I have used them for years and never have been disappointed with their care or concern over any one of my fur babies, staff is caring and friendly and vet goes above and beyond explaining any issues or problems. The compassion they showed when it was time to say goodbye to one of my fur babies is what touched me the most. I highly recommend them.

I have being going to Veterinary Care Group Maspeth for almost 20 years, back when it was called Maspeth Animal Hospital and Dr. Raider was the main DVM. They have always provided the best, most compassionate and most attentive care to my former dog Heidi, who lived to be 16 and a half, and my current dog, Lucy, who is almost 12 and super healthy and very energetic. The staff is tremendous, and Donna McKay, the office manager, is so knowledgeable, so warm and friendly and so efficient, it's always been a pleasure to work with her. I recommend this place very highly. They are also operating currently under the very safest of Covid protocols. I can't imagine going anywhere else for my dog's well being and continued good health. I went there yesterday and it is still wonderful. I recommend it highly.

I am a First time dog mom and was beyond worried and had so many concerns regarding my dog, And they took amazing care of my little shorkie! Answered all my questions and concerns and did everything in a short amount of time ! Found the perfect vet for my dog ! Prices are good to .

I’ve only been here 2 times (once for my cat’s bloodwork and another time for the spaying surgery) so please take this review with a grain of salt. From my experiences here, I could not recommend this place more for anyone who is a first time pet owner or any pet owners in general looking for a new vet.The staff members were always so sweet and willing to clarify any concerns I had whether its through the phone or in person. I felt very reassured whenever I dropped off Juno (my lovely cat) even though I couldn’t go inside but I knew she was in good hands. Their prices are also very reasonable and the “add-ons” are usually for the safety of your pets (not to rob your wallets), and you can always decline those extra add-ons and they will take it off your bill. I’ll speak a bit more on the spaying surgery process that I went through. After dropping off Juno at 9am, they gave me a call around 12pm to let me know how the operation went, how Juno was doing, and what time I should pick her up. At 3pm, I picked her up and she was in a cone and shirt thingy (not sure what its called) as an extra precaution.They also gave me medicine for her and detailed instructions for her aftercare treatment. Hope any pet owners who are frantically searching for a reliable vet to take care of their pet on Google can see this review and consider this amazing place :)

I switched my dogs Veterinarian in the beginning of this year. Covid restrictions at first made me apprehensive because I hate to leave my KJ especially in times of distress. However both locations - Middle Village & Maspeth were extremely attentive and put me at ease. I want to particularly highlight veterinarian Dr. Alida Sanabria. She is the best veterinarian I have ever took my 10 year old cocker spaniel to. She is extremely compassionate, personable and I truly sense it is her passion to help our babies! I want to thank her & the staff at the Maspeth location for doing all they can in ensuring my baby continues to live a long healthy life.

Get your Pet Medications on-line. Prices for my dog meds are almost twice as much at this location. Never again! i.e. $105 at location, $75 on-line $36 at location $20 on-line BIG DIFFERENCE! They charged me $27 for a cheap plastic dog cone they got for free from Covetrus. Dr. Sanabria will recommend all types of test that you really don't need. Only reason I went back to this place, I thought I was going to see Dr. Barnes (The Best) who only recommends needed tests! I'm done with this place, going back to my other vet!

Even with necessary virus restrictions, professional but warm atmosphere. Even though I must leave my cats with staff at the door now, the doctor calls to give me all the info and answers, no rushing.

Friendly environment. Took care of my liver anxious dog. Didn't recommend unnecessary procedures or test. Exam cost reasonable. Medicine cheaper elsewhere. Would return.

I really love this place!!! I was able to get a appointment for my dog very last minute and they were so professional!!! My dog is normally very scared and nervous around new people but he seemed fine and happy after his appointment!!! I’m so happy I found this vet for my dog!!!!

The best vet I’ve been to. I’ve had a sick cat for quite a while and I’ve taken her to many vets but this one is by far the best. So so friendly and helpful and they really do try their best to look out for your animals health and not their own profits. Amazing spot! It’s a little hard to squeeze into your schedule cause they’re always busy and booked but it’s worth the wait.

I will recommended Maspeth Veterinary Care Group and Astoria Vet Care Group which took care of our Australian Yorkie Terrier Shadow which diagnosis his with bone cancer in January 2021 and we had to euthanized our four-legged family member on April 23rd and the Maspeth Vet was so supportive and make this transition so easy for my daughter Bryana. Due to the COVID the let her dad come in with her for support. A month later we found a kitten in our van which I think Shadow brought him to us because we were so sad and Shadow was an awesome companion for our family. We brought kitty which we named Axel (7 wks 6 days) to make sure he was healthy which he was except the parasite which is normal for a kitten in the street due to his mother's milk.

I followed Dr. Sanabria all the way to Maspeth, Queens and it is pretty far from where I live. But she's amazing and explains with details the service she provides for my doggy. She is very thorough and will only do what's necessary for your pet. She will listen to your concerns and offer the best service. Staff is very friendly and professional. Wish she was closer to me but I have recommended several people to her. My aunt takes her dog to this clinic as well.

Excellent experience being a first time vet patient in Maspeth office.. On time appointments, caring & polite staff, and very knowledgeable doctor who answers all questions in detail. I highly recommend - very satisfied.

I don't usually post reviews, but VCG has been my go-to vet place for the past two years. Sometimes it can be hard to reach them by phone, but it's understandable given they receive a lot of pet owners. They have a small parking lot in the back for those traveling far, it can be cramped at times, but you'll manage. Aside from that, all the staff are friendly and very thorough with their explanations of the specifics for your pet. They definitely know how to handle pets because I have a very feisty cat who hates being outside of his comfort zone, but they handled him very well. If you're thinking about a vet place for you pet, VCG is the way to go.

I was nervous about not being able to go into the appointment with my baby. The office let me know everything that was going on and answered all of my questions.

I have had such a positive experience with VCG overall and especially VCG Maspeth! They were very responsive with my calls/messages and were helpful in getting me an earlier appointment from my original date. From the staff to the doctor, they were all polite and so pleasant to work with! They answered all my questions and were understanding about all my concerns for my newly adopted cat, Mango. They didn’t push any services on me and helped me make informed decisions about their services. They put my worries at ease as well as gave me advice as Mango is my first pet. I had my first appt with VCA maspeth the other day. My cat was sick and I was able to get a same day appt as opposed to having to take her to emergency care. In these days of not being able to go in with your animal it can be really unsettling to have to hand them over to a stranger. Everything went smoothly they were extremely organized and I felt very comfortable with whole experience. Im a dog groomer and they were recommended by some of my clients, and my clients were absolutely correct in their recommendation. I know they treated my little boo with the same care respect and compassion that I give my clients!

Dr Barnes took great care of my beloved cat Clair during her final days. Dr Barnes is a wonderful vet and I am grateful she was there to support us during that difficult time.
