Staff was very nice and friendly. Dr Petrillo was very good. Showed lots of interest in pet and client. Took time talk and explain things.

Personally think the hours are harsh, especially for those who work. Could never make it in time if I tried. If you can’t get off work or get out early, this place is not for you.

Not allowed in with your dog, and called my dog crazy and hyper several times. He's a puppy and just has Lovings to give.

Overall great care with the animals, very friendly people. However I did feel my appointment was a bit rushed and I wasn't given enough detail and instructions when being sent home with medication. But I would absolutely recommend them because they were still able to squeeze my cat in when I thought it was an emergency and they definitely answered all my questions!

I cannot say enough nice things about 5 Corners! The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. They have also found errors made when I've had to take my dog to an emergency vet. My dog always felt welcome there, even when he didn't want to be there! Everyone was so compassionate when I had to put my dog down. They're still helping me with my current dog search. I truly love this place.

I have been seeing Dr. Petrillo for several years, she is and always has been the most dedicated veterinarian. I really value her. I have followed her from another clinic. She has always gone above and beyond for my last dog and now my current dog. She always responds to any calls or requests for information and goes the extra mile to research any questions I have. She is an asset to Five Corners Animal Hospital. The other staff at 5 Corners is also always consistently pleasant and professional.

Lolly, my sweet and gentle cat, deserved a far better death than the one given to her by Dr. Suzanne Petrillo. Last week (five months ago, as this post is edited,) after much agonizing, I brought my beloved cat here to be euthanized, which, of course, is one of the saddest things we can do in this life. I requested that she be given a sedative first to avoid the stress and, hopefully, some of the pain of the catheterization. The technician who administered the sedative asked whether I'd want some time with Lolly prior to the euthanizing drug being administered; I replied that I would indeed like some time alone with her. I was relieved that Lolly was so relaxed after receiving the sedative. She was taken away to be catheterized while I waited in a room that is set up to provide a calmer environment for euthanizations, with dimmed lighting, a candle, etc., but I was left there alone for such a long time that I began to wonder what was wrong. I then could hear my cat meowing very loudly and unhappily before she was rushed into the room by Dr. Suzanne Petrillo, who immediately switched on the bright overhead light upon entering. I was surprised that Lolly was so alert and distressed and asked whether the sedative had already worn off, to which Dr. Petrillo replied that the sedative had made finding a vein difficult, so it had to be "reversed." I noted bandages on both of Lolly's front legs as evidence of the failed attempts. Dr. Petrillo then immediately injected my cat directly in the back, causing her death in moments. I was shocked and told Dr. Petrillo that I had wanted a few minutes alone with my cat before her death, even more so after seeing how obviously stressed my cat was when brought back to me. Dr. Petrillo started telling me something irrelevant about a cat in the back who was having an allergic reaction; I got the impression that she was rushed and just wanted to get the job with my cat over with. My cat died stressed and unhappy, as I was not given the chance to comfort her, and as the sedative, for which I had paid extra, had been reversed, so did not relieve my poor cat's anxiety and pain. My beloved Lolly died an unnecessarily harsh death and we were cheated out of our chance to say a final good-bye. Lolly, despite being abused before we adopted her, was the gentlest, sweetest pet I've ever had and deserved better treatment. The technician and the receptionist were very kind and caring, but Dr. Suzanne Petrillo made an extremely sad time so much sadder and I am heartbroken and haunted by it. In fairness to the practice, I must say that Dr. Karen Fischer and the rest of the staff were always very caring and compassionate during my cat's illness, hence the two star rating.

I can't say enough about the wonderful care I have received at this animal hospital. Dr. Fischer and Dr. Petrillo always take the time to listen to my concerns and and have consulted with specialists to make sure my pets receive the most thorough care. They also work with me to make sure I am comfortable with any recommendations and that they are within my budget. The staff truly treat your pets like there own and I always feel safe leaving my pets in their care. Highly recommend.

I was turned away by my Veterinarian office of over 15 years when I tried making an appointment for my sick cat. Receptionist said they were completely booked. That’s when I called 5 Corners. They were completely booked as well, but made time for us. Dr. Fischer and her staff were amazing to work with!

I recently had to say goodbye to my cat, Ethel. She had been a patient at 5 Corners for several years. The process was handled with the utmost respect and dignity. The staff and Dr. Fisher were wonderful. I left there with a real sense of peace after having to make such a difficult decision. I have been a nurse for many years and have seen patients in the hospital pass with much less dignity and respect.

I've been a happy client of Dr. Karen Fischer at 5 Corners Animal Hospital for over ten years. During that time, she has seen to the health and well-being of my cat and dogs. I love how easily accessible she is for questions; the office staff is courteous and professional, and there's no waiting around, whether it be for a phone call back about a sick pet, or in the office when you show up for your scheduled visit. I own a horse farm and have been around vets my whole life. I'm a little too quick to discount them if they have bad people skills or seem less intelligent than I'd hope. Dr. Fischer won my confidence my first visit and has kept it for a decade.

My pets, cats and a dog, have been receiving excellent care at 5 corners for about 10 years. My extended family members have had the same experience of excellent service and high quality care. One example of their great service was the time my dog needed a last minute kennel cough vaccine so we could leave on vacation and they were so accommodating! Also, My dog has had some complex medical issues that Dr. Fischer has helped us work through, and our pup is happy and healthy now! I highly recommend this vet practice.

May 2015 I was new in town and needed to get my 10 yr. old miniature poodle 3 vaccinations and a heartworm test. After waiting for 45 minutes for my (7 day ahead) scheduled appointment when no other people were in the waiting room I was finally able to see Dr. Fischer. I wasn't impressed at all, she walked out in the middle of my time with her keeping me waiting another 15 minutes with no explanation given. I was there a total of 2 hrs and didn't get the impression the staff were very on the ball at all. Front end staff told me THEY would call with the results of the blood work (since I was a new patient, they didn't. When I called to speak with Dr. Fisher on 5/21 to express my dismay I was told she was in surgery and would call me back, she Never did. To top it off I feel I was over charged. $300 + much of which I felt was over the top and not necessary. Needless to say, I'm looking for a more caring and professional vet whose priority isn't money.
