Dr Weiner is the most compassionate and understanding Vet! Besides having the best bedside manor, he is the best and most knowledgeable Doc ! He has been the Vet to all our pet family for over 25 years! I hope he never considers retiring! Don’t know what we would do without his care!!

Dr Robert Weiner and his amazing staff have been caring for our kids since we moved to Rockland County in 2001. He has cared for our cats, dogs, and African grey parrots. We could not ask for better treatment and care of our kids and completely trust that they will get the best care from Dr Bob. In the very rare occasions that a kid presents with a need outside of Dr Bob’s scope of practice, he does not hesitate to point us to the best professional to do the job.

County Animal Hosp. is always there for emergency and routine care. I feel safe allowing the staff to care for my pets.

All members of my family have taken our total of 7 dogs to Dr Weiner since the late 90’s and we could not be happier with his compassion, willingness to take time to explain what’s going on and help us make the right decisions for our pups, and general knowledgeability and expertise. He has guided us through cancer and the heartbreak of putting a love to sleep, teeth cleaning, bladder stones, and herniated vertebral discs as well as all the more usual vaccines, diarrhea, and eye infections. The practice will always find a way to fit us in in an emergency and every single staff member feels like a gift. The way they handle our pups and go above and beyond (even just helping cut off solid eye gunk). We are so grateful for this practice.

I can't say enough great things about the vets here. They are the most caring I have ever been to. They take the time to talk to you and your pet and give a thorough explanation about the diagnosis and treatment plan. They call back right away with any questions.

I have been taking my pets to Dr Weiner for over 2 decades. He is just wonderful. Compassionate, thorough, smart , personable and is conscious of cost. I highly recommend him!

The staff and doctors make you feel like family. They truly care about your pet and it shows. The docs themselves are very accessible by phone, email and even an app that lets you face time them!! My dog had gone to another local vet office for 8 years and I’m so happy I switched!! The care my dog receives here is top notch!!! Thank you County Animal Hospital!!!

Dr. Weiner and Dr. Rothstein are wonderful. Aside from being great vets, they are caring and compassionate. I would not trust my little dachshund with anyone else. Everyone that works there is very friendly and helpful and always accommodate you if there is an emergency or if you have a question. They are simply the best!

My Portuguese Water Dog Miko is a high anxiety dog. I am very pleased with Dr.Rothstein she is patient and compassion. Miko is relax when he goes to his appointments making the medical appointments easy..l trust Dr Rothstein completely with my dogs health.. l highly recommend county Animal hospital.

Very nice doctors and staff - they try to make it a fear free visit. They are very respectful of me and my dog. They take time to explain things and offer educated choices/advice about vaccines, treatments, and tests. They make a conscious effort to minimize sticker shock and combine any tests/treatments where possible.

Dr. Weiner is caring, wonderful and concerned for our pet's welfare. Communication is outstanding. I would not hesitate to refer people to him and his veterinary service.
