Hands down, the best vet in the city! Dr. Moscovich and the rest of the team give such amazing care and attention to their furry patients! And his expertise and easygoing bedside manner with the animals are second to none! Everyone there is so friendly and attentive to your animals. A+++++++++++++++

Dr Moscovich said he would put my rescue dog (abused cocker spaniel) down just for growling at him out of fear. Run, don’t walk out of there!

Such compassionate care I have rarely experienced in a veterinary clinic. From the front desk, the technicians, and the doctors, I have felt very much in safe hands and very comfortable placing my cats in their care. I highly recommend the Village Veterinarian and Drs. Moscovich and Murphy in particular.

This is the most wonderful vet practice we’ve been to and the only place I want to take my beloved dog. Dr. Murphy is incredible. Kind, so knowledgeable and the most unbelievable bedside manner.

Dr. Katie Gerber was incredible with our two pups! She is so knowledgeable, patient, and kind. We instantly felt comfortable with her and her vet in training. Our annual visit was very thorough. Our pups got all their annual medications and she refilled our prescriptions. The dogs didn’t peep!

The drs and techs are very nice and knowledgeable, however communication is often an issue. I called yesterday morning because my 5 month old puppy was pretty sick, they wouldn't give me an appt until the next day and even though I asked for the dr to at least call me back, no one ever did. When I called again in the late afternoon the person that picked up told me to go to the hospital. No good reason to have paid double the amount when we actually have a vet that could have seen my pup. I even called back today and left a message and still no call. I'm going to go ahead and guess that either drs aren't getting the messages or they just are too busy to be concerned. I will be finding a new vet.

I’ve been going to the Village Veterinarian for many years and I absolutely love them. They’re the best vet I’ve ever gone to.

Our pets receive extremely good care by Dr. Moscovich and the staff here. They are very responsive to our questions and concerns and we trust their advice. We especially appreciate that they don’t jump to medication right away when it might not be necessary.

When I was living in the East Village I took my two dogs to the Village Veterinarian on the recommendation of a neighbour. I have nothing but good things to say about the hard working, welcoming and professional members of staff there, especially when the pandemic hit and special measures had to be put in place. The only reason I no longer frequent VV is because I moved to Boston! Best wishes to you all

I had a great experience with The Village Vet! They were able to see my pup on a very timely basis and provided excellent care for a skin infection that he had. Everyone with whom I interacted was friendly and professional. I accidentally left my umbrella at the office and they kept it there for me for a few days so that I could come back and pick it up! Will definitely be going back!

For almost 10 years, everyone at the Village Veterinarian has been like a family to us and our dogs and cats. From the receptionists and the technicians, to Dr. Moscovich and his team of veterinarians, everyone is knowledgeable, responsive, proactive, and caring.

We've have been seeing Dr. Moscovich for almost 20 years! I first started seeing him with my cat Banyan because my primary vet happened to be closed and Dr. Moscovich's office was the referring emergency vet in the area. I appreciated the care and manner in which he treated Banyan and soon after switched to Village Vet. They have treated and cared for my cats Banyan, Margaret K and my dogs Hanzo, Kiddo and Chinta ever since. The staff Nina, Cisco, Vanessa, Eddie, Kristina, Anne, Marcia and Carrie (sorry if I've forgotten to list someone) have always treated us as family. We've all shared laughs and shed some tears over the years. Currently Dr. Murphy has been seeing Hanzo, Kiddo and Chinta and we couldn't ask for kinder vet who's been generous with her knowledge, time and care.

I’ve been entrusting my pets care to Village Vet for quiet some time now. The kind of attention & quality care is exceptional & I trust that our pet who is also a cherished family member is getting the kind of care she needs for a long healthy life. We are so lucky to have such wonderful care by not only the doctors that work there but also by the staff who runs a nurturing environment for owners & pets to feel comfortable.

All the doctors and other staff members are caring and helpful. When I call with a question, I always get the support I need and they have appointments available when I need- even on Saturdays.

