If your pet friend needs to see a vet - the doctor here is very good. Efficient, honest and frankly, more affordable than most other places within a 10 mile radius - NY or NJ.

I been taking my dogs here for 15 years excellent service from the staff to doctor villa delgado. This man is so awesome he cares more for the animals them anything he ain’t about the money and I thank this man for his services 10 plus stars for this place for sure thank you.

Doctor is knowledgeable but does not allow you to speak. I don't know how he thinks he's getting a full picture of your animals health unless he hears from you what has been happening.

I was a first time dog owner and went to Dr. V since I got my puppy 12 years ago. He seemed great at the time but I didn't know he wasn't recommending or mentioning things he should have like senior blood screenings. Something recommened you do for dogs annually after age 7. 5 years and never once mentioned this in my dog's annual check ups. Also after diagnosing my dog with cushings disease when he was little and putting him on medication he never ran follow up tests or blood tests to keep an eye on the condition. Something I now know is highly recommended with a diagnosis of cushings to make sure there is no complications. Sadly we learned of all this around 5 days ago when my dog started to have a seizure. After taking him to 24 hour emergency place they also found issues with 3 abdominal organs. Long story short we had to put my dog down. If Dr.V had done the senior screenings and follow up on cushings we could have at least seen some of these issues coming. While I can't guarentee it would have saved my dog I can say he wouldn't have had so many problems at once that made treatment an impossible route. Normally I wouldn't blame a doctor for not catching something but the fact he never mentioned or suggested any follow up tests for years or a senior blood panel in any of the 5 yearly check ups after it would have been recommended. It's way too negligent to give a free pass. I highly recommend you go elsewhere. R.I.P Kiba

Dr.V is a great veterinarian and I trust him. His charges for his services are the most reasonable on the Island. They reason why I can't give five stars to the office is because of the long wait, not less than 2 hours and some times 3 - 4 hours.

I just want to thank Dr.V for taking care of my puppy very well, and the staff as well, not only were they very assuring, and kind, but they also took proper precautions due to covid. I will definitely bring my puppy back here again!

The staff, Doctor are all friendly and patient. The are caring and I really like this place. The are also very reasonable and take new patients! A lot of other Veterinarians on Staten Island refuse to take new patients and are extremely high priced! So thankfully Forest Animal is here for the care that they offer.

The Forest Animal Hospital seem like a nice place. What I find heartbreaking is that they don't answer their phones and don't have answering machine service. So one should go there directly to see if they are open. My dog recently got neutered and wasn't drinking or eating for 4 days or passing a bowel movement. (I purchased a dropper for liquids and baby food. I trying to call them and pretty much annoyed that no one picked up the phone. So I went there directly. Their suggestion was to give her dairy and the person didn't even remembered me or the dog. Luckily at work I had spoken to a worker whose wife is a manager at Veterinarian hospital in Brooklyn. She suggested a nutritional gel and to change her food intake to more table food (temporary) like home cooked ground turkey w/ carrots & peas. FAH has a wonderful setup to care for residents pets but I believe if they take their time and put more feelings and give a list of what a pet needs during a procedure or give a callback to find out how the pet is doing. This place can be the BEST in Staten Island.

They are very kind, courteous and very professional. The prices are very reasonable as well. I will definitely recommend this place to all of my pet owning friends. This place will also be my pets permanent vet. Extremely satisfied!

I usually use Adobe animal hospital but they were booked. I had an emergency with my Cat and I was seen the same day. Dr. V is a very good vet and the staff is very nice. I highly recommend this place.

Best animal hospital on Staten Island, and probably in closest NJ area. They literally save my cat. Appointment not required. But they can serve only limited number of clients during the day. So somewhere after 13-00 they probably will not accent any sign ins. Parking is also very limited. But hey, saving you cat live - worth getting ticket. If you pet requires x ray(they did not provide it) they can reccomend you other clinic on Staten Island where you will get discount by their reference.

My dogs go there and i like the prices.

Such a great place. Treated my puppy so kindly and the prices are great too. Also, when my other dog passed away they took care of her and made her comfortable. Nothing but good things here.
