To begin with, I am not one to usually post negative reviews or feel the need to air gripes, but in this case I am simply advising prospective clients to look elsewhere. As others have mentioned, appointments here are only available months in advance. I know this and planned accordingly. I scheduled an appt months ahead of time and showed up early on the day of. After waiting in my car for an hour past the scheduled time, I went inside an was told it would be another hour. I had planned my day around this, but being that I have a job, waiting two hours was just not possible so I had to just leave. Having worked in animal hospitals before, I would simply say this is not a functioning practice and anyone shopping for a vet. should look elsewhere.

I have been taking my dog here for the past 2 years. The front desk staff are always friendly and helpful. The doctors are wonderful and provide excellent service. I trust this practice.

I take my fur babies here, I would not bring them here if I didn't think they would not receive top notch treatment. Unfortunately Covid has made it difficult to schedule appointments but I highly recommend Saugerties Animal hospital.

Have had poor experiences over the past few years and now their Covid hysteria is second to none. Treat their patrons like they are lepers. I’m done with them.

I really expect my food to be hot !!! It wasn't as busy as it usually is so there us no excuse ..

Very compassionate and capable veterinarians. My 10 yr old German Shepherd goes here for his weekly acupuncture and is pain free. The herbs are helpful as well. I am so happy to be able to help my boy live his best life without pain.

We have been with the over 25 years and ha e been very happy.

Fantastic loving vets and staff. They're so good that they're extremely busy though so it is hard to get a non-emergency point fast.

Great doctors and staff

Most of the vets are amazing!

I was in and out very quickly. The doctor and nurse made my dog feel comfortable. Covid guidelines were followed.

They are very nice there. They also take the time to explain what is wrong with your pet.

First time there Very pet friendly. The veterinarian was very good.

I was on time for my Appointment and was told to fill out the questionnaire out side .I waited while a person went inside. Then I was told that I was late and I needed to make another appointment weeks later. Iwas new and didn't know to let them know I was waiting.

They treat my Shephard Kause like a king, best customer service ever and they always pretend to know me with loving smile that to me job quality One!????

We have been going to Saugerties Animal Hospital since we moved to the area many years ago, and Dr. Rothstein has been so caring and skilled in the treatment of our dogs and cats. The staff there are amazing.they are right on point with my animals.My mugs was delivered there .i couldn't ask for a better place to take my animals.prices are very reasonable compared to other places...My dog needed surgery and other vets were really really high prices like 2 grand or more they worked with me I live them very much...my animals are like my children .They are so kind and nice above all they treat you with respect...they are always there for there people always I love them

The staff, doctors, vet techs and reception are all wonderful.

I appreciated there caring staff. They perfectly explained the procedure performed on my dog Bodie. They gave me great instructions for his recovery so he was quickly back to his energetic self.
