Thank you for being open 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week. I brought my dog in around 10:30 pm. I was informed that there may be a wait because of surgeries. Because of your quick response and quality of care, you saved Fiona's life. We are so grateful.

I would like to thank Dr. Lombardi and the entire staff of East End Vet for the immediate attention and 24 hour care giving to our dog Max from 1/10/21until his passing 1/15/21. Max was viciously attacked by a pit bull. You immediately took our Max out of pain when he arrived. Our hearts are broken. Max brought our family so much JOY. Thanks again. (Grandma-Rebecca, Mom-Tiesha, brother-Isaac Moore)♥️

1/13/22: In response to the owners response to my review: I was not provided multiple options as stated in their response. I also called the office twice once before 4 pm and once after 9 am. Both times i was told that Margaret the Director was not available to speak with me to discuss my concerns and I could call back later. My new puppy was suffering from a bad case of kennel cough. So I brought him to East End at around 8 P.m. I was seen by a vet for about one minute and the vet left. A nurse then came in and told me that my dog was going to die if I didn’t immediately leave a $3600 deposit and let him stay at the hospital. I immediately told them that I would admit him and pay the extremely high $3600 deposit. They then came back and told me that they had no day staff And I would have to drive back in the morning and pick my dog up at 6 AM in the snowstorm. Just to keep my dog there from 8 PM to 6 AM they wanted $1800. I asked them if they were any alternatives and any help that they could provide me if I brought him home and brought him to my own vet in the morning. They told me that my vet would just send me back there and that they weren’t able to give me anything for my dog except for fluids. I asked if i could speak with the vet again. The nurse left, talked with the vet and the vet said no she was too busy. I ended up leaving East End with no help. One vial of fluids for my puppy an anti-nausea medication and a 400 dollar bill. They didn’t offer me a stronger antibiotic, they didn’t offer to do any x-rays while I was there, my own vet who I ended up taking my puppy to was apalled that they told me he was going to die and upset me the way that they did. It’s almost a week later. My puppy is on a stronger antibiotic. Never needed hospitalization. Never needed oxygen or IV intervention. I will never go back there and I suggest that you don’t either.

All of the staff was amazing and very attentive. They listened and worked with us to help our pup get the treatment she needed. I could feel the care and compassion they had from my girl and wanted to help her and make sure she got the care she needed. The vet and vet tech was amazing and made sure my girl would receive the care she needed.

Everyone was so helpful and polite. I would have no problem bringing my little girl here all the time. Everything from the initial phone call to her care was perfect.

Very fortunate my dog was seen here. Everyone was so attentive and friendly starting with the front desk. I walked in scared and the nurse was sweet and fast to take my dog in. The doctor was very knowledgable and understood my financial circumstance and discussed with me all my options. They followed up with me to give me updates. But be aware, if they are at full capacity they cannot take more pets in. I went the next day to get my dog and it took 2-3 hours for discharge. It’s understandable as they are the closest to the east end. Due to them, my dog is still here with us and a happy one.

I took my dog to this emergency hospital- and upon arrival (after traveling an hour) was told they aren’t seeing any more patients, they were too busy. My dog has reoccurring pneumonia, and all I needed was antibiotics, I have been to the hospital previously, and I told them exactly what I needed. The receptionist was dismissive, and told me, I could travel to seldan to the nearest other emergency hospital. She wouldn’t even call to see if they could take me (I called and they said it was 1 1/2 hour wait). There was only one other car in the parking lot. I don’t understand how this place can say they are an emergency hospital and they dismiss people bringing their animals in an emergency. I saw them turning someone else away as I was leaving.

I am very happy with the care my pet received at this hospital. The front office is kind, receptive, and professional. They are responsive to phone calls. The physician's are professional, intelligent and properly diagnosed my pet's illness. I had a clear understanding of what to do moving forward. I would recommend this to anyone looking for speciality or emergency care for their pet

My dog was having issues at home after he was brought in for a seizure. After being told medication would be delivered the next day and wasn't, I called for help. I explained my dogs health was declining and could go get the medicine in person. I left messages with people at the front desk for the DR to please call me back. I never got any call and my dog had to be put down later that night.

