Clinton Vet is great for your routine animal care. I was stunned by how knowledgeable Dr Fisch is, even of my dogs very rare disease. Hes also great at turning around test results and getting prescriptions.

They’re not my regular vet but I needed USDA approved paperwork for a trip to Europe and they were incredibly helpful, professional and fast. Millie was on top of everything and so sweet, best customer service.

I can get the same care or better elsewhere without being disrespected.

The doctor really cared about my dog. He carefully looked at his current and past blood work and ordered further tests to ensure his health.

Dr. Fisch and his staff are the best! They have provided the best care for my doggy and we’re so grateful to have him as our doctor for 8 years. Highly recommend the facility, doctor, and staff. A++

Dr. Fish is kind and very knowledgeable. I brought my 2 kittens for their first check up and I was nervous about this visit but he made the visit easy. I am so glad this vet office is in my neighborhood.

I waited in a hot waiting room for 20 minutes before meeting the very condescending vet. He was rude and uninterested with any of my concerns but made sure to charge $95 for a simple introduction for my dog. I value care and concern in my vets and I received the opposite here.

I have been bringing my dogs and a relatives dog to this Vet, Dr.Fisch and his wonderful Staff..for 25+ yrs...I wouldn't trust anyone else with the LIVES of my dogs!

Dr. Fish was amazing, called worried my my baby having a possible bladder infection. He let us come in the same day, never rushed us and very attentive to all our concerns. would highly recommend this hospital!

Took my dog to Clinton Vet since it had good reviews and was convienant due to its location. However, once I got there, it was Dr. Fisch behind the desk (who didn't introduce himself until I asked for his name after the visit) and a tech. I waited for about 10 minutes while he attended a call and then took my dog. Originally my dog was there for a Bordatella vaccine and an annual check-up. But, he recommended the Lepto vaccine too. He warned us about the side effects, but she developed a reaction worse than expected (welts around the eyes and swelling on her right side of the nose). We ended up paying $176 for a visit and 2 vaccines which she was seen for about 5 minutes and all he said was "she was healthy"... again after I asked how is she. The communitication was poor and I agree... he's very sarcastic.

Our family loves this guy for our little guy Alfie (the dog). He is very direct and helpful whenever we have needed anything. Highly recommend going here. We love his staff too.

I love Dr. Fisch, Millie and all the vet techs here. They are very attentive and deeply care about animals. They take the best care of my 3 dogs, Leon, Lili and London. I feel very lucky to have found Dr. Fisch and his team!

Dr. Fisch and his staff are wonderful. I’ve lived in the area for a little over a year and have brought my 15 y/o beagle jack-Russell mix (Lucky) to the vet 3 times, once for a routine visit and twice because she wasn’t well. The staff and doctor are always thorough when I bring her and carefully consider treatment options. They are affordable and caring. Will definitely continue to come here for future vet needs!

Good staff and nice place. They give accurate reports of weight and suggest medications for pet needs. I have two dogs that frequent here.

I have a bad review about this clinic. Especially about the veterinarian doctor. After visiting the clinic, my blood pressure was higher.I have poor English, but that does not stop me from going to other doctors and agreeing and understanding each other. Usually people are open to the fact that you are a foreigner. I saw a lot of neglect from the vet. He did not want to talk to me, he did not even want to understand what was easy to say. He all the while wanted to talk with my relatives who speak better English. For any attempt I made to explain the situation with the dog, he did not want to listen to me. My dog ​​was examined, they gave the dog medicine. I paid $ 130 and got a lot of negativity and disrespect from the doctor. The woman who works at the reception was more kind to me.

He is so damn rude, impatient and lacks interpersonal communication skills. Someone on this review thread mentioned something strange about how so many people here are giving positive reviews. It's a big contrast to the huge amount of negative reviews and complains on Yelp and other places.

Went to check it out as I just moved to the city and it had a high rating. Nice folks, seemed caring and available even for emergencies.

The prices here are outrageous. The reviews are good because they are nice people.. but I really question how nice they truly are when they charge so much for simple procedures. My cat had an issue that was recurring. When we took her to the vet in brooklyn we paid $200 to get her help. This place wanted to charge me --$500--. They charged me $90 just to look at her. I was shocked at how much they were willing to price gouge me. I ended up getting antibiotics for her and leaving without getting the procedure done. I was unemployed when this happened so I couldnt afford to take her anywhere else because I spent $120 on this visit and antibiotics/pain meds.. I had to just take her home in pain. I have to find a new vet to take her to as she still has the issue.. this time I will ask for prices BEFORE taking her in somewhere. Even of you're super rich it's pretty messed up to pay 2 1/2 times the normal price for the same procedure you could get elsewhere.

Great care. Always available at the last minute it seems. Very personable, reminds me of the small town doctors office back when I was a kid. They know your name and your pets name.

Dr. Fisch is a wonderful vet. My dog just had her teeth cleaned and he did an excellent job. He was very kind and communicative throughout. I could tell that he genuinely cared about my pet and knowing that she was in good hands was very comforting. Highly recommend.

I have been bringing my pets here for over 15 years Doctor Fisch is amazing his staff is also amazing very accommodating and genuinely do care about the animals. With all the choices in New York City I would definitely give Clinton vetenary the 1st shot at helping your animal and servicing whatever needs you have for your pets.

I've been taking my dog Curtis to Dr. Fisch for 11 years now and have had good visits each time (this includes the time he had to perform a gastronomy on Curtis after he swallowed a toy). He's thorough, attentive and experienced. Dr. Fisch and his staff have always been courteous and treated us with respect and concern. That being said, if you're looking for someone to gush over your pet and coddle them as much as you do, you might find Dr. Fisch does not fit that bill. He's matter-of-fact and does not sugar-coat anything. Personally, I prefer this approach. It's like going to a fancy spa to get a 60 minute massage vs. going to a certified, but less frills type place to get the exact same thing. Some people prefer the spa-like atmosphere and Enya on in the background. I prefer being easily accommodated and paying a bit less to get the same treatment.

When my husband and I got our first dog, we were very excited to take her to Dr. Fischer for a checkup. However, his bedside manner was brusque and he spoke condescendingly to us, often ignoring our questions and snapping when our paperwork wasn't in order (after re-naming our dog, there was some miscommunication on the forms over names. Nonetheless, his attitude was completely unnecessary). Since then, we have returned to Dr. Fischer twice more. Each and every time, he has been remarkably rude, failed to keep appointment times and then rushed us when we finally saw him. Overall, my husband and I got the strong impression he simply didn't care about our dog or keeping our business. I am leaving two stars because the front desk staff was well-organized and his assistant was very kind. However, I cannot recommend the vet himself.

I love Dr. Fisch and his staff. Literally love them. He has been our vet since the early 90s. No nonsense, honest, compassionate and fair. He has been with me through three cats and a dog. I don't even live close and every visit involves cab rides, but he is my guy.

Dr. F is an amazing person and vet who genuinely cares about animals. Everyone in the office is kind, knowledgeable and trustworthy. I highly recommend this place and prices are very reasonable for Manhattan. They never try to upcharge you for fancy unnessecesry services and are extremely professional.
