It's not a happy feeling to be away from your baby at the doctor but this place made me feel comfortable that my Bella was in great hands. The girl who answer the phones are sweet and sound HAPPY! I had spoken with so many clinics and the people picking up my call so miserable. The technician who went over the medication with me answered all my questions and made sure I understood. English isn't my primary language so that's important to me And not to forget the doctor who was patient with me as I kept missing her call!????????‍♀️ I wanted to say I read about how expensive they are before I came but the way they took care of my Bella AND me, it's worth it! Unlike the hospital on Kent who had rude staff and wanted to charge $1600 to fix her!

Checked in over mobile in advance so that when I arrived I was in an exam room with my cat within minutes. Took care of my cat and that's all I could really ask for in an urgent situation.

I called on Sunday 11/28/21 and was able to schedule an appointment for the same day. The staff was great, and understood my concerns. Dr. Ambrosia was wonderful and took great care of my Munchkin, he is doing much better. I would definitely recommend and seek their services again.

Having a sick pet can be stressful as well as expensive, but it is so helpful to be able to take them to a compassionate and trustworthy practice like Greenpoint Veterinary Hospital. The vets are kind, knowledgable, and straightforward, and the rest of the staff are wonderful and help me feel at ease. I would recommend them to any and everyone in the neighborhood for their furry friends.

I love this vet! Every time I have gone, from standard check ups, to even oral surgery, Greenpoint Vet has been with me and my pup every step of the way. Fair pricing, staff that truly cares, and overall great customer service. If you live in the greenpoint / Williamsburg area, I cannot recommend this vet clinic enough.

Even during covid they have been responsive and easy to schedule with. I like that they have vaccination appointments which are short and longer appointments for checkups separately. Excellent care here.

Overall, the doctor is very nice and spent a lot of time addressing my questions. They also are pretty flexible with scheduling appointments and getting my cats the treatment they need. I’ve taken my cats to Greenpoint twice now but I’ll be going to a different vet from now on for a few reasons. The prices are extremely expensive. I was a bit shocked it was $100 per cat for just the exam but the doctor reassured me that it would be $50 for tech visits from that point forward. However, I apparently didn’t understand how that worked because it’s actually a $50 additional fee if you’re just bringing the pet in for a vaccine and they charge $100 if you need the pet looked at. The exam and vaccine fees are two times as much as the other options in the area I’ve researched since (plus there’s no $50 tech fee at other places). The first exam had been the initial check up as I had just adopted my cats. Going forward, they set it up so I’d have to come in February for the annual exam ($100) and June for the annual vaccines (which would be the charge for the vaccines + the extra tech fee) without communicating that clearly with me. When I asked why I was coming in twice a year rather than consolidating into one appointment and said I was concerned that it was adding up to be quite expensive, they said that’s the schedule I had put myself on because of when my cats were due for vaccines vs when I brought them in. I understand it would have taken some coordination but I think it would have been better customer service if they helped me limit the amount of time and money spent coming to appointments. Plus, they were quite rude as I tried to coordinate with them about this, even after I told them I was just trying to have a clear conversation with them. For something so simple, it took quite a lot of back and forth and negotiation with them to sort out. The doctor is clearly knowledgeable but the recommendations can be a bit directionless and really add up. My cat has had a couple coughing fits and the vet said she was concerned it could be cat asthma. I agreed, but then she recommended that we do several tests that were checking for several other things before we even ruled out asthma (the costs totaling $1000). They left the choice up to me but I’m coming to the vet for direction, not to decide what tests we need to do myself. That being said, my cats had Giardia and they diagnosed that efficiently with one test so I suppose it varies. Also, I do want to add that they gave me some complimentary meds to try to re-treat my cats’ Giardia as the first round didn’t work after they saw this review. Ultimately, I’ve found less expensive service elsewhere so that’s where I’ll be going.

Not cheap, but friendly and helpful vet. When my rescue cat, Chuck, developed a nasty infection in one of his claws they examined him (he had to be sedated) and cleaned it out. I will happily bring Chuck to see them again if anything comes up.

Best veterinary service in the Williamsburg / Greenpoint area. Dr. Vinitsky is professional, attentive and has kept my two pups in tip-top shape the past 5 years. As a side note, I’ve been really impressed with how they handle check-ups during the Covid lockdown: easy hand-off of pet, over-the-phone update and billing, then scoop your pups up after. Bravo!

I brought my kitty in today for a check up and for some tummy trouble. Due to the pandemic, I dropped him off and waited outside while the vet called me on the phone. She was very sweet and took time to go over each issue I wrote down on the form beforehand and had a solution or something to try for all of them. He got his shots, some new food for his sensitive stomach, some prescriptions, and suggestions for some calming supplements. When i picked him up they said he was a god boy (he actually always loves going to the vet lol) and when I got him home he was such a happy kitty, so I know they did a good job. This place got a lot of negative reviews so I was a bit weary, but I decided to give it a try, and I’m very happy. They didn’t charge me for anything extra, just what he needed. Highly recommend this place :]

Best vet I’ve ever gone to. Hands down. I never feel rushed. They are super professional and incredibly caring. Other locations I’ve gone to in Brooklyn had very long waits, crowded waiting rooms, and mediocre service. Not these guys— they knock it out of the park every time.

Great for unnecessary visits, refusing to fill medication, and overpricing their services. They refused to fill our dog’s medication even though they’ve been treating her for years. They attempted to corner us into going in - saying we had to schedule a visit or they wouldn’t refill her prescription, which wasn’t required and lacks integrity on their part. If your pet is sick, they’ll gladly say they’re booked for weeks without a reasonable alternative. I’d recommend Williamsburg Vet if you’re looking for an establishment that is honest, friendly, and cares about your pet and your pocket. We called shortly after and Williamsburg Vet put us on hold and came back with two alternative options for us and organized everything making sure we were very well taken care of. Does this sweet lady look happy here? I think not.

The vets and staff are all loving, knowledgeable, and efficient. They gave stellar care to my two beloved cats over the years. When time came to say goodbye, one pre-covid, one during April 2020 lockdown, they went above and beyond to help us through. Thank you, Greenpoint Veterinary Hospital.

Loved going here! made my shy pup feel really welcome and safe. They even answered a non related visit for me via email after the check up which saved me on visiting the vet again. Glad I found a spot that loves my animal as much as me :)

The staff at Greenpoint Vet are empathetic, knowledgeable, and caring. The prices they charge for their services are totally reasonable, compared to the level of care they provide, including follow up emails checking in to make sure treatment is going as planned. Last week, I couldn't get in for an appointment when my dog got sick from eating trash (again), but staff STILL followed up by email to see how he was doing. They love animals, and it shows.

Dr. Vinitsky & Dr. Zelman have been the best vets a fur mom could ask for. They are attentive, caring and very interested in the well-being of not only my fur babies but all their patients. The staff here is also great. They follow-up, remind and are just all out friendly. Amanda, Clara and German, just to name a few. Vet care is pricey and this place is comparable but you are always informed in advance of the costs and are never pressured to pay for anything you cant or don't want to. I have been coming here for over 3 years and don't even plan on going anywhere else.
