Pawp helped me every step of the way when my cat had an emergency. Qi was an incredible support and my final bill of $1000 was paid. I can't tell you how happy I am with Pawp. My cat survived his emergency and I am so grateful.

My cat had a urinary blockage and had to spend 4 days at the emergency vet. This was a very scary and stressful situation and the girl I chatted with from PAWP was so caring and helpful. My cat is home and doing well and PAWP covered the entire bill! The vet called PAWP and next thing I know I'm being told I'm good and can go. The one girl that worked there was even like wow I need to get that insurance!

They came through for me when I was being told I had no options from not having cash to put down a deposit they got on the phone with the vet and did whatever it took to get my kitty care down to the last moment didn't matter what he needed it was covered because of that my kitty got a fighting chance down to the very end and we got one more day with him before he had to go that we would have never gotten without pawp I'll recommend them till im blue in the face and I spoke with a representative who told me you are allowed to have more than 1 account under different emails to ensure your pets are always covered and I think thats truly amazing

I had no idea what to do the other night my anemic cat was breathing rapidly. I called pawp and they said to take him to emergency vet.. without pawp I wouldn't have known what to do.. not only that but my bill came to 3095 and they covered the 3000 I only had to pay 95. Best insurance company for pets hands down.

2PM on Saturday my veterinarian closes and is covered by an emergency clinic. Have you ever used one of those. They want to know up front that you have a credit card that will cover $750-$1000 minimum. Since I register my little girl (a 3yr old Shi-Po) anytime I've looked at the Pawp site they have asked if I need to talk to their vet. Around 4-4:30 PM out in the backyard , Blossom has a BM. As I'm dumping the scoop I notice like streaks of bright red on the bag. What should I do? Maybe I should talk to the vet at the Pawp site. I was given the option of a video chat or an instant message type where we would text, which is what I chose. The Dr asked concise questions after I had given the best history I could. I was asked to send a video if I could so Blossom motor functions could be observed. Given all the information available, without an actual hands on examination the Dr concluded that I had probably shared a rather fatty somewhat spicy food that probably just irritated her bowel and since she's a small dog had even caused a bit of bleeding if the bowel was easily irritated, so probably just observation and a soft diet of chicken breast, rice and a little canned pumpkin for fiber. Also possibly some alternative means of giving Blossom her meds than my fatty , spicy choice, my words not theirs. However, since irritating the pancreas couldn't be ruled out by the over the e-mails I should see my regular veterinarian at the earliest opportunity. So the did their best to allay my fears, but at the same time let me know it was something to really follow-up on and give some ways to care for my furbaby in the meantime. How could I ask for more? Thanks again to Pawp and Dr. Christy

My cat would have died a day ago if not for these people. I was holding a seizing diabetic cat. My vet receptionist, when I called before her seizure, said they were no longer in office and to call the emergency place. Already did that 5 hr wait. They did NOT tell me it was lunch hour. Did not tell me the vet would be back. Left me holding a dying animal. Bet called back as he got informed Chloe bottomed out and said HE was told “you didn’t want to wait for a call back” And that seemed weird so he called. By then i had used this service and was reaffirmed what to do, and that even if it went south more I knew someone was there with eyes on who knew more than me. I don’t know what would have happened if i didn’t have this service. We got her back steady at home - then the not-there vets got the money for the check up after. Time for a new vet - *I wish with my ALL these vets could be my for good doc.

Glad i picked up PAWP before we went away on vacation with our little 4 legged buddy. They were quick and knowledgeable. Wouldn’t have found my own vet on-line for a 5 minutes question after 6pm

I love being able to talk with a vet, even if it's just silly questions they always give the best answer.

I called about an issue with our newly added dog. It was not an emergency and I said so before we texted- I was responded to by Dr P. Immediately. She asked for photos, and then said she would get right back to me as she had an emergency to deal with. I very much appreciated that she let me know she was handling an emergency situation before my question. She came back to the text with suggestions and let me know his surgical site didn’t look right to her and to see a dermatologist. She sent some copies of things for me to read and as I opened the first one my dog jumped up and ended the text! Sadly my screen went white and I wasn’t able to see the second one. I was very impressed with the quality of care provided, felt terrible I wasn’t able to thank her before the conversation ended. I can’t believe we are getting this service alone for 6 animals for such a low price- not to mention the emergency funding of ever needed. Skipping a few coffees away from home pays for this, it’s unbelievable. Im not a rush to call the vet type person, but knowing I can contact a vet on the rare occasions I’m in over my head is really nice to have. Very thankful for this service at such affordable pricing.

I signed on with Pawp's life threatening emergency fund several months ago hoping to never have to use it. Thursday one of my Saint Bernards was wrenching, panting heavily and was in obvious discomfort. While I messaged a Pawp vet I called my ER Clinic. After a brief conversation and video the Pawp vet opened the emergency fund, we were already on our way to the clinic. Polar was suffering with bloat which can be life threatening. He is recovering on a bland diet and rest. Unfortunately my vet would not call Pawp at 12:30am for payment. I paid in full and reached out to Pawp in the morning. They were very compassionate and took it upon themself to contact the ER Clinic we went to, Pay the invoice and I was reimbursed by my vet. Pawp doesn't pay the clients, only the clinic. Now my ER Clinic has them on file and is willing to utilize them if I ever need to again. I will continue using Pawp and highly recommend them as a safety reassurance for my furbies.. Thank You Pawp!!

My puppy is recently out of urethral prolapse surgery and the recovery ❤️‍???? is a bit scary. Me and my fiancé are sometimes unsure about his side effects. He was having a hard time and just having a vet on call 24/7 was such an amazing help. The video chat was extremely helpful, just knowing you’re speaking to a real person gives you a peace of mind. The doctors were knowledgeable, kind, patient with bad signal, and very quick to respond. This is totally worth the money.