Very horrible service and the people there are horrible as well. Especially the translator. She was very rude and was very impatient with my family. She caused my family to be in emotional destress as she told the main vet something and the vet yelled at my family and wasn't helpful at all. Very rude and disrespectful.

It is an emergency clinic so it is more expensive than most places. We had a tough situation with a litter of puppies and the staff was incredible. Dr. Jen was fantastic!!! She helped us out immensely

Everyone has been so amazing and caring. I know that my cat is receiving great care and the staff is never tired of me asking a million questions or calling for updates. The staff's clear communication and compassion has helped me through this experience tremendously.

This office was amazing. Last night I brought my very hurt dog to them and they were so professional and understanding. Answered all my questions and didn’t rush any of my decisions. Thank you for making a very hard night a little easier.

They had to deliver the unfortunate news of our dog having terminal lung cancer. They handled the situation with compassion and grace, making such a terrible situation somewhat tolerable. Angels work here. Thank you for caring for our Charlie.

I brought my dog having seizures. Thry kept him overnight. Charged me $1300. We pick him up and they bring him out on a stretcher and say he can't walk because of medications. Overnight the meds never sedated him, we hadcto clean up as he was peeing and having bowel movements while he was laying and unable to move. Called the vet and was told he had to adjust to meds. He screamed all night long and next day spoke with them and then brought him in and had to put him to sleep. They never offered to euthanasia just a big bill. There is no way they didn't know he was brain damaged. I trusted them with his life and they only cared about the bill. Don't bring your pets there!

I was welcomed and felt important. I felt like my dog was in amazing hands. It was the first time I have ever been here. And I will totally come back and Recommend this place to everyone I know. The care and patience of everyone. The friendliness of everyone is wonderful You treated my dog like he was your dog

Absolutely the rudest, nastiest bunch of people since Margaret McLoughlin and Compassion First took over from Dr. Vatash, who was an absolute pleasure to work with for 15 years. The vet who saw my cat, who was brought in for a serious limp, diagnosed him as having "a limp" without even x-raying him. Totally incompetent. The cat had osteosarcoma and suffered needlessly for two weeks until he had to be put down as a result of their sloppy, lazy exam. Moreover, they refuse to give me my medical records and hang up the phone when I call to ask for them.

My dog Jake, was hit by a car on a weekend. The East End Vet Clinic is the closest emergency facility to me. I have been there twice and found them to be caring, responsive, and professional in their practices. My dog was immediately seen and within 15 minutes I was speaking to a vet about his injuries and care. I can't say enough about how they helped calm my nerves and made a difficult day easier to deal with.

I cannot rave about everyone at the East End Veterinary Center enough. We came in in an emergency and our puppy was in critical condition. The team dropped everything and did everything they could do save her, which they thankfully were successful in doing. Every doctor and staff member we spoke to was kind, patient and empathetic. We knew Ruby was in excellent care and cannot thank everyone there enough. Despite the awful circumstances which brought us to the East End Veterinary Center, the experience was excellent - the care, the ongoing communication and the compassion. Thank you!

Our beloved 13 year old Westie needed to be euthanized, we had never even been to this practice, and they treated us, and our Quigley, with tenderness and compassion. We will never forget what they did for our little dog. Dr. Amy Morgenstern knew what had to be done, and with her and Dana’s help, we brought him over the rainbow bridge. Thank you, Denis and Kate Joyce.

Great care for dog with many issues -- Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, diabetes and eating issues. Vet listened and did GI scan to find stomach inflammation caused by RMSF. Vet & staff helped him eat, got him on right insulin dose, and started antibiotics. He was in tough shape when admitted and so much better when discharged. Thank you.

The kindest, most compassionate, informative, helpful people on the staff. From front desk to the techs to the doctors everyone is so caring. Really cared for my kitten like she could have been yours and it made all the difference. Eased my worries. Gave specific and helpful instruction. I can go on

My dog was in serious condition and unable to breathe due to congestive heart failure. We brought her in to the hospital immediately. We were told that after x-rays and bloodwork they would call us with results. After 3 phone calls and 4 1/2 hours later we had to drive back and demand answers. We realize there are other serious issues they deal with but this was totally upsetting to us. Two years ago our other dog was mis -diagnosed by them and our pet died two days later. We will not go back there again!!!
