The only thing i will say is a down fall.... 1 hour each person for $15?! Children for the same price?!... that's ridiculous! Edit: I fixed the admission fee. I still don't agree with the per hour for children. I supervise my kids, even when i don't want to go in because of my allergies acting up that day (or that being the cover story to my kids because we got attached to one, just to find out it's bonded to another), i still go on in because for 1, i didn't have a choice to pay for myself as well so i mind as well go in and try not to get attached to any kitties. 2. Occasionally my youngest, needs the supervision of not picking up the kitties while my oldest is distracted by them. Also children dont really do coffee or tea, may be including kid enjoyed drinks could help with that. As for other kitty cafe's not allowing children, i havnt had that experience. All ive personally gone to were child friendly. I understand its for a good cause but i think people would be more inclined to stay longer if it were (as an example) $15 for the first hour and $5 for every additional hour.

I've been here multiple times and I always leave in such a good mood. Everyone there is so friendly and knowledgeable about each cat and their individual personalities. There is so much for them to do, so many toys and beds and the whole place is clean and welcoming. Even if you're not in the market to adopt a new kitty, I highly recommend stopping in and hanging out with them for a little while. It's nice to know that all the fur babies are being well taken care of at all times. Will definitely be returning!

What a wonderful place full of sweet kitties, good iced tea, and friendly, caring staff. These kitties are so well cared for and looking for fur-ever homes. You can easily book time online to spend an hour playing, petting, and snuggling the cats. And when you're done, they have a cute shop in front. I highly recommend going!

Some of the best people doing some really wonderful things for the community. Answered all of the questions I had without missing a beat and helped me understand some things I had no idea about. Nothing like the Shabby Tabby on Long Island. Really cute items for sale too! Support local Buy local!!!

I came here a week ago for one of the trivia nights & it was so relaxing and I’m planning on coming again someday. For someone with anxiety, I was actually really relaxed and happy the entire time I was in there. Being around a lot of cats helped that but the girls who work there were so nice too & i felt comfortable as soon as I walked in. I can’t wait to come back :) *also I’m in love with all of the cats*

I love visiting the cafe. Friendly staff, purrrrfect cats in all shapes and sizes. It’s clear that the staff put their heart and soul into their non-profit work. I adopted two cats from the cafe and appreciate all the love they have brought into my life!

this place is cat heaven. there are so many cats waiting to be adopted and after my first visit, i adopted my 6 year old sweet heart. i’ve never had a cat before, but ryan and melanie gave me tips and advice. although the shabby tabby has many cats, you would never know because it’s so beyond clean. the owner and staff obviously know what they’re doing. the cats are all well kept, and it seems like they really enjoy the free range of the cafe. their passion for rescuing and getting cats a furever home is apparent. it’s a nice space to relax, get some work done, and get some love from these cats. i highly recommend checking it out and i couldn’t be happier with my cat.

Love this place so much. Finally took my boyfriend the other day and we both had such a nice time. They made us 2 iced coffee’s during our stay and we weren’t rushed at all as we said hello to all the kitties. So many sweet older kitties were being overlooked for these 3 very cute kittens so we hovered on the older ones a bit longer. The owner Ryan is so sweet, along with the whole staff. We’re already looking forward to going back. The place is also very clean and the staff is very attentive to both the guests and the cats.

As a repeat visitor, it’s been great to see the cats who are coming out of awful situations get the care they need and deserve, while waiting for safe homes. I see some reviews of people being mad that the cats need medicine or look like they have problems. If you talk to the staff, you’ll often get the back story, sometimes very sad stories, about where they’ve been found & rescued from. I recommend going back for follow up visits to see the cats improvement. Visiting Shabby Tabby also proved to be a great way for us to adopt a cat. Seeing how she was around other cats, out in the open, allowed us to pick the cat that would fit in at our home.

I've been coming to the cat cafe since the year they opened. It is always such an amazing experience every time I go there, to see all these cats being taken care of by selfless people, and then get adopted into loving homes where they can live happily, it's beautiful. Keep up the good work! These cats are so lucky to have y'all take care of them before their new family finds them.

Most friendliest cafe I’ve ever been to, the staff care so deeply for their cats/kittens. Each cat has their own signature personality that would befit anyone that’s willing to adopt them. I’ve adopted my first cat from shabby and I’ve never been more happy with mango/hazel. The staff make sure you’re comfortable upon entering and their merchandise is amazing. I would seriously consider coming to this cafe for just coffee and engaging with cats.

The Shabby Tabby is a wonderful place for people of all ages! I go several times a month just to spend time with a few beautiful fur babies who only want love, pets, and a furever home! Come show them some love!!

Love love love this spot! The cafe does such an incredible job at providing a loving environment for these kitties waiting to be adopted. It’s amazing that they are able to give them a free-roaming space outside of cages as they wait for their forever homes. Thank you for all you do! We’ll definitely be back to visit again ????

I absolutely love this place. The staff are some of the nicest people and the cats are adorable. There are also unlimited hot drinks which I find very nice. It’s funny because I’ve never been much of a fan of cats, I was always kind of scared of them but I came here to face my fears and I realized there’s no reason to be scared of them. They are all so kind! I will definitely be coming back here soon!

Love cats but these felines need a lot of TLC. You walk in and hit with the stench of cat urine and spraying. It was choking. Then there was an older cat that was vomiting, not a hairball, VOMITING. Definitely needed medical attention. The idea of the cat Cafe is noble but if you have no intentions to properly take care of the cats you shouldn't be in business.
