I can not speak for the exam because you are not allowed in the room these days but in my 40 years of going to vets this was one of the best experiences I've had. From my initial call they were so nice. I chose the office because the person answering the phone made me feel not only comfortable but she was concerned and wanted to help. On arrival, I was anxious and upset which causes me to babble a bit lol and the staff was so accommodating - very empathetic - the doctor came outside and explained and listened to me quite patiently - he gave me medication and advice and I am very happy I chose to go there. I of course hope I do not have to return! :)

Unprofessional, rude, gave false diagnosis to cover up his mistake and did more harm than help to my pet. Also took many attempts to obtain records.

The Dr. And his staff are truly amazing. They assisted us with helping our boy cross the rainbow bridge at home. They were patient and understanding. We hope to not have any other furmember cross anytime soon but when the time comes there will be no one else we will be using. Thank you for your compassion and amazing service!

I have taken my dog to this Dr. Briones for years even though he is not sort of a nice person but still i could cope with it. Today I took my dog with a severe allergy he could not stop scratching his nose, ears and paws day and night. What doctor Briones told us was that must likely his allergy was due to ears infection and that his nose was probably due to his teeth condition ,which it was not . Now after checking him and giving the medicine his conditions we asked him for his advice as how going around to have the dog receive this treatment and what he said was that we have to figure it out and left without saying any thing .He is very rude. Needs polishing his attitude Also says that if the dogs bites he does not apply any medicine onto the pet. But if you p ay him extra he will do it. If he does not like dogs that bite he should let people know in advance This doctor should be called Dr, Ca....br...nes Hope never to go back there

We have been bringing our cat to Healthy Pets for years. Dr. Briones is so patient and accommodating with us, but most importantly, he is wonderful with our cat. We are so thankful for the care throughout the years. Thanks, Dr. Briones and team!

I have never written a review but I had to for this business. I had showed up to my appointment on time and when we started to talk about the symptoms going on with my dog, Dr Briones toned changed, “I’m not asking you that, what I’m asking is this”. I found it so rude that I was trying to explain and he wouldn’t listen. He needs to change his approach because it is not pleasant and rather rude. I was so taken back by his bedside manners that, it had me upset. There are better clinics in the area than this one and also economically better. I wish nothing but growth for this clinic.

Dr. Briones is rude and not very accommodating, did not recognize my pet's early symptoms and now my loved one only has about a year left. Glad I switched vets.

I’ve taken 3 cats to Dr. Briones and I’ve never had a negative experience. He’s been professional, personal, and goes above and beyond to remain calm and compassionate. He was able to help my pets recover when other more expensive vets were unable to help me. He is perfectly bilingual in English and Spanish, which is great and really comforting. I trust him with my pets lives and that’s not something I take lightly.

I was to scared to review this doctor but after seeing the last comments I have to say Dr Briones is one of the rudest doctors I have ever met. He as well closed the door in my face after I was asking questions. I can’t even imagine how he treats the people that work for him. I felt so disrespected, I’m bringing Business into his clinic and this is how he treats me, no I cannot. Do not go to this doctor he has no patience and more so when you can’t understand him and as him to repeat what he said (not a native English speaker).

Found this doctor through google and decided to give him a try. The worst decision I have ever made. He treated me like I was ignorant and told his employees to deal with me since he was too upset over the fact I asked questions about my dogs health. Believe the comments. If he treats his customers like this, I can’t even imagine how he treats his workers. I will never be coming here again.

I came to the doctor for an appointment and was super upset at me because my English is not good and processed to slander me on and I quote “you can’t speak English so I can’t help you” I’m am beyond furious. My friend is currently helping me write this review. How can a doctor tell a client that and even said it in front of other clients as well.

Receptionist said three weeks for a food order to go through. THREE WEEKS! Checked on-line and food is $30 cheaper and will be delivered in a day elsewhere. This vet is way over priced and doesn't appreciate the business.

Horrible place, Doctor was really rude and sent me to another place. Why become a vet if you’re going to be so nasty to your clients. Come at your own risk. One love is much better than this clinic they actually teach you with respect

It’s not my style to publicly slander anyone’s business but TRUST ME, this should not be your first pick.

