Don’t use this vet!! Been going here for years and have seen a steady decline in customer service. They never answer the phone and you can only schedule appointments through the Banfield website. Today I tried bringing my senior dog for her checkup and when I asked if someone could get us checked in the woman rudely told me I needed to be patient that she was the only person there. In the meantime my dog was sliding all over the floor and her hind legs are already not good. The rudeness and lack of compassion shocked me. I walked out and will never come back. I already found a new vet and cancelled my Banfield plan

Our 3 year old dog was very ill, Banfield didn’t answer phone calls and kept pushing us off. We took him to an appointment a month before he passed and they told us there was nothing wrong, he was healthy, happy. They lied. A week after that visit his health began declining quickly and we tried to plead with Banfield to no luck. When they finally did get him in we were told “there’s nothing we can do he’s squirming” and they sent us home with a concoction of 3 pills to “calm him down” for his next appointment a week later. My dog didn’t make it to a week later, but Banfield didn’t care. They saw how sick he was, why send him home? If they had actually done their job they would have seen he had a high fever and his lymph nodes were swollen. !!!Get a wellness plan with a different vet!!! One that will care for your pet and not turn you away. One that will listen to you and not just say he’ll be fine.

Made an appoint for both my dogs at 0900, we checked in at 0845, waited an hour and then we were told it would be at least another hour or so. What good is an appointment? Everyother dog that arrived was seen within minutes. I do not recommend this location as the service has gone way down.

I haven't been here yet I'm just waiting in the tube because it takes a month to see my animals that just need a check up. Its ridiculous !!! When I go and if my service is good I'll probably raise it up but for now there are 2 because it's a months to see my animal

If I could give a zero, I would. Customer service is a nightmare. It’s a fight to get any records and they’re rude about it. They made choices about my pet’s health while lacking reliable empirical evidence behind their decision. Not trustworthy people and you won’t save money— look elsewhere ???? I hope that they work hard to be better than they have been for the last few years.

I wish I could give this place an even less rating. About 2 years ago I noticed a mass growing on my dog on the right side. As a concerned owner I brought her here since they had all of her records. The nurses proceeded to tell me "oh your dog is just crooked" and brushed it off as if it was nothing. Well it grew and grew into a huge mass. I ended up going to the VCA Flannery in New Windsor. Which I HIGHLY recommend. I paid over $1400 for the surgery THAT COULD OF BEEN AVOIDED if these workers didn't just brush off my concern for my pet. So do yourself a favor and go to VCA Flannery. You will be grateful for you and your pets. Also my dog is now cancer free after the surgery if anyone was curious as to her wellbeing.

We sadly had to put out 17 year old dog down. They handled it gracefully and compassionately which is all you can ask for. Clearly staffed by people who love pets.

emily and the manager wendy are completely unprofessional. called prior to taking my 2 dogs in because i’m taking them on my lunch with my husband and wanted to be there to help since 2 dogs are a lot for him. took my 2 dogs in, waited 45 minutes and emily was completely nonchalant with an attitude (which she blamed on the fact she’s in the process of buying a house) when i asked how much longer it’ll take. she even had the audacity to start raising her voice. also the week prior, my dog was pooping blood and i called nervous because it’s something i don’t experience as often as she and she completely disregarded my worries and said to take them to a pet hospital. why do i pay monthly to be allowed to take my dogs in when they need if that’s not really the case? i filled out an email and the manager wendy called me and i can see where the unprofessionalism stems from in this business. wendy would not let me finish speaking when i was asked a question and had the nerve to say she sees what my issue is and that i have no self control. since wendy can’t see my side of the situation and is disrespecting my time and words i’m labeled as having no self control? how is she a manager? both employees are completely missing the principle of the situation. i’ve been going here since 2016 with my dogs, i’ve experienced the waiting game of an HOUR before, that wasn’t the main issue. the issue was the unprofessionalism and horrible attitudes. my daughter was told before if she was 5 minutes late they wouldn’t take my dogs in but then proceeded to make her wait 35+ minutes to even get in. we have to be respectful of their time but they can’t be for our time? wendy told us every doctor is late and that we basically should expect it which is not acceptable. why do we make these appointments then? i can see why so many amazing doctors and other employees have left. leaving the place to be as sad and unprofessional as it is right now. these are my dogs, they’re my family and deserve to be treated with some kind of respect, as am i. the way i acted is in response to their constant unprofessionalism and lack of understanding and it’s extremely disappointing, i hope they’re happy with losing two patients.

although the wait time can be a bit long, its always a great visit. I feel confident dropping my dogs off for their visit (and picking them up in a couple hours and I run other Middletown errands - I live in Pine Bush). Sturzione is the vet my animals see and I think he's great.

This vet is located inside of PetSmart by Dunning road. Staff was super friendly. They have a drop off process where you drop off your pet and pick up a few hours later. The doctor who saw my kitten was very nice and thorough. They even offered a monthly membership plan which included unlimited visits but did not push hard for me to buy it. I picked up my kitten after 3 hours and he was fed and had kitty litter rest room access during his time there. Excellent service.

Made grooming appointment yesterday online. Got a call the day of the appointment to cancel online appointment as we were already on the way to store and had to reschedule for next day. Were told our pet would be ready for pickup in an hour. Waited 2 and a half hours.

They adapted pretty well to the whole pandemic thing. I know my dog is safe with them.

Had to wait over 4 hours for a simple consultation. Only to find out my cat already had his checkup and was done when I pressed the issue of waiting so long.
