LOVE dogs retreat and the amazing staff!! They treat the dogs like their own. I would definitely recommend them for daycare, boarding and grooming!!

As a single dog mom who works long hours, I am so grateful to have found Dog’s Retreat. My CeCe girl has been going to DR for about six months (since she was six months old) and is bursting to jump out of the car every time we pull into the parking lot. When I pick her up, I can tell she had the time of her life. I really can’t say enough good things about DR. They are accommodating and reliable. They also do a great job vetting other dogs. I wish I could be with my CeCe girl all day, every day - but when I can’t be, I know she’s in good hands at Dog’s Retreat.

Teresa and her staff at Dogs Retreat are wonderful. Our 4 labs just love going for the day just to play with the other dogs. The grooming staff are also wonderful. We trust Dogs Retreat 100% with our fur babies. Weather they go for daycare or boarding, they always come home happy and tired. We just love this place.

We are from out of town and needed to board our dog for couple of days. It was easy to make arrangements. Our dog must have had lots of fun because he came home happy and tired. I was able to call and check on him during his stay and heard he was having a great time with all the other dogs. Will be back when we come to visit family.

We LOVE Dog's Retreat!! We have a 2 year old hound, he's a rescue with some anxiety. He absolutely loves Dog's Retreat and has been attending for about a year. He gets so excited as soon as we arrive and comes home all tired out! He's not a dog that can be left home alone all day and the opportunity for play, socialization, and exercise while we are at work has been great for him. Staff is friendly and our dog is always happy to see them. Dog's Retreat is very convenient. I can bring our dog for the day without having to make reservations and they have half day options. Having daycare has made a huge difference for our big hound, and we're so happy to have found Dog's Retreat!

It is nice to know they go above and beyond for the dogs and the customers. My little guy can't wait to get there everyday.

Our Foxhound mix Roper loves Dog's Retreat and we LOVE Dog's Retreat! I used to work for a family business and know that customer service is key! They do not disappoint. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. My dog does not get excited about many people or things (Except Food/Smells), but he absolutely loves the owner's son. Roper starts wagging like crazy when he hears his voice. He comes home exhausted. I love the fact, I don't have to go online or call to book daycare days. We just drop him off when we need daycare. I know they do boarding. Not sure how that works, but we have had friends use them when they went on vacation. They said their Boston Terrier pup who is always high energy passed out on the way home. I recommend them to anyone with a pup!

My dog started here a few weeks ago. He loves it and I can see they love him. There is a lot of room for him to play. I looked at a lot of places and I am happy I went with this one!

Dogs Retreat is an awesome place! They are always available to take our pup even on short notices and he gets great care while he stays there AND they didn’t charge any late fee when we canceled a boarding last minute! It feels like our dog is being watched by family and that is a good feeling.

We love bringing our dogs here, and even more importantly, they both love it too! We know they will always be cared for, whether it's day care or boarding, dogs retreat is the best!

Ultimately had to cancel the pup’s little vacation here, but I really appreciated working with everyone there leading up to his stay - they were very accommodating on a number of fronts, answered all my questions, and welcomed our pup with open arms for the weekend despite never meeting him before. They were extremely cool about the late cancel (although I felt bad for doing so). If we ever wind up back at Saratoga, this will be the first place we book…even before a human hotel.

They where absolutely the best! We went for a trial stay with my golden and had no problems. Fast forward to his actual overnight and he went crazy. They were able to adjust to his needs to make him more comfortable and make us continue on our vacation worry free.

My 2 pups, Hopper and Lucy love it here! It is great to know our dogs are taken care of when we go on vacation. Thank you!!!