Our dog had many health concerns. I had him all over Nyc in a panic and couldn't afford many vets. My neighbor suggested village vet. N they were a life saver. They did surgery for mast cell tumor and got everything out. They were very professional, explaining everything that my dog needed. They also helped his allergies he had for a long time. He's a healthier and happier dog now thx to Village ????????

I was 100% satisfied with Milo's care and the professionalism and friendliness of the entire team. I should also mention the affordability and seamless coordination with my insurance provider. The Village Vet is the 'sister' clinic of my primary vet, but I have now switched over entirely. It is 50 blocks further away from my home, but it is undoubtedly worth the longer trip.

Unprofessional and no regard for pet health and safety! My dog has been suffering for months because of their lazy misdiagnosis. I brought my dog in with a rash on her stomach and the vet prescribed a steroid cream. We applied it as instructed and emailed the office when the rash got worse and with photos of the spread. The vet again instructed us to continue using the steroid cream for a period of time. We did what we were told to do by the vet and emailed again with photos of the rash which had become even worse and spread beyond the area. The vet then instructed us to come in to check on the exact same issue. We again did as instructed and another vet in the same office told us it was a completely different issue. So for months, my dog suffered because a misdiagnosis by the village veterinarian. The receptionist then informed us the charge would be for the full amount of an annual visit even though she has visited three times in the last year and we were only there for the EXACT SAME ISSUE THAT WAS WORSENED BY THIS VET OFFICE'S MISDIAGNOSIS. At first she denied that it was the same issue, completely ignoring what I told her. When I showed documentation of the original visit and several emails desperately asking for help for my suffering dog (with images), it was indisputable. But every individual I spoke with was not surprised and still refused to accommodate us - I wouldn't be surprised if Dr. Moscovich purposefully misdiagnosed my pet so she would have recurring issues and require follow ups at a full charge. The receptionist refused to acknowledge any wrongdoing or attempt to rectify the situation. Instead, several receptionists rudely screamed at me on the sidewalk. I politely asked to speak with the vet and the vet REFUSED TO COME OUTSIDE OR CALL ME. I then asked a male receptionist to send someone out to speak with me because I had already been sitting outside in 100 degree summer heat for an hour and I had to return to work. That receptionist said, "no problem, we'll just send you to collections." I am appalled at the disrespect and unprofessionalism of this office. Two female receptionists came outside, accosted me in front of other patients, and then spoke with my partner on the phone to blame me for "causing a scene." The other guests were shocked to witness such behavior from several people working for the office and expressed that to me personally. The vet finally refused to give me a prescription for my dogs rash. They sent us away after an hour in the heat with NO REGARD FOR MY DOG'S HEALTH. STAY AWAY.

We feel grateful to have found you when we first got Toro. She is treated like family and so she always feels safe with you. Edit: I just want to double down on what I wrote above. Our Frenchie girl just gets the BEST care from all of you there. And only what is absolutely necessary. Being first time dog owners, we sometimes get worked up over things that are absolutely nothing. And you all are the calm voice of reason. Thank you!

A year ago these guys found a way to charge us $1000 to fill a prescription for apoquel, the dog version of claritin. We tried to refill the prescription today and they won't fill without us seeing the veterinarian-- in other words charge us $300 for an unneeded visit. Be aware they will try to find a way to overcharge for test that are not needed and charge 3x the retail cost for prescriptions. It's a business-- that's why they employ so many assistants -- to milk customers for as much money as possible.

Hands down the best place to take your animal companion. The doctors and staff care deeply for your pet and have always been fair and honest in their business dealings and pricing. I won't take my dog anywhere else and have been a patron for over 10 years. I highly recommend them.

Dr. Moscovich and his expert team took care of my Yankee from the day I adopted him until the end. I love this practice and cannot say enough wonderful things about them! Last year, I had to put my beloved dog to sleep. Doc made sure to schedule this for the end of the day when his other patients had left giving us much needed privacy and space to grieve. Doc, Nina, me, my daughters - we were all there and embracing my guy. A very sad day is also one that I will remember for how beautiful the goodbye was. This is just one example of the level of care and compassion we received over the course of Yankee's 10 years with the practice. Thank you, thank you!
