They’re not accepting new clients until February according to the receptionist. How inconvenient.

I've been taking my dog here for 4 years. The team at Pawsitive have always been kind, professional and responsive. Would highly recommend to any pet owners in the BK area.

Competent, but kind of rush you due to the volume animals they see. Understandable, I guess, since we all got pets during Covid lockdown. :)

Came in after my dachshund was having back pain and abdominal pain. We were both a mess. They were extremely helpful and let me do an in person appointment. They listened, were very gentle, extremely kind (I was crying hysterically) and she was seen right right away. Thank you so much for taking care of my baby!

For a quick in and out this place is BARELY fine. But for actual long term care the doctors don't offer much in the way of unconventional thinking. There is a lot of guessing work on their end which adds up financially only to have you stuck with a high cost bill and no solution. No advice offered for preventative or alternative measures. Just test after test and surgery. Lastly they are severely understaffed which also causes the lack of customers service, if you want to call it service at all. The font desk is unbelievably unacceptable. It's as if they where hired as a favor to someone.

Awful! We’ve been using them for 1.5 years. And we couldn’t understand why they keep for easy procedures our dog for 3 hours. They scheduled appointment to change a bandage for 9am. At 12 pm our dog wasn’t ready. Change the Bandage!! And they said, the doctor comes at 10am. So why you ask me to bring my dog at 9am? They put her in crate, even though our dog hasn’t been a crate entire life. And I always was concern why she is so anxious after visiting them. Now I know! And never ever again! They using COVID excuse to gather 20 pets at the same time and keep them for 3-4 hours. they only care about to get more business but not really about your pet!

Visited this location to drop off our 1yr old German Shepherd for a checkup just before 10am. Roughly 2 hours later we called about 6 times with no answer. When we finally reached the front desk at 12pm, we were told he was "resting comfortably" but offered no more information. I was told the Vet will call us back in a few minutes. I called in again at 1pm after I didn't hear back, heard the woman on the phone tell someone to go check on him and was told our dog hasn't been seen by anyone yet...3 hours in, not seen at all. Here's a recommendation, dont stack appointments,, call all your scheduled appointments to let them know about extended wait times before holding anyone's pet without being seen. It's professional, it's courteous, and just good business to do so.. It's UNPROFESSIONAL to have your clients wait without knowing anything about what's going on during that time, especially when no one picks up the phone.

Knowledgeable, friendly, well-organized and take the time to listen about your pet concerns. Reasonably priced for the services they provide and don't over test like some vets do.

Good experience here, did not feel like I was influenced to spend a lot of money on services I didn’t understand, vet was extremely supportive and transparent about things, my little dog got great service. Definitely a good pick for emergency vet services

If I could I give zero reviews I would. This place neglected to properly care for my dog. Ignored all his symptoms. He got so sick. I took him to another vet who thank goddess is more competent. If you care about your pets take them somewhere else!

They're fine and convenient, but I consider them kind of incompetent because the first time I took my cat to them they said nothing about my cat's dental problems which needed some bad teeth to be extracted. It was something I was already aware of from a previous vet that I wasn't able to get done before we moved so I was kinda expecting to get that taken care of now that I was able to, but not a peep about the bad teeth from this vet. I ended up taking my cat back to the previous vet in Manhattan to have those bad teeth extracted.

I can't say enough good things about Pawsitive - We love all animals and would not trust anyone else with our babies. Thank you so much!

First, let me say I'm a big fan of the owner, Dr. Perry, who is a great veterinarian. Unfortunately, many of the current staff is unfriendly and full of arbitrary rules. Lots of "you must do this" and "you must do that" before we can see or treat your dog. I breed and show dogs and recently took my 12-week old puppy in for a vaccine shot, her second. The first shot was done by my repro vet on Long Island. She was there for 6 HOURS for what should have been a 15 minute visit. Mark me an unhappy camper.

These guys are the best. From the time I walked into the door, they welcomed me and my dog with open arms. Explaining every detail from treatment to grooming. Offering and explaining all options for my dog coco. I won't take her anywhere else.

I brought my dog in at the last minute as an emergency visit on a day where my regular vet was closed. The staff was not only communicative but also very personable, and kept me updated throughout my pet’s exam and treatment. Dr. Perry was very thoughtful and provided advice for some home treatment alternatives instead of automatically adding more expensive, unnecessary medication to my bill. Given the nature of the visit, it was about half as expensive as other “emergency” pet hospitals and my dog clearly was at ease in their care. Would recommend!

Horrible service. My puppy spent there 6 hours for 2 vaccines even if we had an appointment. Communication was completely messed up by staff and doctor.

Small, a bit cramped...but the vets seem to be very knowledgeable. A good neighborhood choice.