The vet was fine and it’s really my fault for not reading your terms for an emergency. That being said, you are offering a service with less than clear outline of when you can actually use emergency funds which is nearly never. My dog was suffering from an emergency but want like to die in 4 hours therefore I was unable to utilize my emergency benefit. I has recommended your product to several people, however, after this experience I will be keeping them know that it is not worth their time or pets health if they are suffering from an emergency and have to wait until they are close to death before the benefit is able to be activated. I will also share this on my business FB page as I feel you are advertising a device that is basically unusable. Again, my fault, but your service awful.

SCAM ALERT I have Insurance With Pawp, and i actually had a pawp vet approve us for the $3000 Emergency Fund. So we took our dog To the ER, and after 2 nights she recovered. So when it was time to pay the $2700 Bill for my dogs severe pancreatitis, Pawp Declined. (Shocker Right) Gave Us Some BS line that we didnt follow protocol. AND TRUST ME, WE FOLLOWED PROTOCOL. WE READ EVER NOOK AND CRANNY. So Again, We were approved. We Followed Guidelines, and Pawp Gave Us The Middle Finger Pawp we probably comment on this post by saying some BS line, that we didnt follow procedure, and to call there phone # or email them. DONT BELIEVE IN PAWP, "IF IT SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, IT PROABLY IS..." "Do You Really Wanna Put Your Animals Life On the Line For $19.00?"

My small Yorkie mix was vomiting bloody mucous after throwing up her supper so I did a chat with the Pawp vet. Was connected almost instantly, which was good, but didn't agree with the advice, which was to offer her food. Vets have always said not to give a dog with an upset stomach food for at least 12 hours. But I did appreciate being in touch right away.

Let me just share my little story here about my experience with PAWP. I saw it advertised on facebook I believe, and I clicked and read the gist. 24/7 access to talk to a Vet, text or video. If there was ever an emergency, up to $3000 in funds available. SOUNDS FANTASTIC RIGHT? So I signed up. There is of course a 14 day wait period which is totally understandable. My 9lb dog, Lucy, who is only 4-5 years, suddenly spiked a fever. I finally had to check her temp rectally which I only have experience doing with a baby, but mamas instinct was right. She had a fever of 104.8!!! I rushed her to the ER and they confirmed her temperature. Spent $695 and this was two days before the 14 day wait period was over. I sent them the info and invoice, and they could not approve funds and reimburse, or make exceptions which again I understand completely. Didn't hurt to ask. Two days later I'm taking her into her regular vet after a video I've sent explaining my dogs condition and observations. She had spiked a fever again, and was barely moving, couldn't keep her eyes open, labored breathing, shivering. That point i was at 16 days, so I was eligible for the emergency fund. I thought to myself, well hey, even just a little bit of help with these bills would be SO helpful. They literally had a scale of how serious it was.. the highest two levels as CRITICAL and EMERGENCY. Critical was just below emergency, and descriptions of each category were pretty much the same, just reworded. This vet deemed lucy as critical (non-emergency) and said to get her somewhere in the next 12 hours. So I did. Lucy's real live in person veterinarian did all kinds of testing and Saw that her WBC count was next to nothing, and that she lost over a pound which is bad for a small dog like her, so they recommended she be hospitalized if she didn't get better by the evening. They told me she could be septic, which we all know is an URGENT EMERGENCY. I video chatted that evening, Same vet. She just kept saying it wasn't an emergency because it didn't fall into their 4 hour rule of "if your dog is at risk of dying in 4 or less hours" that is what an emergency is to these people. So I guess 4.5 - 24 hours didn't matter even if their condition was going to kill them. Finally she just didn't want to talk to me anymore. I explained that her regular vet suggested she was septic. The PAWP vet didn't care and didn't want to hear it. I begged and pleaded because I have drained my bank acct already trying to help her, and she still had this crazy high fever. I said to her "I think she's septic and that Is an emergency! I don't want my dog to die!!" and she just interrupts me and says "yeah well no one wants that" sarcastically and said to take her to he regular vet the next day. I did and her vets office actually did me a favor and hospitalized her in their clinic for the day, put her on prednisone and two different antibiotics. She seems to finally be getting better. But IDK what I'd do without Dr. Barnes and Dr. Anderson at AMC of Garner, NC. They are the real professionals here. They did me a huge favor because they knew how critical she was, and they knew my story with PAWP. I relayed all information from those doctors, invoices, and their recommendations back to the PAWP support center. They in the end said it would not be considered for reimbursement because her first fever was before the 14 day period was over, but they did realize it was in fact an emergent situation. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. The $19 I don't care about. But it's the time I spent on there trying to get these funds when I could just go get real pet insurance that has the funds to back up their policies, so you don't have to waste 30 minutes trying to get approval from their mediocre veterinarians. I would give zero stars if I could. Worst experience EVER.

I cannot say enough good things about Pawp! I have had other Pet insurance before but it was never worth it. Pawp is perfect if you don't want to pay a hefty monthly bill, but want to make sure your pet is covered during emergencies. Last week, my dog was retching over and over again, multiple times throughout the day. I was able to get into contact with one of their vets (provided 24/7). I love that because they can either ease your mind that something is not an emergency (so you don't spend all night worrying) or if it is and that you should take your dog in right away. Once your vet approves, your emergency fund is activated. I was able to take my dog to the nearest emergency vet and left with paying nothing else paid out of pocket. Pawp is truly a life-saver and saved me from an unexpected but necessary expense. I highly recommend Pawp for anyone who wants a low monthly cost but peace of mind that their pets would be taken care of in the event of an emergency!