Dr Briones and the staff are great. They have gotten my dog in last minute and are very transparent with cost and treatment. My dog is relaxed here and seems to actually enjoy it which is 5 stars for me.

Dr. Briones is a kind and compassionate veterinarian. He is extremely knowledgeable and has a mindful and consistent approach. He is good at investigating illness and finding the best treatment plan for your pet. He was so kind to me when I adopted a cat that ended up having advanced Felv. He did what he could to treat my cat and helped me end his suffering when he got too sick. He is now taking great care of my dog too. He is great with cat and dogs and their people!

Dr. Briones is a good veterinarian. He took good care of our lovely dog. Thanks to a good plan of care, our pet was able to be ok again. But mostly he does care for your pet.

Found my new Vet! A kind and compassionate group of people. I cat followed me and my dog into my building last Sunday. Brought her over to check for chip. Sadly none. He had time to look her over for me and offered to post her on his Facebook page. Hopefully Chica finds her family but I found a new Vet for my dogs and possibly Chica! (I just moved back to the neighborhood )

Doctor Fidel Briones has been my dogs veterinarian for the past four years. Jellybean and I go for her checkups and vaccinations, our visits aren’t very lengthy and for the most part the staff in the past has been helpful. Over the years I’ve noticed a dwindling of staff. Throughout my visits in the past I’ve noticed that if I asked a question Doctor Briones seemed short tempered and would reply with a bit of an attitude. His English isn’t the best but it’s no excuse for his lack of positive attention. Although I’ve noticed this I’ve ignored it because I didn’t want to think negatively about my experience, especially because each visit isn’t an inexpensive one. Yesterday during my visit with Jellybean I talked to Doctor Briones about an accumulation of gunk in her eye. I asked if he could take a look and as he asked his questions I found it difficult to answer because I was unsure and unsure on how it gets there and we simply use wipes to clean her eye. My answers seemed short for him and I noticed the change in formality. I asked if everything was ok and he ignored me and moved along to ask more questions, however because he is now short staffed he left the room without notice to tend to clients walking in. Jellybean is often “nervous” when she visits, I suppose as any dog would be, but when he came back he said that giving her time the way he did usually helps. He was away for about ten minutes and didn’t excuse himself. When he came back he proceeded with a check up and checked her gums and effortlessly said she had gum disease...which I found very incentive, checked her ears and effortlessly she’s got an ear infection, incentive again. I asked, “How can you tell?” We have a very healthy and active dog who hadn’t shown signs of either problem. He showed the differences in the war which was minimal and said there was a smell coming from her ear. I got close and didn’t smell anything. (I work in perfumery and have a trained nose.) so I asked questions and curious questions to formulate a decision on what was to be done. Again this made Dr. Briones frustrated and he answered with unprofessional and sharp remarks. At this point I told myself I’d be intolerant to such unpleasant unprofessionalism. I asked again if everything was ok, that of which was ignored, again. He proceeded with a total of the days visit which was only about a twenty minute visit, where ten of those minutes were used to help another client. I asked how it ballooned to it’s total and he obnoxiously said that it was for today’s visit. Again perplexed I asked what had been done, and for an itemized list for understanding. As I was by an opened door (because it was very warm in the office) he didn’t excuse himself and closed the door indicating that I move. Doctor Briones was short of being professional and combatively showed me an itemized list. After showing the list he said that he values his relationships and felt as though our relationship was being tainted. How does respectfully asking questions about your pets well being turn into a tainted relationship? We’ve had Jellybean for 7 years, and are very sensitive to her needs. Why wouldn’t I be worried when I hear disease, during such a negative visit. Veterinarians should be prepared to answer questions that bring up concern. This Doctor, over the years has been rude, and I’ve kept quiet because it’s close to home. He isn’t friendly when you ask questions and was very dismissive. This may be due to a loss of staff and feeling the pressure of having to pivot job responsibilities but it’s no excuse.

Very patient and kind with my nervous dog. Prices are reasonable. Especially compared to Manhattan.
