Horrible attitude from receptionist. She did everything in her power to make me feel un-welcomed over the phone. Not taking my baby there!

Do not believe the message in their answering machine. Unless your dog is at deaths door They are NOT A WALK IN CLINIC. In fact you CAN NOT PREBOOk any appointment. Which means you have to call each morning at 8:30 and hope they have a slot for that day. Clue …. they never do. So you virtually can never get an appointment with them that is at all convenient or timely.. . I am retired ……if I am retired and can’t get an appointment during the day with my wide open schedule I don’t know how anyone gets an appointment that’s convenient for them when they’re working. The vets are good the staff is good the corporate new policy of booking sucks abd is beyond frustrating

I brought my pet there on 3 occasions and could not be seen! I understand, That it's a walk in only Veterinarian Service! But, I was there every morning @ 9am. opening. My third attempt,I was there at 8: 40am and was told my pet could not be seen. I wanted further clarity on how this walk in situation works. Then I was told that day. We start accepting calls at 8:40. I was there physically waiting and didn't call! I didn't know and that wasn't specified. It's a disappointment because I live walking distance. But, it isn't convenient if my pet cannot be seen!

it is okay, i will be taking my cats there, they give clear instructions and help out a lot. The reason why I gave three stars is because the receptionist gave a whole attitude for basic questions then when i finally went inside and got my cat back. She proceeded to pick up my cat from his carrier without my permission and kissed him and kept carrying him around. i personally don’t like when strangers and non vets go and grab my cat and start kissing them without permission. I don’t know her nor does she know me. Please train receptionists to be more professional to clients over the phone and in person. Overall was a good experience and my cat is okay, i go to school studying pre vet to become a vet. This is a safety concern. She doesn’t who don’t know what the cat has and could be transferring that to other pets nor do I know what the receptionist has if she kisses over animals. also I would treat the clients like human beings when talking to them. Thank you for everything. ( I’m not trying to get this women fired or anything. I’m just concerned on the lack of training)

If you love your pet DO NOT GO HERE. First off, if you're calling about a simple issue the doctor will not call you back or bother hearing you out. They will have a receptionist call you back and guess what? The receptionist will give you their own nonmedical advice and put your pets life/health at risk. After not getting a call back about blood in my cats stool, I called again and the receptionist or tech said these exact words, "There could be a lot of reasons for blood in stool and the only way you could find out is by spending a lot of money." The unprofessionalism and inconsideration is sickening. Second, the doctors and staff are extremely rude and unwelcoming. They rush every check up just so they can get the next pet in for more money. Oh yea and on top of all that everything is extremely overpriced. BUT wait it gets better. My cat had tapeworms and the doctor prescribed him a topical solution called profender. I look up the product before giving it to him just to find out that this product has KILLED AND INJURED hundreds of healthy cats. How can medical professionals administer a medication that could KILL OR HURT ANIMALS??? I was baffled. The doctors most likely got free samples because they sold me a $10 medication for $50!!! I understand charging double but that's literally 5xs the actual price. As someone who has several pets and has been to endless vets, I AM WARNING YOU!!! this is NOT A SAFE or pleasant clinic. BEWARE AND SAVE UR PET FROM THIS SLAUGHTER HOUSE!!!!

I spoke with Nicole this morning and was advised that my dog was not going to be seen at 9:00 AM. I arrived at exactly 9:06 AM and seven customers were ahead of me, I did let her know that I drove from central New Jersey to bring my dog since I have been a long time customer for this office. I followed the instructions to be here early and was denied service. Thank you, you lost me as a customer, this is atrocious.

The Vet seemed good the one time we were able to get in. Tried 4 consecutive days to bring my dog for his next round of vaccinations and could not get in. If this place is that busy they should do appointments, I don’t have time to try to bring him in every day for a week until we get lucky. Switched to vetrinaire on senate and couldn’t be happier.

