All the positive reviews here are accurate. Sadly they’re now so busy that they’re not accepting new pets. Despite the fact we brought our prior dog there for over 11 years and after we put him down we sent donuts and a thank you. I had asked for consideration to accept our new dog as a client and I as told no. So much for that family treatment. Sad that this was their response. Success changes people and businesses.

We have been customers of Family Pet for years for our dogs and cats and they have always been professional, highly skilled, and compassionate. Today we had to let go of one of our buddies, and Dr. Troyan and her staff helped make a devastating day into one of a quietly painless passing. We highly recommend Dr. Troyan and Family Pet.

I will only bring my animals to The Family Pet Clinic! Dr. Tara Troyan is an amazing vet.; she's thorough, compassionate, and truly cares about her clients (whether they be canine, human etc.). In addition, the vet technicians are available to answer any questions you may have and are absolutely fantastic with the pets.

I have been taking my pug who is going to be 15 years old this year for several years now. They are kind and compassionate. They even like my crazy pomeranian. Just kidding. Highly recommend them if you leave in the area

DR.TARA Saved My Dogs Life! The staff are extremely caring.

I called 10 vets today and this was the only place that could see my senior cat ASAP who hasn’t eaten in 2 days and had excessive vomiting/diarrhea. Due to COVID, I couldn’t go in with him but they were so fast and efficient. I thought their prices were very fair considering my cat had an exam, bloodwork, shots and medication. This is definitely our new vet and I can’t thank them enough.

These are the absolute best vets I could have ever asked for They helped us sooooo much with our Liebe and her allergies and continuously throughout the 3 years that we have had her Most recently with her arthritis As long as I'm on Long Island I will never go anywhere else I cannot express my gratitude love and appreciation for Family pet clinic Dr Troyan the other vets and all of the vet techs I am so happy I found them ????????????????????????????????????????

I have brought my puppy there now for 3 visits and one surgery and they have been nothing but pleasant and helpful

Initial treatment was fine but wouldn't give us an appointment to change her cast because we took her to a surgeon other than the two they recommended (both one hour away.) Said they never heard of surgeon we saw and that he never sent report or xrays so they wouldn't see her. Real runaround...they never called back to inquire about kitten! Not going back!

Hello have to say I’m been going to Family Pet Clinic very long time now since they move to Patchogue the vets are fantastic and the staff very friendly and caring always. Dr. Troyan is the most amazing veterinarian around. She is compassionate and loving and truly the best. She is phenomenal in diagnostics and medicine. I highly recommend her.

Needed a vet closer to home. The staff was awesome and practiced covid protocols. They were super friendly and knowledgeable. They took great care of my older dog. Overall an excellent experience and will definitely be a customer for life!

My family has been seeing Dr. Troyan before she had her own practice and we followed her here. She is the most loving, caring and compassionate vet. She takes her time, answers all questions and looks out for the best care in your pet. Our Pomeranian Romeo (he lived until 17!) was given the best care his entire life completely under Dr. Troyan's care. I have a new Pomeranian (Rocky) and he absolutely adores the entire staff as well. Highly recommended!

Very friendly and helpful staff. They are willing to work with your needs. As my girlfriend and I had a service puppy in training they were very welcoming of him.

We brought our brand new puppy to get checked and we couldn't be happier. Staff was very friendly. The Dr was super informative and very kind. You can tell they really care about the animals.

I would definitely recommend this vet! I have two dogs and have been taking them there for about three years now. We usually see Dr. Chen, but we've also seen Dr. Troyan several times. Both of them are kind, knowledgeable, and professional. All the techs are friendly and clearly love animals, the building is clean, the women at the front desk always do their best to get us in on short notice when one of the dogs is sick, and the prices are what I expect from a vet after having dogs for over a decade.

Horrible customer service. Had to call repeatedly to get my dogs test results. I finally received a call back from Dr. Troyan 2 days later(on a Friday), informing me my dog needed surgery and the office manager would call me Monday to schedule surgery. Well now it's Wednesday and surprise, no call! How can I trust my dogs life with your practice when I can't even expect a return phone call?? I have now requested my dogs records and will be finding another vet.

Always great care for my doggo, from when she was a pup to her senior years. Dr. Troyan is amazing (as is her staff), always there with a smile and a caring heart. I feel that she truly cares about all the animals she treats... not just mine. Never tried to upsell!! Just wants what’s best for your furry friend!

I have been going here for a year now. Was new to the area and needed a vet for my cat and dog who are both 13. I highly recommend taking your animals here. They are very nice and knowledgeable. They are able to do surgery and X-rays on site. They have added years to my babies lives by the great care they give.
