I moved up from Brooklyn to Newburgh during this never ending pandemic! I have three dogs and I'm thrilled to have found Stone Cottage Veterinary Clinic. The vets and staff are so professional, respectful and caring. I highly recommend them!

When I called Stone Cottage Veterinary Hospital I was greeted with upbeat, attentive, and genuine care for my puppy, Winnie. When I walked in for my first appointment the atmosphere there was just as upbeat as they were on the phone and everyone was extremely pleasant. Myself and Winnie were treated with kindness and Winnie got the best care. I highly recommend Stone Cottage!

Thank you SO MUCH for fitting us in, and getting Jasper and Zoe vaccinated so fast and getting their info to the kennel....otherwise they couldn't have been boarded and we wouldn't have been able to leave on our trip!!

Honestly, there’s no way you could have made this visit better! I recognize that you all have a very time and energy consuming job, with so many different species to take care of, and you still took your time providing the best care for Andy and answering all of my questions. I’m happy to have found a doctor (and team!) of individuals who clearly love what they do and can give my little furball the best care. Thank you!

The visit went well and even though Bailey had an allergic reaction to the shot he got, the staff was very accommodating when we called and stressed our concern and they had us bring him right back and treated him right away. Very satisfied.

Danielle and Brianna are very unprofessional ! I waited on hold for 10 minutes and when Brianna picked up, I started to explain what I was having a problem with she rudely announced that she got another call and put me back on hold taking the new call coming in. After waiting on hold again, Danielle picked up my call and I had to explain everything all over again. When I expressed my frustration, Danielle RUDELY hung up on me !! I ordered medicine for my sick dog through the website on 12/6/21 and when I called the on line store to track my order on 12/14/21 they told me that the medicine was STILL not approved by this Vet's office !! NINE DAYS LATER !!! Terrible patient service

They deleted my last review somehow. I brought two kittens in with clear problems and they were both misdiagnosed, or just not really diagnosed in general. I was told they were healthy. Before I could make it to my normal vet, one of the kittens passed. Goosepond animal hospital diagnosed the surviving kitten with two different things, prescribed the proper meds and is now doing very well. Had I continued using stone cottage, this cat likely would have passed by now as well.

They really do a great job and go out of their way to give a personal feel to pet care

I have only used this Vet once but the experience we had made us switch our vets office to them. They are the nicest people ever. Their prices are so reasonable too.

Today was my first time at Stone Cottage and I'm so happy that my cat has a new vet. I brought my 2 year old cat in for a wellness check. They talked me into getting the 3 year rabies booster shot (mandated by law in NY) this way my cat doesn't have to get it every year; he hates car rides. They did the usual: eyes, ears, nose, mouth, teeth, checked his heart and lungs, weighed him. They were so nice and so gentle; my cat isn't a fan of the vets office (he's shy not mean) and by the end of his visit, he wouldn't go back in his carrier (when we got there he wouldn't come out). He's in great health and I couldn't be happier. I really really liked this place. First of all, they let you go in with your pet; that's so important to me and since COVID, well, a lot of places don't let you in... (Cough)... Flannery... (cough). The building was warm and welcoming. It was quiet and for a vets office you couldn't smell animals/animal waste which in almost EVERY office, it smells. Not Stone Cottage. They have an area where a candle sits and if someone lost their pet or was in the process of losing their pet, they light the candle so people know to be respectful (it's on a round glass table--you can't miss it). I thought that was incredibly sweet and considerate. The exam rooms are large and immaculate. It doesn't feel like a vets office. It doesn't have the gross tile or linoleum floors that are stained and filthy but hard wood floors which makes the rooms warmer and inviting. The overall ambience of this office is so tranquil and lovely; the employees must love it there. So yeah, great place, great doctor's, really really pleasant atmosphere which is so important at a vets office. This is definitely our vets office from now on. I'm so glad I was given a recommendation to Stone Cottage.

Took my dog there for the first time for her annual checkup. Staff is friendly and attentive. Check in was easy and you do have the option of going in with your pet. I felt the checkup was very thorough and the vet was easy to talk to and answered all my questions. Hours of the office are convenient for people who work.

Best veterinary services I've ever used. Their genuine love for pets is unmatched. Prices are reasonable. The doctor and staff are extraordinary.

I was new to the area. Not sure were to go when my cat became ill. I reviewed a few places and decided on Stone Cottage. The doc and staff are exceptionally kind caring curtious and compassionate tward my sick cat and me.The honesty was refreshing, my cat was not to survive.Dr. Nick Scapparelli is a jewel of a human being. He made no effort to pretend she would survive if I agreed to surg. and chemo. He was honest and supportive. When Baby past the staff was so kind supportive. I could not ask for more.So glad to have found a great doc and staff. Also brought Red my now Senior cat, care was rendered with total concern for his age,with recommendations in diet and dental care care. I highly recommend Dr Nick and staff.

We love Stone Cottage and have recommended them to several pet owners we know. They take excellent care of our dog. The doctors and technicians take the time to listen to our concerns and never minimize them as trivial (even if they may be). They do their best to make our dog (who is a difficult patient on her best days) as comfortable as possible.

So far I have been pleased with the care my cat has been given by Dr. Martens. I couldn't go inside with her for the exam, but the Dr. And staff have been very nice and attentive. I picked up some meds yesterday and I'm hoping this does the trick.

It's a bit out of way from my residence, but I would go long distance in bringing my dog to veterinarians that are really good. I have been to enough vets to know if they are in it for the business or genuinely love animals.

Great service. Only issue, higher prices than other vets. Could be you get what you pay for. Would probably use them again, despite prices. Except maybe getting our cat spayed. Much cheaper options available elsewhere.

Everyone is pleasant, nice, and friendly. They make sure you understand instructions and any issues concerning your pet.

Each time I have made an appointment at Stone Cottage I’ve had to wait at least an hour past the scheduled appointment time to have my dog seen. I was very understanding, because I was told that an emergency had come in each time. Today, I called with an emergency and was told that they would not be able to see my dog until over a week from now, and that I should call Flannery Animal hospital to have my dog looked at. I am beyond upset, because my dog just had a surgery there and I would have felt more comfortable having her looked at by the hospital that performed the surgery rather than having to take her to a new vet.

Dr Marten is the best vet I have been to. In my 70 years of life I have had many many pets and vets, SHE is the best, thorough and explains everything clearly and understandably. Takes the extra time to talk to you and answer all of your questions.