They've taken very good care of my dog! She had to have surgery and the vet was amazing with her. He also took the time to answer all of my questions, it didn't feel rushed at all. I just wish I could make appointments, this walk in only policy is unfavorable. Also her vet is not always at this location which makes it a little harder to consistently see him. I'm sure everyone is just as qualified, I'd just rather see the same person for her. But otherwise they are all super sweet and friendly, I trust them with my fur baby!

Called in for an appointment was told I didn’t need one just to come in between 2 and 6. Arrived at 3 PM and was told we are not seeing anyone else today. Professionalism at this place is none existent!

Been coming here for 9 months and have been treated so well and so has my puppy. Until I was given attitude and an off tone by an employee named Nicole very rude. I called three times 1st time was to check my pup in and was told the wait would be 45- 1 hour no problem with that. An hour passed by I took my dog to a park nearby and decided to call to see how much longer a nice man answered and told me my pup would be next. So we went back I called 30 min later I have now been waiting 1 hour and 30 min the girl answered so rudely just because I wanted to know how much longer. I didn’t mind the wait I just wanted to have a time specification. I truly hope someone tells her about her attitude and that no one has to speak to her over the phone

Excellent place to take your doggy to. Did not need to make no appointment, you just call that your there and they pick your doggy up. They made my dog joy feel joyful again as well as wonderful workers. They are not expensive which is great! Will come here again if needed!!

Been bringing my dog here for years, never had any complaints. All the Doctors are amazing. The staff is very loving and caring of my pup. Unfortunately my recent contact with the office wasn’t so great. Nicole, the receptionist was super rude and nasty. Both on the phone the day before and when I went to pick up my dog’s medication.

At first, this vet was extremely nice and professional but after COVID-19 occurred they are not being very reliable at all. On March, my dog was supposed to get spayed so I called them informing my dog needs to get spayed as soon as possible plus the vet even provides a paper with dates on what your pets need to get done. So as a pet owner I am following the instructions. They informed me due to the pandemic they are not doing no surgeries at the moment. I had to call Animal Infirmary of Hoboken, in which they are all the same owners. I call Hoboken and a gentleman told me for now I will be on the waiting list until the doctors do surgeries again. Okay that is fine, I understand no surgeries are provided due to the pandemic but as months goes by I called back at the end of May because businesses are opening up and they told me surgeries are back on track now and if I will like to be on the waiting list ? When I clearly said I have been on the waiting since March, she then apologize and told me my name was not in the system for the waiting list. Okay... so I was never in the waiting list the whole time so I told her to put me on it. After that the next day, I called the heights vet to book my dog worm test and the day I went to do her worm test which was June, I explained to the gentleman at the front desk how upset I was with Hoboken and my dog need to get her spayed done ASAP so he then told me to not worry he will assist me in which he did not because when my dog was done with her worm test , he only informed me about the payment. I honestly could’ve said something and talked to an upper management but after I’ve realize it’s not worth it anymore. I was so upset that I didn’t even want to talk to none of their staff anymore so I moved to a different vet and luckily they accepted new patients and was able to schedule my dog spayed surgery.Until this day, August 16, 2020 Hoboken still hasn’t called me so to them I am still in the waiting list!!

I have always had a positive experience here for my cats and especially my dog. She tends to have panic attacks with bouts of vomiting at the vet. The staff here has always been very nice to my 13 yr old pit, Lina, and loves to see her. They also cut nails which is excellent because most grooming places won't for her. Just took her for a clipping yesterday and I was so happy they were able to during this time.

My first visit today, I was happy they take walk ins because I've been trying to get my dog to be seen for about 2 weeks and his vet wouldn't see him. First time here and I loved it . The stuff very professional and Dr Walter explained to me everything and answered every question I had. Definitely coming back if I need it . Prices are reasonable.

While there was a wait due to the current COVID walk-in protocol, we had a great experience and appreciate Heights Veterinary Associates for keeping all humans and pets safe during this time! The entire team was super friendly and gave our pup lots of attention. This was our first time at this practice, and we’ll definitely be back!
