I'm very happy with the care my dog Rudy receives at Veterinary Care Group-Oyster Bay. Dr. Jamie Zhen is kind, professional, empathetic. I appreciate her clear explanation of her treatment plans. I also like that the staff is also very professional & caring, and that someone always calls me to follow up on Rudy's progress.

Very helpful and loving staff, truly dedicated to making our furry family feel better. Clean and efficient office.

The staff at Village Vet in Oyster Bay are amazing. They are so kind and compassionate with my dog, he doesn’t mind going to the vet at all. They’re helpful and give me all the information I need without requiring me to spend more for extra services. I’ve been going here for about 3 years now and I will absolutely continue. Dr. Zhen is brilliant and gentle and both me and my dog always leave there feeling better

We love everything about this practice - from the caring technicians, professional veterinarians and clean, open office and exam space! I always feel that Ellie is in great hands after our visits. They always have time for our ‘emergencies’.

I've had some iffy experiences at other vets but since this location has opened, I know that my pets are in good hands with a group of caring individuals. Dr. Zhen and Michelle are amazing (the whole team really is) and they've really gone above and beyond for my cats. We've gone through some tough times - such as putting down a pet, but also good times- like making sure the rest of our cat family are healthy. there is a lot of care and kindness in the work they do and it really shows. we can't see ourselves bringing our pets anywhere else.

They are all wonderful they made me feel so comfortable very helpful and knowledgeable and most importantly my dog loved them

Extremely friendly staff and very welcoming. Bamm Bamm loved his first 7.5 week check up. Staff answered every question and provided us undivided attention. I’m so happy I chose VCG - Oyster Bay for Bamm Bamm.

This place doesn’t care about animals they just care about money. Go somewhere else. I just spent “most of my appointment time” trying to figure out their location which they couldn’t tell me because i don’t know if it’s too early in the morning their brains don’t work. All they had to do was check my cats teeth, I already had all her records. Even then the people here are brain dead.

We have had such a pleasant experience with everyone at Veterinary Care Group of Oyster Bay. They take such good care of our puppy Jackson. We feel very comfortable bringing him there. So happy we picked this vet!

Dr. Zhen and the entire team at VCG are caring pet lovers. During the ongoing pandemic the team has been extra cautious implementing the CDC guidelines while providing the best medical attention. I had purchased a puppy from a breeder, unaware that he was from an Amish farm. He is a tiny Yorkshire Terrier with heavy fleas and had diarrhea the third morning I had him. I originally had an appointment with VCG Bayside who transferred me to Whitestone because of his fleas and told me the earliest they can see him is Monday afternoon. That's a bit late for a small dog with fleas and I did not want more and more fleas to pop up till then. When he had diarrhea in the morning, I freaked out and called many places and explained the situation and was told they could not take him the same day. Some also very rudely hung up on me after saying no. I waited until a VCG location was open to see if there was anyone that can see him earlier and called Forest Hills who were also nice and told me to call Oyster Bay to see if they could see him the same day. I called and the lady was very nice and helpful and put me at ease and told me she had two spots open to see him today! I wasn't able to accompany my puppy's first vet visit as I had work, but my parents took him and felt very pleased with the way things went and how calm they felt even with no in person visit. They were able to watch the exam from outside and the vets were very helpful, put my dog at ease and even threw in a complimentary nail service because the expanses had already racked up. Although the Oyster Bay location is an hour away from me, I will be using this location as his primary vet due to the way they treated my family. Thank you.

Maybe not their fault but my 4 year old healthy dog died 5 days later. No apparent reason .

Been to many vets over the years, wish I found Dr Zheng and Mitchell sooner. Thorough, responsible and compassionate. They were even willing to come to my home when the time came to say goodbye to our sweet little baby. Great group. You will not be disappointed.

Our first time at VCG Oyster Bay location. My not to cooperative older dog had a ear issue. Due to Covid-19 you can not come into the hospital with your dog. I was able to watch the whole examination through the sidewalk window. The doctor and staff were very caring and put him at ease. They did a very through examination. I was told the prices and options I had in choosing various procedures and their recommendations IE: his nails needed to be clipped, it was time for his blood work. We left with a happier dog: meds in his ears, clipped nails, blood work done and a happy mom.

Dr. Jamie Zhen is the kindest, most caring vet we have ever been to. She provided the most compassionate end-of-life care when we lost our Yorkie rather unexpectedly, and is still providing great care for our Alaskan Klee Kai. Her front desk staff/assistants that we have interacted with (Aamirah, Michelle, Calvin, and Jessica) are all wonderful too, which shows that she creates a great environment for people and animals alike. Would recommend this practice to anyone!

Super friendly and thorough staff members. They had researched all the info we needed beforehand and were very well prepared for our visit. To top it off, all the staff were so nice and friendly to deal with. Tiifu came away one very happy chappy, as did I ! Highly recommend them!!

Dr. Zhen, Michelle and Aamirah at VCG Oyster Bay are super friendly and responsive for all my puppy's needs. They are very thorough and upfront about what is necessary for your dog as well as pricing. I have worked with Dr. Zhen for years at a different location for my 17 year old shih-tzu in the past. I am so glad I was able to find her again to continue working with her and the rest of of the team in Oyster Bay for my new puppy. I really appreciate everything the team has done for Simba. I was able to get emergency arrangements made, they are very accommodating and thorough. Their office is very professional and you can tell everyone is on board with giving exceptional care. A great place for your animal family.

Very nice people and very welcoming.they were very gentle with my pup and caring . I wasn't a client and they still got me in , they were on time and I didn't have to wait that long....they are very careful with the covid19 rules. My pup wasn't too nervous because they have huge windows so you can see your pup and she could see me too. I highly recommend this vet clinic .???? big thank you to Dr. Zhen and Michelle...and the receptionist (sorry I didn't get her name).

I love this place. I had called a months in advance because I needed help with getting certificates for my dog when traveling to the island of st.Maarten. Dr.Zhen was so patient with giving me specific days for the appointment, websites to read that required for me to get a permit for the island, and many other sources. Also helping me understand the process of sending the paperwork to Albany so everything gets certified. Always call ahead in case you have questions, they are very patient, and willing to answer all questions. Trust me!!! I had so many questions!! And now I can leave with my doggie for school.

Dr. Zehn is THE BEST for your cat. Thanks to her my cat was immediately whisked off to life-saving surgery. Everyone at the facility is conscientious and skilled and handles the animals kindly and efficiently. I also appreciated having the financial aspect of the treatment laid out for me ahead of the procedure.

Wonderful place. Dr. Zhen is a great vet. My family likes her so much we followed her from Queens to Oyster Bay.

I don't have a pet, I just go and pretend I do. It's been free so far and they treat me special. They even helped look for my imaginary lemur.

I just recently had to put down my Beagle Charlie. It was the first time I actually was in the room to put down a pet and I was unprepared for how difficult it would be. The Staff & Doctors at Village Vets were awesome, patient & accommodating. Their offices are clean & the environment friendly. I would highly recommend them for Vet services. Thank you for your care on a very hard day.
