy has been amazing over the years. They are good people doing great things for animals!

This really isn’t anything about their service, but I really wish Nottingham and other vets in the area POSTED their availability on their website, or at least a message or something explaining that they’re unable to take new patients at the time. I understand that covid is still a concern, but when you have a pet that needs care, it’s such a waste of time to not be upfront with this information. I would have loved to take my kitten here since it’s so close to me, but as stated earlier I was told they are not accepting new patients at this time.

I've been bring my animals here for years! i would say they are good place to go. but then there are other times when you get receptionist (Melanie what ever)who are already in a mood who doesnt hear you out and wont relay messaging to the real doctors who know the problem more. i thought it was a rule to send the DOCTOR your messages and not for them to make the call on what is important or not. really had me ready to move my babies to Jamesville vet. but i called back and got to talk to another person (katie or katlynn) not really sure of her name but she made me feel better and was willing to make sure my concerns were heard and if i wanted to send any to my doctor she would make sure it reached them! she made me feel better and that saved us to keep going for a little while more one bad person can change how you see your pets office and really give you a change a heart. will be back soon to give my feed back as i hope it gets better again.

Excellent care, I hope all *my* doctors take as much time and care as these vets do with my cats.

Another great Syracuse veterinary office. If you live in the University area this is the place to go. Friendly staff and doctors.

We’ve been customers of Nottingham Pet Clinic for over 25 years (5 dogs and 4 cats). Even though we don’t live on the East side any more, we still travel there. All the staff are fantastic, the doctors are very willing to talk and explain what’s going on, and will call afterward to find out how your pet is doing. We tried another vet when we moved across town, but very quickly returned to Nottingham. As if their service and care weren’t enough to keep us coming back, their prices are also much better.

Very professional and courteous staff. They treated our anxious pup well when we had to drop him off for a surgery.

I love this clinic because of Dr. Freeborough. She is the best. She takes care of your pet with a lot of responsibility and kindness! Toffee ( my dog) is her patient For two years and every time she supports and advises us with a lot of good information and caring. These days we are far from Syracuse but she answered our email and call about Toffee the time and she has never stopped in helping us to take care of my little daughter's health. I recommend her 100% because she is so professional with a kind heart and responsible personality.

They are awesome with my mischievous and fussy cat. They just have so much patience and good humor. They work well together and seem to have a good toolbox of strategies to handle fussy animals gently but firmly. I'm super happy with Nottingham Pet Clinic. No complaints.

This is by far the worse clinic experience I have ever had in my 30 yrs of going to any vet. I came to this vet because I wanted a clinic that had multiple drs because my last vet didn't and it became a problem when you have a sudden illness and he was unavailable. First, issue not receiving any appt cards to let me know what anyone of my 5 animals were due for. This is even more important when they weren't scheduling followup appts so I was totally dependant on their notices to manage my pets vaccinations. Second, I was on vacation and my phone crashed so I lost my calendar reminder and had received a message saying I had an appt for a dog or cat and they weren't really sure. So I called to find out and said "it's helpful when you call to say who and what is due especially when someone has 5 pets. The staff was became defensive and rude and said it was a courtesy call. My reply was no "it's a reminder call" This same person scheduled two appts and when I came in for the first appt it wasn't in the calendar and the other one was scheduled on a completely different day. Third, no appt cards again a second time because they were sent out and this meant that one pet was now past due for his rabies shot. Fourth, one of their vets was apparently unhappy about the fact that my cat was declawed which was apparent on her face and when I spoke the owner I was told that this vet was anti-declawing. There is simply no reason for a vet to behave this way its very unprofessional. Fifth, and final issue. I already had a discussion surrounding our younger cat who was given 1 yr rabies vaccination and they said they like to give 1 yrs because of possible complications. I advised them that I wanted my cats to receive a 3 yr vaccine which was subsequently given in 2018. In 2019 my 16 yr cat was given a 1 yr rabies vaccine without consulting me. They do not have the right to make these decisions without discussing with their clients and they were already advised that I don't want a 1 yr vaccine. Most vets give 3 yr rabies vaccines and if they want to give 1 yr then they need to make the information available to their clients. Not just doing what they want to do especially when they have already been advised that I don't want a 1 yr rabies vaccine to be given. UPdated 6-11-19 please not that the owners response is what is problematic with this vet. The problem is simple: any and all protocols need to be discussed with clients. If they have recommendations they need to let them be know, but when they have already been advised on a clients position then that needs to be adhered to and they should have policies and procedures to ensure that the clients wishes are met. BTW: the owner had a tech called....my cat wasn't seen by a tech he was seen by the vet.

Have been coming here for many years now. They have 4 vets, one is a newbie. Like Dr. Joan & Dr. Nancy best. They are pricey at this clinic.

This is a place where the people truly love animals and help to make decisions about care. Have taken 3 of my dogs there over the years and had really good experiences with everyone there.
