So, let's say that if you need someone to cut your dog's hair you can go to Bihari kennels it is a good place for your dog. It's beautiful and the people are nice.

The pet grooming is great

This is the only place I trust to bring my long haired dachshund. She gets her fur all tangled up and matted in a matter of minutes (or so it seems) to the point where I'm too nervous to brush it out/trim it myself. On the rare occasions where it gets that bad I'll take her to Bihari. She always comes out looking beautiful and smells great for a week afterwards. There's a reason they've been in business for generations--they're one of the best around.

I am so disappointed. The chopped my baby! We asked to not touch the tail and ears and they did! When we went to pick him up he was NOT himself he was scared and nervous! He loves being out the window when the car is in motion ...he wouldn't even go near the window!!!!! He's been groomed before and he has NEVER acted like this.

This was the first time I visited here for a grooming of my dog and I am satisfied. He got a good grooming. The employees were welcoming and friendly. He price is reasonable. I would take my dog there again. I recommend this place. They also Train and house dogs.

They do a great job with our pets. They have been grooming my pets for about 5 years now. I have an older dog and they take good care of him.

I trust them with furry friend

Do not leave your pets here, take them anywhere but her. A while ago I left my 4 dogs here and when I retrieved them my poor pit bull looked like he was in a fight. When I left him here he was healthy and friendly but when got him back he was dirty, half his weight and had scars over his body. The workers leaves the poor dogs outside in inclement weather and they are not properly treated nicely. This place needs to be visited by the department of health and closed permanently.

Many years I have been able to handle things and know my pets would be safely kept. Groomer is also reasonably priced.

Very bad service. My wife bought my Yorkie dog To this place and told them medium trim and they cut my dogs hair all the way off and he looked like a totally different dog.. when I called some lady with a Spanish accent kept going around that they messed up my dogs hair... very unprofessional and they don’t know how to speak to people. When I told her how unhappy I was she told me “it’s not like we can put his hair back on” so unprofessional I wouldn’t recommend anyone go give them business.. wish I read the reviews before bringing him some one need to call DOH and put them out of business. They are over here doing what ever they want to animals.. Do not I repeat DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG HERE IF YOU DONT WANT TO REGRET IT!

Top marks and high praise is the very least i could say for Mr Bihari and his world class staff! After extensively dealing with another kennel and training program and then switching to Bihari Kennels I can say, without question, this is the best Kennel and training facilty. Mr Bihari worked personally in training me and my 2 pit bulls and the progress is astounding. I know have a better understanding of how to effectively reinforce the skills he gave us in the program which is the recipe for successful training. We will continue to work with Bihari kennels and will always recommend them for training, boarding, grooming and all things pup!

Treats the dogs right, amazing staff

Joe and his staff are wonderful. They took my rescue who was afraid and growling at everyone and trained him to be a loving family dog. I highly recommend their services.

They are giving the best to my Bonnieb she looks healthy and happy. I recommend anyone to bring their pets here, they will love the place like I do.

They do a good job, can be a little pricy

A safe, trustworthy place. The staff is very nice, and i have never had a bad experience in my 15+ years with them.

We booked an appointment for our mini schnauzer a few weeks ago. Prior to his appointment, I called and had a lengthy conversation about how I would like my dog to be groomed. Very simple requests about not shaving him completely (like the last time they groomed him) and please keep his eyelashes/eyebrows and beard, so he looks like a schnauzer. The day he was dropped off, again we very clearly and politely, stated the same requests. The person I spoke with and my husband spoke with NEVER said no we cannot do those things. Not once did she say anything about, “For sanitary reasons we must cut the eyelashes all off and the eyebrows and shave him completely.” Not once did she say that our simple requests could not or would not be followed. However, after they kept our dog for 9.5 hours, we picked him up and he was completely shaved and everything was gone, beard, eyelashes, everything. We asked them why they did the EXACT opposite of what we requested? The lady now said that for sanitary reasons we have to cut the eyebrows and eyelashes. I should point out that they were just growing back from the last time that we took him there when they shaved everything so they weren’t even the least bit long. They were perfect. Clearly they’ve never groomed a miniature schnauzer or have seen a professional dog show when the main characteristics of a miniature schnauzer or any schnauzer are their eyebrows their beard and their lashes. I have never seen a miniature schnauzer at a dog show be completely shaved down and the trademark characteristics shaved for sanitary reasons. In 30 years of watching dog shows on TV and in person have I NEVER seen a shaved miniature schnauzer. Why? Because a professional groomer would never do that to a dog. The bottom line is this, we asked for a FEW very very simple requests and they completely disregarded everything we asked for. Extremely unprofessional, extremely disrespectful to our requests, and clearly a very inexperienced or lazy groomer. We purposely had him groomed before the holidays so we could take a holiday picture with him and now that’s completely out of the question, because for the second time, they made him look like a rat. I mean I could’ve easily done that myself if that was the way dogs are groomed. I cannot say how disappointed I am with the Bahari kennels grooming department.
