Update (2 days later): I'm reducing the rating from 3 stars to 1. I took my dog to a different vet today for a second opinion and she thoroughly examined him before diagnosing a bacterial infection. She repeatedly ran her fingers over his skin and found pus nodules on his legs, considered the skin flaking on his tail, scabs on his back, looked at the flaking rash on his underside and took his other behaviors into account before drawing a conclusion. She prescribed antibiotics and mentioned a mild disinfecting shampoo that might be helpful. Had we not gotten the second opinion elsewhere, I'm worried the dog might have continued to get worse while remaining highly and unnecessarily uncomfortable. Based on the reviews, I expected more from Quaker animal hospital. --------------------------------------------------------- I've been here twice. The first time, to update my dog's vaccines. My experience was that the vet looked at and spoke to me with an air of contempt but I shrugged it off because she was nice to my dog. Today I brought him in with a rash on his underside and severe itching. She ran a flea comb through him, said "two flea eggs" (black pepper specks) and abruptly declared a flea allergy. I'm skeptical. He's bathed regularly, flea-combed after every walk (with no evidence of fleas), and previously had a similar rash in the same problem area diagnosed (and cured) by a different vet as bacterial. This vet didn't look at the rash (at all). Next she quickly administered what I presume to be an allergy shot -- she said the injection would suppress itching up to two weeks. I was surprised to learn after-the-fact that it was $40. I likely would have given the dog a zyrtec and, worst case, a flea bath. The appointment itself lasted less than 10 minutes and my bill was $90. Overall I felt it was a half-hearted diagnostic and would have liked to have been informed of fees up front rather than surprised at the counter.

Took our puppy there when we first got her for a check up and they were awesome! Took her there today for an emergency visit and they were the best, informative and knowledgeable. Wouldn’t take my animals anywhere else!

Price was great for what we needed. Cannot pay in advance so pickup might be an inconvenient situation. Does not take CareCredit card.

All of the staff were extremely friendly with our family and dog. The doctor spent time answering a list of questions that we had when bringing in our newly-adopted, adult dog. They tested for heartworm, expressed the dog's anal glands, gave him an exam, and sent us home with plenty of information and meds for a kennel cough diagnosis. The staff were all around empathetic, friendly, and supportive. Hank, our dog, loved all three memvers of the staff he met and gave them plenty of kisses. We will definitely bring him back here for future check ups. My wife and I both highly recommend Quaker Animal Hospital.

We brought our first dog here for a checkup after a GI emergency. They were great with him and let us know what was going on at every step of the way. Now, we bring all our dogs and cats here and can't imagine going anywhere else. Everyone is always friendly, they genuinely care about the animals and their prices are always less than I expect! We've never had a bad experience. Thank you guys for giving our animals the same love and care you would give your own!

I'm so above and beyond grateful to ALL of the staff at Quaker Animal Hospital. The care we were given from checkin to checkout was above par. I was in tears at checkin because my cat has never really been sick in 16 years and to think there might be something wrong with her kills me. They were so compassionate and patient with me blubbering through my contact info. The vet and vet tech were so attentive and very down to earth. They loved my baby as much as I do. So beyond grateful for them! Thank you all!

Dr. Kali, Jami, Ashley and Kim, most compassionate and friendly. Spot on diagnosis, treatment and meds to take home. They always follow up. My baby boy Brobie loves them, as they make this mommy calm down.

Dr. Dragonslayer and her staff are down to earth and very loving to our pets. I feel the billing is very fair for the services and we really enjoy the smaller atmosphere offered here. Thank you for everything ladies!

I got in quickly when needed to be seen, and your not charged an arm and leg for a visit. I will be staying with them after searching for a good vet. Thank you for being so great!
