I highly recommend Parrots of the world, if you're looking to purchase a bird. They're hand raised, well taken care of and friendly!

The way they keep their reptiles is sickening. When trying to educate hun he just makes excuses and calls himself a breeder and says they’re thriving because they’re able to breed. Someone needs to rescue all these poor animals and shut this place down. Animal abuse is what’s happening here. He doesn’t even know how to house them properly or their correct care nor does he care.

today i went to get my first pair of parakeet and the the were 75 each and the cage was 45 the food was 35 all up to 225 the staff was really nice a lot of options birds are well train and they talk too

Got a good deal on a parrot.

This place needs to be shut down for animal abuse and unfit living conditions. All of the birds are crammed into glass cages with dirty water climbing on top of each other. If u love animals do not support this establishment. They had an African bat in a parakeet cage for 20 years sitting by the register. Disgusting.

This is one of the best parrot store, little bit expensive but worth it. Marc is very helpful takes good care of all the birds.

Greatest bird store anywhere. No one knows and cares more about birds (and all animals) than Marc. I got my two green cheek conures there and they are awesome. Every time I go in there I learn more about my birds. He also grooms them. A pleasure to go there every time!

Staff is really friendly and pets are adorable.

Owner was obviously annoyed by customers late in the evening even though he was open till 8pm. Birds are overpriced. They were however pretty well kept for how many there were although I would not purchase from here. I also noticed that the toys were tremendously overpriced!

They are the most irresponsible store and breeders. They provide ZERO information on the correct foods conures should eat, what to avoid, or any information at all about them. they are very sensitive birds and as breeders it's their responsibility to inform future owners on everything they need for proper care and home. Shame on you and I will fight until you are shut down for this.

This was our first time there and they have so many birds to look at and buy. If you’re looking for a beautiful bird, this is your place. We came for the fish and they have a large selection of fresh water fist and plants. Really nice locally owned power store!!!

Great selection of animals. And the owner is real knowledgeable and patient. My girlfriend told me he used to have a show on the animal channel or something like that. Wasn't really paying attention, I was too busy looking at all cool parrots and rabbits. Buf great place for all your pet needs not just for parrots.

terrible guy. does nothing to explain healthy and non healthy things for birds to be encountered with. staff is super rude and non helpful! my bird every time we got him groomed he bled:( now due to him being unhealthy he passed away. mark didn’t tell us the risks our bird had and it caused us it’s life, 2 years ago. we now have another conure from bird paradise in nj it’s a great store and worth the trip. they give you a lesson about what’s healthy and unhealthy aswell as great staff and food aswell as wonderful scenery and experience. if you are looking to buy your next bird defenitly go to birds paradise in. nj!!!!

I just want to thank Mark from the bottom of my heart for taking in our parrot harley. we bought Harley when he was three months old and he was part of our family for 15years. My husband was injured at work and we could not afford to live in NY any longer. The house we were suppose to buy fell through and we had to move and stay in a hotel. we were heartbroken that we could not take harley with us, we were very worried that we would not be able to find someone we could trust to take him. We went and spoke to Mark who immediately said not to worry that he would gladly take Harley. When we got Harley we thought he would be in our family forever but, sometimes our lives do not go as planned.. we will always be grateful to mark for being such a kind and loving person.

Marc Morrone, the owner, is a renowned animal expert who has appeared on TV many, many times with Martha Stewart and others. We bought a guinea pig there a year ago, and we got another today. Completely happy with the purchases and the shopping experience.
