I wish I had found this place years ago! Haven't seen a vet this good in 10+ years on LI. The actual doctor called me back to follow up. Took my call when I called back. Knows what he doing but is also a realist. I was referred to him with a strong recommendation and now I understand.

The office did not disclose you were not permitted to go in with your pet when making the appt. You can go in a hospital, nursing home, restaurant etc...but not the vet...oh well I'll find one who allows pet parents

Took my dog to see Dr Camay, the most compassionate veterinarian I have come across. My dog was given excellent care. I highly recommend this vet to anyone who needs a vet. I read he was retiring, but this is not the case at all.

Dr Camay and his support staff are all helpful, friendly and provide truly excellent care. You might find a doctor who charges less, but you'll never find a more caring, thorough veterinarian! 2 thumbs up!

Dr. Camay, Sue, and Ivy, there are no words to describe how wonderful you (and everyone here) have been to me and my family for all of our animals. Especially these last couple of months with Gio. Sadly we had to let Gio go and rest, and i dont think we could have done it without the comfort and understanding, and compassion we got with everyone here. Dr. Camay did everything possible to keep my boy comfortable and with us as long as possible, he was always responding to my e-mails and phone calls, and there for me.. listening to all of my concerns and questions. Sue, always checking in to see how we were doing. Ivy, you made Gio so comfortable everytime, and made the visits a lot less stressful for him. I cannot thank you all enough. Thank you thank you!

My cat was very ill. More than I was aware and they sent her to cat heaven for me and ended her suffering.

The vet starts screaming at people when they can’t control the pet. It’s their job charging thousands of dollars highly untrained staff rude and not worth the money you will spend.

Super rude staff the lady on the front counter is very rude and very over priced do not go here.

Great vet hospital. Friendly staff and very caring.

Charged us 300 dollars for a simple gland checkup which was acceptable. The very next day my cat was still licking herself. After a week of the same we were told to bring her back in. We were then charged well over 300 dollars again for the same checkup and added injections. It was not our fault they failed to remedy the problem the first time and released her anyway. Over 600 dollars for a non surgical procedure is insulting and obnoxious. We will be among the others who move our beloved pets to a place that will listen to their clients. Avoid this place, even when pleaded with they will not communicate with you nor will they work with you for your best interest and the best interest of your pet.

Amazing Staff. Took my cat in when he was in critical condition. Helped me with all my options and were very honest with me. Sadly had to put my cat down and they were there helping me understand every step and made me feel comfortable with my decision. If I ever have another pet this will be my go to Vet forever. Thank you.

I've been going to Park Hills Animal Hospital for many years now and travel all the way from NYC. Dr. Camay and O'Keeffe have always been wonderful to both myself and my cats! My one cat is 14 now and has been going through a rough time the past few months. Dr. Camay has worked to help my cat feel better and is always giving me options that work for me and what is best for my cat. Thank you Park Hills Animal Hospital!

Love Dr. Camay! My kitten came from the pet store with many issues, however when I found Park Hills, I always feel 110% cared for and in control of my kittens health. Their office is convenient for visits and very clean!!

Dr. O'Keefe and Dr. Camay have taken great care of our two dogs. They are very patient and take their time examining them and working to resolve any health issues the pups may have. i highly recommend them.

Seriously the worst. The vet starting screaming at me in the exam room because I was touching my pet and in his way. I felt physically threatened. There is less LESS than zero excuse for this behavior. Unacceptable, grotesque and inhumane!!

The doctor there is very nice. She was very caring when I had to put my dog to sleep. Prices seem average. Same as most.

My dog Lola is as important to me as any of my other family members and since the day I brought her home I have entrusted her care to Dr. Howard Camay. Dr. Camay (and the entire staff at Park Hills) has always given Lola t he best of care while treating me, a "nervous mom", with sensitivity and respect. His follow up is remarkable, calling even on nights and weekends to ensure Lola is doing well. I trust Dr. Camay implicitly and give both him and his entire staff the highest of praise!

We have been using Park Hills FOR YEARS. They are the most caring people I have met. They helped get us through having to put two of our dogs asleep and literally saved the life of our oldest dog 3 times, the last time when he was diagnosed with liver cancer. I have read the negative reviews on line and find them to so contrary to what I have experienced as to be simply unbelievable.

We have been going to Park Hills Animal Hospital since our 16.5 year old Maltese has been born.I can't say enough about this place. They treat you and your pet like family. Dr. Camay is kind,professional and compassionate. Our dog Lola is like our child and with the help of DR. Camay they have extended her life by many years. She is a 4.5 pound Maltese and being a senior dog she has some medical issues. They have prescribed medicine that has kept her going for this long.Our dog is High strung and he and the staff have the charm that keeps her calm. The office manager Sue is a delight to work with and is always there for us if we need something. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for quality pet care.

We just came back from a visit for our kitten Sammy. From the moment we requested the appointment and the care Dr. O’Keefe, we are so grateful for her advice. She even gave us a loaner carrier for Sammy. Thank you so much for your great care!

The vet was insulting and I am afraid to leave my pets with them.

If you have any issue with your dog or cat, or just need a wellness check and shots, these are the vets that a want to see. The Vets themselves are so caring and attentive. You can feel their warmth and love for animals the minute you walk in the door. And the staff, WOW. Sue and Ivy are the best. They will treat your pet like it is their pet. What more could you ask for? This is also very important. They saved the life of our dog Mozart when he had a terrible GI infection.

Dr Camay, Dr Kramer and the entire staff are fantastic. They are wonderful with the pets and provide first class care. I give them my highest possible recommendation.
