The staff are amazing, they treat my pet like a superstar and with great care too. I always feel comfortable when she’s in for her visits at Northside Animal Hospital knowing that she’s in good hands. The vets work with you and are excellent in their explanations and follow ups. The staff are very friendly and patient. Dr Salemi thank you for your kind heart and evident love for animals. Shaun and Donna, thank you for going the extra mile to give detailed feedback or to just answer a question. Thank you to the lovely vet techs and other staff I meet during drop off and pick up. My experience with the whole staff was wonderful. So very helpful. They asked me questions with interest, & willing to hear me out with much interest as well when I shared the issues concerning my pet. Answered my questions patiently & politely. I have been going to Northside Animal Hospital for about 30 years, with all my various animals. If I didn't think they were the best I certainly would't have used them for all these years. I brought my dogs, cats and even a bird to them. They are very caring and will answer all your questions with patients.

Love Dr Salemi and Dr Borzio. They take the time to go over what they are doing. They answer all you questions and love all the animals that comes in the office

I have been going there forever- yes legitimately since I was a little girl! I have tried to try other vets to see ok let's step out of my comfort zone and you just don't get that same type of attention! My one dog is not a fan, just because it is going to a doctors office and he doesn't like it - a normal reaction. They are very patient with him and do not get annoyed when he is being a brat! They a very loving and caring. When my other dog had to go a specialist for her eye they would call to check up. Anytime my dogs end up in urgent vet care they call to follow-up to check in. They all know their stuff including Shawn, he is able to help you on so many things and is very knowledgeable. Honestly my review can keep going, simply because I have been with them for over 25 years and they have treated every dog I have ever loved! Highly recommend!

This was my first time bringing my dog to northside animal hospital! From the front desk, to the vet tech and dr Salemi everyone was super nice and extremely professional! My dog gets so nervous going to places but I can tell he being well taken care of! So glad I made the decision to come here, thank you northside animal hospital ❤️

I brought my bearded dragon in January 11th due to a large lump in his neck and the doctor said he didn’t feel a lump and everything felt normal. When he double checked after I said something continued to say there was no lump. I had my lizard for almost 4 years now and it never had a lump like that and it was hard to miss due to how big and hard the lump was. I bought him to another exotic vet yesterday which confirmed the lump and got proper treatment for him. I would not recommend bringing a lizard with a health issue here and they over charge on the vet visit for absolutely nothing.

This place was awesome. I had rescued an injured and distraught pigeon the other night, they took her in the next morning and clearly care about these birds that are usually considered pests. If you ever rescue a pigeon or a wild bird and are on the in the staten island area please bring them here.

Excellent vets. Would recommend. Knew immediately what my cat had and handled my cat very gently.

Everyone here are on the same page. From the front office to the doctors; they are all working to get you the service you are looking for. They are knowledgeable and understanding. They really are great caretakers for your pets.

Amazingly caring doctors, took my guinea pig on an emergency after 8PM. Courteous, kind, knowledgeable and upfront. I asked about an x-ray and the Dr advised we didn't need one. Not trying to upsell services. All the fees were disclosed upfront with me. Had a great experience!

Not only are the Doctors amazing and gentle, but the ENTIRE staff is kind, professional, and is so loving with each animal. I will never go to another vet. They price everything fairly, and provide the absolute best care. Both doctors have always taken time to explain absolutely everything to me and I am confident in their care. I have never been to the office before .. I saw all these great reviews. My pup hurt his leg and is walking on 3 legs right now. I see the website says they are open till 7pm. I just called to see if i can bring him in for x-ray and was told "if its for today we dont have a veterinarian in the office today" can someone explain how this is even possible?? When you are open and are an animal hospital, but there is no Dr?? Or am I the only one Confused About this??

???? The best vet docs ! ???? For at least 16 years, these two docs took good care of my precious little Sadie Pretty Lady Garcia ???? All the way to our heartbroken end with her ???? So gracious & compassionate - forever grateful to the docs & awesome staff ???? Highly recommend ❣
