The best vet. My dog Ollie recently became a member after trying several different vet offices, and after Small Door we will never go to another vet again. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, they are fast at responding and very communicative, you never feel rushed or wait too long. My dog had a surgery done and the team was very professional, reliable, and did a great job. They sent multiple photos of my dog as he recovered and I couldn’t have asked for better customer service. Highly recommend!

Just had our first puppy visit here and we couldn’t be happier! The dr and nurse spent a good deal of time with us just talking and experiencing our pup. Pricing was as expected and included everything we needed. So glad we found this place and highly recommend it!

I couldn’t be happier that Small Door opened on the UES. As the parent of an extremely anxious and rather large dog, it was important to me to find the right vet practice. They’re always able to squeeze me in for an appointment (even if I book on the wrong day- thanks!), and my dog is genuinely thrilled to see the staff at the practice. Highly recommend a Small Door membership!

The premium plus plan has been great for making sure I can give a comprehensive annual test for my dog without worrying about any extra fees or cost. I have gone in three times to both the West Village and Upper East Side locations. The brightly lit space and super clean facilities is also great. The nurse and vet are very transparent about costs and very open and patient to all sorts of questions!

When I got my puppy, Ivy, the thought of finding her the perfect vet stressed me out, no matter where I looked, no place seemed like the right fit— that is until I discovered small door. Small Door is 100% worth every cent. From the espresso they offer me when I walk in, to the puppy play groups and outstanding care they show my pup, there is no where, where Small Door misses the mark. They pay attention to every detail and put you at the center of everything they do and their care shows. I never write reviews but could not miss the opportunity to recognize the amazing facilities and teams that make small door the beauty it is.

Both of my recently adopted kittens LOVE Small Door Vet ???? We have been very well accommodated every time we go. Their space is sooo clean and beautiful, and they always offer me a beverage when I arrive. During my first appointment with Small Door, they gave my kittens a wonderful tote of toys to bring home! The staff is so knowledgeable, professional, and fun to chat with. I love that they are so responsive when I ask them questions through their app. I highly recommend Small Door to those who have pets at home ✨

This is the best vet ever. Not only is their membership the best bang for your buck, but the vets will even sit on the ground with your dog to make them feel safe. The cleanest space and the nicest staff - they’ve thought through every detail. I trust them with my dog as they do not rush or pressure you into anything and take their time to talk to you. I was able to sit down with a vet and technician and plan on how to prevent future illness for my pup, which I feel like isn’t something that other offices even think about because they usually just address the issue when it arises. I will be a loyal fan forever - they are the best of the best.

I am completely obsessed with Small Door Vet and so so happy to have them in the neighborhood! As a recent transplant from Chicago, I’ve quickly realized that vet care in NYC is just different. And with any new city, it can be hard to find your new go to places. But my dog is my family, and after a couple misses, I am so glad to have found a place that will treat her like family too. Small Door is membership based; it’s under $100/year to join and it’s honestly been some of the best money spent since moving here! At no extra charge, you get 24/7 messaging with the team, and I’ve already tapped into that feature once with a late-night medicine scare. They were so quick to respond and guide and support me in seeking emergency care. And at each visit in person, they’ve been just as attentive and caring whether for a full-on vet visit (the most thorough I’ve ever seen in my dog’s six years with me) or our monthly technician appointments. It’s just icing on the cake that their offices are impeccably decorated, with free treats/drinks for humans and dogs alike. I feel so lucky to call Small Door our primary vet and have already recommended them to all of my friends! Bonus: they’re opening up several new locations in Manhattan and Brooklyn very soon!

Took my pup for a checkup last weekend; the front desk as the Doctor were so patience with Ocean and made the whole process stress free for him and us; as he is anxious it was a great experience. I'm very thankful for this vet.

My puppy Benny and I both LOVE Small Door Vet! Benny loves all of the staff and especially loves going to playgroup on Mondays, which is such an amazing membership perk. I love that no matter what questions I have I know I will get a helpful, prompt response and everyone makes Benny and I feel like family. I cannot imagine raising a new puppy in NYC without Small Door Vet and am immensely grateful for everyone there. I can't recommend them enough!

Our dog Gus loves Small Door Vet, and we do too! Everything about the experience was enjoyable and we left there knowing that Gus’s health is in good hands! Starting from the very modern feel of their lobby and exam rooms, to the friendliness and care that Dr. Simonin shared with us and Gus as she examined him, walking us through Small Door’s wellness ethos. Gus was actually sad to leave Small Door after the exam. Though fortunately for him, we pass Small Door during our walks, and stop in for a treat now and again (because he’s a good boy!).

WOW beyond impressed with Small Door Vet they greeted me with a spindrift and toys for my puppy in the exam room!! The building was gorgeous, an app for records and appointments, and everyone went above and beyond to be friendly and welcoming. The vet we saw was literally sitting on the floor ready to play when we walked in the room. Small details like this are sooo important to a puppy’s first vet experience. Personally I have hated my prior vet experiences in the past but I’m so happy I found Small Door here in NYC!!

Small Door is the best! We live in Midtown East and used to travel down to the West Village just because we wanted the best care for our puppy Truffle. We are thankful that they have opened up on the Upper East Side! Small Door has exceeded my expectations consistently. Dr Jaime is the best. They are always there when you have an emergency - and we have had our fair share!!! Always kind and caring and treat your pet with so much love! No place better. Worth every dollar of that membership fee!!

I feel very secure knowing my dog is in the best hands when we come to Small Door. They are reliable, professional, and attentive. The office is truly state-of-the-art and welcoming. The team treats their members like family, and my dog never feared her visit for a moment. We love our membership, and the convenience of being able to contact Small Door through the app anytime.

I dropped by with my two dogs last minute because one of my dogs had a small cyst problem and it had popped in the morning. I decided to give this vet clinic a try because they just opened up in my neighborhood. Going in, i was ready for a war because My dogs have always freaked out and hid and cried and ran away at every single vet appointments and sometimes they required two people holding them down but at the small door, the vet and nurses and receptionists were so kind and friendly it really helped calm my dogs. I’ve never seen my dogs this calm at the vet! My dog didn’t mind the needles at all! Which is a miracle I’ve never seen her just chilling while needle was going up in her leg. Thanks for making it so easy and stress free for my dogs and I.

Small Door is clean. The workers are polite and responsive and accommodating. The doctor took the time to listen to my experience with my pet, think about what i said, ask and answered questions. I was immediately responded to even after i left and emailed subsequent questions. I highly recommend this veterinarian service.

I have never been so thankful for a group of veterinarians, nurses or coordinating staff! My poor dog became ill overnight and thankfully SmallDoor staff answered promptly and were able to take care of Poppy quickly. I had not found a UES vet that I felt fully comfortable with and thankfully this has changed! Not only did they provide excellent medical service, they went the extra mile and sent pictures (as shown above) gave her toys to cuddle and sent messages about her progress during the day. This put my mind at ease as any pet parent would feel helpless! Thank you to everyone at SmallDoor UES for not only saving my best friends life, but for being the first office that she doesn’t want to leave. What a welcome addition to the Upper East Side.