I honestly cannot say enough great things about Dog's Retreat. We have a 14-year-old husky who we usually board at our vet, which is set up more like a kennel. The last time we went away and used our vet's kennel, when we picked up Raider, he could barely walk. We knew he could no longer just lay around with limited freedom at his age. He also cannot go up stairs, which eliminated friends & family from watching him when we would go away. My search was on for a dog boarder who understood the needs of older dogs and did not have stairs. After calling around to numerous places within the Capital District, I was so happy to find Teresa! One of the ONLY dog boarders that has a ramp instead of stairs for older dogs. Her and her son were more than happy to cater to Raider's needs as an older, and sometimes stubborn, dog. We first left him there for a short trip, and he did great. Theresa and her son took great care of him, and gave us access to the web cams so we could see how he was holding up since he's not really use to being away from his home. More recently, went away for a week-long trip, and our family member was going to keep our dog, but when that fell through the day we left, I was scrambling to find space for Raider on a holiday weekend. I was already 10 hours away and trying to make arrangements. I called Teresa, of course, since it was a holiday weekend, she was booked with no room for Raider. After moving things around and looking at her schedule for a few minutes, she found space for Raider providing we could bring a crate with us. Such a life saver on such short notice. She worked with us to make sure she could fit him, and knew it would be a lot to take on, but also knew the pinch we were in as we were already out of town. She happily figured it out and accommodated even knowing it meant more work for her on a holiday weekend. That is true customer service and commitment. When we picked up Raider, after a week, he was happy and moving around great - just proof that Teresa and her son (and others) take such great care of the dogs they take in. I truly cannot say enough great things. Just knowing that our dog is well taken care of when we are away gives such peace of mind. If you need a place to bring your dog for a day, or a trip, Dog's Retreat is the best around. Their love of animals shines through the second you meet them. This is the ONLY place we will bring Raider to, and any other future dogs we may have. I tell everyone about Dog's Retreat and will continue to do so. Best place around, hands down!

I go to Dog's Retreat to get my dog groomed by Tiffany. She is wonderful and extremely good at her job. My dog is unfortunately dog reactive and Tiffany is always willing to fit us in at a time when the boarding dogs aren't out and there are less people/dogs around in general. She is exceptionally good at her job and I highly recommend her if anyone is looking to get their dog groomed.

Theresa, Jesse and crew took great care of my skittish dog while we were away on vacation. Thank you to Pet Retreat. Highly recommend to anyone seeking a high quality reliable boarding facility in the Capital region.

Teresa and her staff are amazing! I wouldn't leave my dog anywhere else. I know she is in good hands while we are away and we never feel like a burden when we check in to see how she is doing. Our pets are our family and that is how they treat them there too! Great friendly staff.

First time pet mom here!! Super nervous , but the team at dogs retreat have been nothing but helpful and understanding!! Bowie loves going and I love that I can check in on him anytime!! Theresa is super quick to respond to any questions that I have and I always know he is safe and in good hands!! 10 out of 10!!

My dogs love it there and that is the best review I can think to give. They come home healthy and happy. And tired! Which works for me. They seem to really love my dogs as well. Also important. Boarding includes daycare (something we have to pay additionally for when boarding at our vet). Theresa is responsive and personable as is her staff. They do just what they advertise, treat my dogs as family.

Theresa and her staff are so friendly to both the pups and their humans. They are true dog people who really love their job! Our nervous ‘grand dog’ just loves going there. He can’t wait to get in the door so he can go play with the other dogs. He leaves having gotten a good day’s exercise. The facility is well run with very accommodating hours. There are live feed cameras if you want to see your dog in action in the play areas.. Would highly recommend it.

So glad I found Dog's Retreat. I take my 10 month old puppy there for socialization. He loves going. Teresa and her staff are amazing and really enjoy what they do. They are always friendly and accommodating with my schedule. Great place, great staff, couldn't ask for anything more!

Our dog has been going to Dogs Retreat since she was a puppy and we love it there! The staff is amazing with the animals and they are so accommodating! We love seeing how much our dog loves going there when we drop her off!

My fur baby "KC" loves coming here. After the closure of his other daycare I did not know where to go. Dog's Retreat came highly recommended. This is now his second home... And we are happy. And they open at 6:30 in the morning... A drop off before work.

Dog's Retreat gave my nervous/naughty puppy a chance. They slowly introduced him to the larger group. He loves it there now. I highly recommend them for day care! Their hours are also really helpful for someone with a flexible schedule.

What a great concept for doggie daycare! There are indoor and outside areas where dogs roam free rather than being in cooped up separate runs all day. Dogs are grouped by size and run and play all day. Play areas are cleaned frequently. A well run facility, the staff are friendly and professional. Hours of operation accommodate varied work schedules. Convenient location, quick in and out.

Best Doggy Daycare provider on the planet! Teresa and her staff care for each dog like they are family. My dog can be a handful and they treat him as I would. He is also very anxious and fearful, but the staff at Dogs Retreat are exceptional in handling all pup personalities! My dog is always so excited to go to “Teresa and Jesse’s” and will run right to the car. I have recommended Dog’s Retreat my friends who own dogs, and they also bring their dogs here as well! You should too!
